((This is a sleepover for all of the current preteens meaning, Jekel, Ligeia, Indigo, Nero, Sahra, and Keanu. Paxton is being invited because Raja doesn't want to be alone with all of these kids, so she's inviting Naito. And she offered to have Paxton bring a friend so he's not lonely. Thus, unless you are one of the CURRENT preteens, or invited by Gabriela as Paxton's friend. Don't post.

Preteens, you do not HAVE to take part, but I'd love for you to come. Bring your dragons <3

If you are wondering how you got the invite, it was through letter. Raja specified her adress, the day, the time, and that they can bring a dragon.

Edit: Gabs said that she had Paxton invite Vivina as the other child. So that's updated. <3))

"Hoo boy..." Raja mumbled, rubbing her forehead. She could already imagine the wreckage her house would be in once this was over. But at least it was big enough for them all. She'd invited... Seven people? And five dragons. Well that didn't mean they'd all show up, but... She shook her head, turning her attention to the boy sitting before the TV. The hybrid dragon was resting it's head on his lap, and dozing quietly. That long tail it had, had knocked things over plenty of times already. Obviously the young dragon didn't know it's own size very well yet. But it was harmless, and more calm than Keanu. Still, it seemed to enjoy his games, and played along with them.

And Keanu? Oh he loved Ymir to no end. He wouldn't sleep if the dragon wasn't in his room. Much less leave the dragon alone. Certainly he wasn't paying as much attention right now, but the boy would have looked up if the dragon shifted. It was obvious he was paying attention by the fact he occaisionally gave the creatures forehead a scratch right before the start of the fin on it's head. Both just seemed content with the moment.

That was good really, Keanu needed someone to be with. At least that was her thought. It was a bit alarming the boy couldn't really describe any of the people he'd met. Just what he'd done that day, what their name was, physical appearance. But when she asked about if he liked them, he'd reply sure, but wouldn't be able to say why. He just said they weren't bad. It couldn't be healthy...

But this could help change that, perhaps... Stuffing him in an area with people for a longer time, maybe that would help to fix this issue that was nagging at her mind. A small smile appeared on her face, and she turned, heading for the door, incase someone arrived soon. It was now two'o'clock. That meant they'd start showing up, didn't it? The kids would be here until their parents picked them up tomarrow, 5pm being the latest.

Oh, she was deffinitely going to need a nap after this, even if it would do Keanu some good. The house would be a wreck, but most of the breakables she'd hidden in the attic, and basement already. The upstairs, and downstairs where offlimits. The basement locked up tight, everyone warned about this... It seemed her checklist was good enough. Nothing forgotten. Snacks, drinks... Pizza companies phone number, and money to pay for god knew how many pizzas. All the people who had fled for the night's rooms had a padlock on them. Blankets, pillows... Yes, she was a prepared as she would ever be.

"May god have mercy." She mumbled, leaning against the wall in the entry hall. Her house wasn't a mansion, but it was large. Simply for the reason she needed the room. People came, and went from it, and she always needed the space. The upstairs was smaller, but still large, and with a balcony in the attic. The basement... Was quite large, but no one knew about that. It was her business, and her's alone. Five padlocks, and other things to keep it locked up for this next 24 hours should keep that working. So now... She just needed for people to show, and to hope the house was still standing was this was all done.

Keanu grinned as the red box in the corner flashed. "Level up!" He called, causing the dragon on his lap to open an eye. The battle continued even as the boy played, the spikey haired hero's voice chiming as he attacked. Along with the pair with him. Ah yes, Raja had brought out the gaming systems, and set them up. Keanu had learned the joy of Kingdom Hearts. Raja had come in earlier, and asked what he was doing, and if he shouldn't be getting ready for the part. He'd simply replied 'Saving the world.' Then smiled, glancing over his shoulder at her.

In all truth he was ready, dressed in his favourite shirt, which had needed to be tied in a few spots where it had ripped. A scarf around his neck, and slate colored jeans. He could go outside, stay inside. It would all work out perfectly. And! He'd even gotten Raja to turn down the heat to keep Ymir comfortable, as well as himself.

The boy paused for a moment, looking down to the dragon a moment, and running a hand along it's snout, down past one side of the fin. "So, you're ready to meet other dragons too, right?" He asked.

"Chrr?" Came the reply, as the dragon lifted it's head, yawning slightly, and shifting it's wings. It turned looking at the frozen moment in the screen a second; then swept his gaze across the room. "Chrrup?" It added in the mixture of a chirp, and a grunt.

"Yeah, it'll be great!" Keanu replied, rocking back, and forth a bit. "I bet everyones going to come, and we'll have tons to do!"

"Chep?" Came the reply, as well as a blink from the dragon. He turned his gaze to the boy for a moment, before standing up, and stretching. Waving his tail once, then again, he gave a slight chirp again before trotting off down the hall, obviously intending to greet this newcomers. Apparently for now, Ymir was going to wait with Raja, and leave Keanu to saving the world from darkness.

"It'llb e good for you, you'll make friends... Have fun... Games, pizza."I can have the night with Axel... A small grin played itself across her face. She wasn't sure if nero would show up at the party... But that wasn't her problem. All she knew is both the kids were busy and that meant funtime for her.

Simon huffed, leaning back against his seat, glaring at the seatbelt as he argued with it. "I don't like pizza."

"Maybe she'll order it with anchovies?"

He huffed, anchovies were good... Still. They weren't good enough to make the prospect of this whole idea any good. The dragon in the back gave a hiss, almost resembling a sigh. The noise prompted the woman to go over her checklist "You got your sleepingbag?"
"Yea."
"Your spraybottle?" the object was required to keep the leviathan moist when it was away from it's tank.
"Yes..." the boy responded almost too low to hear.
"Toothbrush toothpaste? Hairbrush?"
"Yes." his voice rose in annoyance, rolling his eyes "We allready did this at home."
"I don't want you calling me in the middle of the night saying you need something else!" phonecalls... what a moodkiller. The car fell into silence as the turned on the specified street.

"Almost here." Bree piped, once again falling into silence. Her mind fell back to one of the earlier questions. Who was Raja? Gods she could swear she knew that name from somewhere... but where?!

The mindblank of hers was bothering her to no end... Slipping out of the car she headed up to the door. She gave a firm knock, smiling brightly. Notonly would her question be answered with the opening of this door... But also, she'd have the night off.

Jekel, begruginlg, tugged off the seatbelt then slid out of the car to open up the door for his dragon. Every action he had was slow, if only to piss Bree off for making him come in the first place.
Lev eagerly left the back carseat, the whole thing was really cramped...

The shark boy knelt down, hoisting most of the dragon into his arms.He gave a grunt as he lifted the creature that was nearly his own weight and waddled down the path towards the door.
he shot a glare to Bree as he arrived next to her, she returned the look. "Allright, think of it as.. You're showing off your dragon in comparison to the other dragons?"

Jekel have a thoughtful look. Well, that wasn't half bad.

"Cheerah?" Came a sudden cry form the dragon at the knock, it shifted, pushing itself up from where it had laid down to wait. The creature eyed the door curiously, as the woman shifted from the wall, and moved to open it.

"And it begins..." She said quietly, mentally bracing herself for the mess that was to come. She undid the lock on the door, before opening it. The door was always locked, another rule. If people came in, and went in the basement... Well that would be bad.

As she pulled the door open, the dragon peeked it's had out at the pair curiously. "Chrrup?" He called again, shifting it's wings as it eyed the leviathan, and the boy seeming to be crushed under it's weight. Grayish blue eyes watched the pair for only a moment, before turning to the other creature on the porch. Taller this one, and female. "Chep." The creature turned away, wandering back inside, near the hallways entrance. He seemed to be deciding if he'd wait here for more people, or just go back, and check on his companion.

Raja's brows raised as she saw the woman standing outside. Familiar. Oh! That was right. "Bree! I haven't seen you in a while." She called, a smile forming along her face. "I had no idea you also had a child." Her gaze fell to the boy, with the dragon. A shark... And that thing was very different from her sons. "Hello there." She added sweetly, sugar coating her voice. Water creatures. She... Didn't have a pool, and... Well she could fill a bathtub of needed. The house had enough bathrooms that using one wouldn't hurt.

"Anyway please come in both of you, we can get your son's things set aside in the living room; the boy's will be sleeping in there, and then you can meet Keanu. Actually, he's in the living room as well." She added, moving aside to let the pair in. "Do you need any help carrying anything?" She added, trying to keep the nervous look off her face. Water... she hated water...

Ligeia was hanging off his father's shoulder's getting a piggy back ride while the red head was stuck carrying the dragon. They were both being rather difficult. Ligeia was worried about going, what if there was nobody there that he knew? What would be do then? He didn't want to spend the night! Thusly the plan of 'dead weight' was born. Ligeia and Vorel protested leaving home via laying out on the livingroom floor and stayed boneless.

Orpheus was eager for a night of relaxation and he had a few things that he had to get in order. Matters to attend too, and the like. So Ligeia was put on his back, the dragon was scooped up, and he carried them to the car and buckled Ligeia in, drove, then the same thing to the door to the house.

Halfway there though Vorel had lost interest in being a protester as he caught the scent of something interesting. There was food! And not only that he was sure that he could smell other dragons? Really? His tail started swish wildly at the thought of getting to see others of his kind! Well... no from the smell they were exactly his kind but at least of the dragon variety instead of human-y. Not that his humans were bad ones.

Vorel's interest got Ligeia interested and he abandon his spot on his father's back to go over to stand next to him, "What is it Vorel? Do you smell something? It better not be a girl." He complained. Far to often was he tackling them.

Orpheus gave a sigh of relief maybe this would distract him enough to want to do this? The boy needed to get out more andt his would be good for him. Let him get to know a whole slew of other kids all at once and ones with dragons even. People his age! Orpheus moved along ahead of the two that seemed to be arguing about what one should or shouldn't do with girls and knocked on the door.

The dragon had decided to ignore the newcomers, at least until the orange cat woman was done talking. He pattered back to the boy, and watched the game. Though it seemed only a moment before his head jerked up, looking back toward the front of the house. Another knock.

The leopard had heard it too, and looked at Ymir. "Mum's busy isn't she?" The dragon gave a chirp. "Alright... Let's go see who's here." He called, pushing himself up, and leaving the game paused. He wandered down the hall, toward the front of the house, and undid the lock as soon as he got there. He didn't need to check, he knew it would be locked. It alwasy was. That's how things where.

After unlocking the door, he opened it, peering out at the threesome. He recognized two figures. One better than the other. "Orpheus." He said recalling the red head from the class he'd taken, a smile brimming on his face. The other figure was the bird he'd seen in the class. He hadn't caught his name, but he recognized the kid. So Orpheus was his dad? Oh, and the last one... A dragon. It looked... Like ice... The boy's mind paused for a moment. Ice. So was that a frost dragon?

He was well aware that Ymir, wasn't quite a frost dragon. He was a mixed breed, a frost dragon, and a silver dragon. That's what he'd been told. "Hello, and welcome." He said, opening the door the rest of the way, and stepping aside. "This is my house, and this is Ymir." He added, indicating the pristine white creature at his heels that was eyeing the threesome curious. "Come on in, mum said to put things in the living room."

This dragon was nothing like the other one, no no... It was more like him, he could tell that much. "Chrr?" He eyed the blue toned dragon in a friendly manner.

Bree's eyes light up as the name clicked back into her memory. "Raja! Yea, you too. What DNA does your kid have?" She attempted conversation, trying to get teh familiar woman's mind away from her own hellspawn.

Jekel gave the woman a dull look. "I'm only here cause she's making me." he shifted the dragon in his arms, shoving past her to go inside and find a place to settle in and mope... or showoff. Whatver came first. He found himself in the living room, first noting the paused video game on the screen. Lucky. Bree wouldn't let him do much anything violent, movies games... Books maybe, but he didn't care for reading. It was allways too hard to make out the words. She claimed that his mind was violent enough and he didn't need any more ideas.
Perhaps that was true, but it still wasn't fair.

He plopped his leviathan down on the ground, moving towards the back of the couch to lean foreward and stare at the little character on the screen, mid smack of some black blob.

Bree sighed as the boy shoved on past "If he does anything i swear..." her voice lowered into a growl, then quickly cut off as she smiled to Raja. "He'll be fine I'm sure. He's all talk." she reassured, "You know boys and how they need to look tough." She gave a shurg, grabbing up the bags and moving inside the house alongside the familiar woman. "Where would you like me to put his things?"

"He's a snow leopard, in the living room playing games at the moment." She replied, smiling sweetly to hide the fact she didn't like the idea of a random water creature, or two. Just a bad habit. Oh well, she'd get over the initial surprise soon, and the kid, and dragon weren't in a water tank. So there wasn't a problem.

Eyebrows raised as the boy spoke, a surprised 'oh' escaping her mouth. "Well... I hope that perhaps you'll still have a lot of fun..." She mumbled as the figure pushed past, heading for the living room. Well int he direction Ymir had gone apparently. The dragon wasn't anywhere to be found either. Ah well... The dragon liked to be near it's keeper, that how it seemed to be.

She glanced back at Bree, shaking her head lightly. "I know all about it. Keanu insists on taking martial arts classes, and has even asked me if he could buy a sword. I certainly question what's on his mind half the time." She replied, shutting the door as the pair where inside, and starting down toward the hall.

"We'll put his things int he living room. I noticed most of the older children where boys, so I decided to let them sleep in there. The girls will be in a spare bedroom closer to my own room. So I think it should all work out." She called, starting down the hall the way she'd come from earlier. "I hope the kids can all have fun... I'm sure Jekel will enjoy things, I'm going to try, and have lots for them to do..." She mumbled, rubbing a hand through her hair. "I appologize if I fail at that... I've never really tried this whole... Mother thing before." She added, stepping into the living room, and spotting the boy starring at the TV.

"Oh? Do you like Kingdom Hearts? Keanu's enjoying it right now, he's saving the world form darkness. It's a lot safer than his habit of wanting to practice for reality in the house..." She said smiling, not realizing just what kind of kid Jekel might be. Nothing could be worse than her disobedient child. Or so she though.

Arguing with Ligeia was suddenly abandon when Vorel say the other dragon, he gave a sound of surprise and then started forward quickly, nearly knocking Orpheus over in his haste to get near another of his kind. He gave a draconic version of a smile and a: "Mrawrawr!" Of greeting.

Ligeia's eyes followed after his dragon, went to his father, then he hurried up to stand slightly behind him for the moment. This boy, he knew him from the treasure hunting class that they took together. They were unable to really talk at all though as if was a solo sort of class, "H-Eeeeello." He greeted, his 'E' getting draw out due to his resounding nervousness.

"Its good to see you again Keanu and its nice to meet you Ymir, this is Ligeia." He pointed at the Owl boy, "And thats Vorel." Pointing at the Frosty one. Introductions aside he hoped that Ligeia would become a little more relaxed and ready to talk and play. He laid his hand on the boy's shoulder to give him a nudge forward inside, "You can go ahead I will get Ligeia's bag." He said before turning to go back towards the car.

This would give him time to get to know people with Orpheus to hide behind.

Ymir gave a litle hop with it's front legs at the greeting from the other. This was the second other dragon he'd seen. The first being odd, and carried. This one was more interesting. "Cheeruh!" He cried back, shoving his head out of the door to get a closer look at the other. But being shoved back in, and to the side quickly.

"Ymir, let them in, you can say hi in a second." The boy mumbled, letting go of the door to move the dragon. Who tried to stay in place for a moment, before side stepping at the continued pressure. After successfully freeing the doorway of the dragons bulk so the three newcomers could come in, he turned again grinng at the shy hello from Ligeia. It was a rather toothy grin, which was used when he was pleased, or excited. Likely the one similar to what Orpheus had seen when he mentioned the kids going on a hunt for treasure.

He stood out of the way allowing space for them to come in, nodding at Orpheus' greeting as well, as noting the names. "Ah yep, good to see you too. I still have my gem thing." He replied, before looking at the pair closer to his age. "And it's nice to meet you, Ligeia. Please come in before Ymir blocks the door again." He called, nudging the creature he was holding back with his legs with a foot. Ymir was peeking around at them both happily. Obviously he liked crowds, and people. Neither of them was very shy, and Ymir might have been even more outgoing than Keanu in his own way.

Keanu glanced up as the other turned, musing for a moment. "The living room is just down the hall. No turns. It's the one at the far end." He called, giving directions. That's where everything went. It was the room that bordered the mainly used entrance to the backyard, with the two sliding glass doors. So it was the best room for the party. Easy access inside, and out. The kitchen though, wasn't exactly close though... The house was set up in a system that only his mum understood really. Keanu just memorized where things where, and that was that. But when they had guests it was easy to get lost, and open the wrong door. Or try to, people usually locked their room if they where in there. The upstairs rooms though, well only the attic was locked usually. Well anyway... Things wher ejust odd, so he hoped his instructions where enough, getting there was pretty simple.

Satisfied with his work, he then turned his attention back to the other boy, stepping forward toward the hallway he'd spoke of. "Come on, mum set up the room really nice. It's got games, and snacks. There's this one I found where you fight evil black things to save the world!" He called, eager to show off the wonders of video games. It didn't occur to him others knew what they where, he'd only discovered them today.

Ymir waited by the door, wavering between following the feline boy, and waiting for the other dragon. Apparently there where going to be a lot of others here tonight. Two of them so soon, it could only be that. "Chrrp!" He shifted his wings, eyeing the pair with obvious interest.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 10, 2006 3:38 pm

Ligeia's eyes followed his father for a moment then turned back to Keanu listening intently to what he was saying and fell into step following behind him, "Fight evil?" He wondered what sort of game it was where you would do that.

The owl boy closed his wings tightly to his back to make sure as to not bump anything with them, that and to give Vorel more room as he came pouncing passed him eager to keep up with the dragon that he had just got to meet and wanted to get to know more of. How nice to get a fellow dragon! His tail was wagging up a storm in his excitement.

Ligeia laid a hand on his neck, "Calm down a bit Vorel. Don't want to knock things ov-Eeer with that tail of yours." He cautioned him then looked to Keanu again, "It is... v-Eeery nice of your mother to allow so many people AND dragons over." She must be a brave person.

The boy nodded. "Yeah, the game let's you save a lot of people." He replied, walking along happily. Anything that meant doing good was fun in his opinion, be it community service, or a game. The boy had an interesting taste in things he enjoyed. Of course he'd never ended up doing community service yet, but it was only a matter of time, right? You never knew...

Though Ligeia had folded his wings, there wasn't much need. Raja might be brave, but she hadn't been stupid. Pictures, or anything in the hall, and most rooms the children would have access to. She'd hidden it where it wouldn't be knocked over, or broken. Certainly it made the house seem a little odd, where you could see that a picture should be hanging by the little nitch in the wall, but it was missing. Well, it was a good precaution, considering the dragon's being excited. And Raja knew how bad one kid, and dragon where... She could only imagine a whole group of them. Certainly though her child was a bit more active than others though. Not that she knew.

Keanu glanced over his shoulder, waving a hand. "Don't worry too much, most of the stuff mum put away. Otherwise I'm sure Ymir would have broken something on the way already." He replied, taking not that his own dragon seemed just as pleased to have friends to play with aside from the child. Tussle wars where great, but now he had others to goof off with as well. The dragon was prancing along happily, his tail waving back, and forth mimicing how the boy's did when he was pleased, and excited. He'd brushed the wall once, or twice when peering back to make sure the pair behind them where still there. Thus occaisionally causing a door to rattle slightly as it was bumped. But nothing was broken due to the lack of there being anything to break.

"Mum wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea, but she agreed to it." Keanu added, grinning. Really he'd been the one to wanted to see all the dragons, and the other kids. Raja had simply agreed after he begged enough, given in... That was the term. "But she's nice when she's not being too protective. She seems to like Ymir, so I think she'll like the other dragons too. Especially if they're like Vorel. He seems really nice." The boy called, stepping into the living room.

In there where a few people, mainly... He eyed the dragon on the floor, and a boy peering at the screen. His mother was there too. Obviously the people from earlier, but he'd never even seen this one before. "Eh, hello!" He called, smiling happily. More people, and a neat dragon too. That one looked like it belonged in a tank of water though. If all the dragons where going to be this sized too, well... It was just a very good thing the living room was large.

Ymir gave a little chirp as he trotted into the room, quickly turning, and watching the blue dragon happily, his tail wagging a few times playfully. They'd get to have fun, and play now.

and once again both of the young snow creatures head's shot up. "Cheerap!" The dragon exclaimed almost as if yelling 'DOOR!' And off he bounded down the hall, nails clicking once as that scraped against the wall in his haste. Obviously he was eager to see if there was a new interesting thing at the door once again. He was a bit over eager this time though, and there was likely the sound of a loud thud on the outside as the dragon skidded right into the door, and took a moment to shake himself, before glancing over his shoulder to see if the boy was coming.

Keanu of course did quickly begin heading back down the hall, murmuring a fast 'excuse me.' Dealing with the door was important, didn't want people standing around outside wondering if they had the right house. The boy was oving relatively quickly until he heard the loud 'THUD!' as the dragon made contact with a wall. That got him moving faster, and he quickly arrived to find the dragon standing eagerly by the door, relatively well. Obviously he was as hard headed as his companion was.

He eyed the dragon trying to discern if it was really ok, and assumed it had to be as it began to scratch at the door, eager to see what new creatures would be beyond it. "Right, right... Just don't break anything. Mum will be upset if we break stuff already..." He mumbled, heading for the door, and quickly opening it for the newcomers. Let's see...

He eyed the crowd, soon noticing two familiar figures. "Sahra, and Ephrem!" He cried, almost being knocked over as the frosty white, and silver dragon poked it's head against his leg to see the newcomers. Another dragon! Oh yes, he was a happy little hybrid mixed breed.

"Cheeruh!" He cried, moving his head back in to make space again for people. He was starting to figure out this whole system.

Keanu would have nudged the dragon out of the way as he went to step aside again, but he'd already moved so there wasn't a need. "Come on in, everyones in the living room. And sorry about that noise... Ymir... Ran into something..." He mumbled, trailing off near the end, as his ears fell. Then he was back to being Mr. Confident as usual, that grin of self assurance back on his face. "Anyway welcome, I'm glad you found the place. No problem right?" He asked, holding the door open happily. Oh this inded would be a fun evening.

The white coated dragon looked curiously at the seemingly upset muddy brown one. Cocking his head to one side out of curiosity. This one was not as fun as the blue one. Which meant... Flee back to the room! The dragon quickly turned around, giving the group a quick chirping grunt again, before trotting off back down the hall to where there where more interesting dragons to play with. He didn't want to deal with a grumpy dragon that didn't want to even make an effort to be halfway, not when there was the icey aqua one.

Keanu beamed lightly. "Yep, it's me all right." He replied, letting the cheetah in, and peering for a moment at the people outside as if questioning if they where going to come inside at all, as he glanced at the dragon. "He's still a little grumpy huh?" He asked, having not noticed the snake at all. Keanu was busy being the cheerful host of course, and why would he search for a snake.

He looked up at Ymir trotted off with a chirp, pointing after the dragon. "We need to go this way, straight down the hall. But I think mum said the girls go in a different room." He added, letting go of the door, and leaving it open as he started to move down the hall. There wasn't much point in closing it right? He's just end up opening it again in a momet. "Mum's in the living room too, so we can ask her once we get there. Cause I don't know which room it is." He added, starting along down the hall.

Ymir padded back into the main room, casting a quick look across the masses starting to appear there. Lots of people. More than usual in the house at any time, and dragons. This was a interesting event indeed.

"So, what have you been up to Sahra?" The boy asked, glancing over his shoulder. Obviously he wasn't too worried about the house ending up wrecked, as long as the dragons didn't run, it should be alright...
