(It's alright, I'm roleplaying over msn right now, and it's so distracting.)

Kiji sauntered slowly through the elephant grass, head hanging and nose almost touching the ground. He was either deep in thought, or sleep walking, but either way, he felt a nice and slow, warm breeze ruffling his fur only the smallest amount. His large ears were perked, making sure that he didn't miss the smallest of sounds.

The distant chirp of a cricket intrigued him intensly, but he decided to stay on the trail he'd found, wondering where it led. His fluffy tail wagging behind him contentedly, Kiji suddenly caught a faint scent of another like him. He looked up for a moment and stopped, but seeing nothing imediately, he comtinued walking, not looking where he was going.

The next thing he knew, he had stumbled over something, and was now laying in a small heap beside it in the dirt, more than likely hidden completely in the grass, although only a few feet from it. He had managed to stir up a reasonably large cloud of dust, and shook his head, ears wagging almost as much as his tail. "That was fun." He said as he stood, shaking his entire body to rid it of the itchy dust.

"I'm sorry, really." Kiji said, still hidden in the grass, not that it mattered of course. "I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking. I sorta stumbled over you. I'm SO sorry." He said, trying frantically to cover up his mistake.

He took a few paces towards the other male, and then realised that he'd flung the dust off of his body, right into the other's face. "Oh dear." He said quietly, cowering into the grass. "I'm really, really terribly sorry about that." He continued, then shrunk further into the long blades.

His tail continued wagging, despite the current state of it's owner, and he couldn't help but smile. "Follow my voice, I'll take you away from the dust, alright?" He offered, standing again, feelig like it was his duty to help this stranger, since it was his fault in the first place.
