Does anyone know the name of the band that Shinya and Kaoru were in before Diru? I saw a pciture in the Visual Kei section of this months Neo Magazine and thought 'oh wow that looks like Kaoru!...and wow is that Shinya??' i just wondered if anyone knew the name of theyre old band so i could research xD;;; Thanks

Shinya, Kyo, Kaoru, and Die were in La Sadies along with Kisaki, but there was some conflict witk Kisaki, and he left, and Toshi joined. That's when they renamed the band Dir en Grey. I have some pictures of them during La Sadies. They're so funny! xD They were a persona band. Shinya was the princess and Die was the mighty warrior xD. It's so funny!

Kyo and Shinya were in a band together before La Sadies...I can't remember the name, I'll have to look it up.

Iyami_of_Ra Shinya, Kyo, Kaoru, and Die were in La Sadies along with Kisaki, but there was some conflict witk Kisaki, and he left, and Toshi joined. That's when they renamed the band Dir en Grey. It says in one of those interviews on the 'translated inteviews' thread, that Die met Shin when he was with Kaoru

Ya, I think Die met Shinya when he joined La Sadies, because he thought Shinya was a girl, and he was like to Kaoru "Hey, Shinya's pretty hott, isn't she," and Kaoru went along with it, even though he knew Shinya was a boy, and when Die found out, he was all embarrassed, and that's why he's kind of mean to Shinya sometimes in a joking way xP

Even before La:Sadies, there was haijinkurobarazoku. I think Shinya and Die were in that with Kyou? It means something like 'black rose group'...I cant remember what haijin means, but kurobarazoku means black rose group.
Oh and the 'conflict' with Kisaki was that he, being the supposed closest friend of Kyou's during a time when his girlfried was 'missing' and he had no one else to talk to about his grief over that, he (Kisaki) was actually seeing Kyou's girlfriend. Kyou found out, and was so traumatised that he moved away from Kyoutou because he couldn't handle the bad memories there.

If someone wants to be a fangirl let them be in their own little world. But when they get let down because the band doesn't like fangirls, then that's their problem. But yami_of_Ra wasn't even being all fangirly....wtfh.
