Wonderful anime movie!

It's about a little girl named Chihiro who came accross a city (or town?) of the spirits where her parents got turned into pigs.
She must now work her way out in getting her parents back with the help of a few friends she acquired in the strange town.

It was rather nice.
I enjoy Miyazaki's concepts and characters.
They're very colourful and imaginative.
He makes his characters exactly as he wants you to see them.
The loveable characters are loveable right off, and the....not so loveable ones are the same.

Although it's been awhile since I've seen it. I should probably get it from the public library again...

The idea of the boy being the river was very imaginative...unexpected, too.
It really makes ye wonder....

"Brilliant, brilliant movie i loved it! BUT...... I recently bought and viewed 'Howl's Moving Castle' and have to add, with regret and happiness, that it has replaced 'Spirited Away' as my number one favourite film. IF you have not viewed "Howl', rent it, buy it, borrow it! It is marvellous and in some regards, more tragic, loving and beautiful than 'Spirited'."
