The small cub wasn't use to these lands and where she was she had no idea. Her bright blue eyes scanned the area as she kept her small body close to the ground, she didn't know where she was going or where she would eat.

The snow leopards body was skin and bones, she couldn't remember her last meal, maybe it had been when her mother was alive, she couldn't remember, all she knew was that she couldn't give up on her own little life as that wouldnt be what her parents would have wanted. The scent of water had hit her and that is where she would go, maybe there would be food there?

Maybe the cub was in luck, because not too far off, another made its kill. A dark body curved over a dikdik, frantically kicking in an atempt to escape with life. But it was far to late, the predators jaws were clamped tight on its throat, squeezing blood and life slowly out of the prey, while, at the same time, spreading the scent of blood through the air. Dikdik were relatively good meals, not too big, nor to small, perfect for apetite. Though, she wasen't that hungry either, but enough to crave food.

She lifts her prey easly, being rather light, before trotting through the trees of the jungle, in the direction of the cub, though blinded with the blood scent just under her nose. At least this didn't disable her ears, correct? She was rather majestic, and easly made her way up a tree with the dikdik, strong neck able to support its weight just like her species suggestd.

The blood hit the cubs nose and gave her the energy she needed. In a few seconds she was running on the trail of the blood. As she reached the tree she looked up at the meal and the other leopard, well there went any hope of a meal.

The youngster sat at the bottom of the tree and laid down, hoping her skinny form would be noticed and liked enough to be given something to eat, maybe given a little bit of meat so she had energy to attempt hunting for herself?

Obvioously, cubs weren't the masters of silence, and Karama had heard her approach even before she arrived. She looks down, watching the cub arrive and lay down. Wherever there was a kill, there just had to be scavangers, huh? But this was a leopard, and a cub, and she could spare a leg or two...

With a small huff, she tears off one of the dead antelope's front legs, tossing it down, even though aperently not caring if it might fall on the cub's head, it wanted food, she'd give food. Besides, she tossed it, it'd go away from the tree, and the cub was just under it, it'd only hit if she decided to toddle over.

As the leg landed on the ground the cub quickly got up and rushed to it, she tore off the meat and ate it happily, the blood covering her maw. Oh how it was nice to have food inside her again.

She paused and looked up at the femme, "Thank you, so much!" She smiled and ate a little more, her ears alert for anyone wanting her food as she knew what most scavangers were like, after all she had been one for ages now!

"No problem. " She mutters, before eyeing the cub oddly. "Its safer up a tree. " She blinks. "I can bring you and your leg up if you want. " Maybe she was a little nicer to this cub, cubs were always nice.. in an odd irritating way, but nice. Besides, she also resembled one of her.. Only, friends. Nice and white, and she also seemed polite. And there was the need for more leopards around, didn't want lion over populations.. Even if it already seemed so, anyways.

She looked up smiling, "You would help? Oh thank you so much!" She smiled and dragged the leg closer to the tree so the other didn't have to go far, in her opinion anyway. She waited next to it though, not climbing a tree and leaving food on its own, that would be suicide!

She lodges the dikdik neatly in the branches, before climbing halfawy down, then leaping the rest. You needed patience with cubs, they didn't have the claws to climb yet, more less bring their food. She grabs the leg first, not good leaving food on the ground alone for moments if it had plans to be eaten. She lodges it between two branches, so the part with more blood was upwards to lure less attention, before climbing down to get the cub.

"Stay curled up or you'll drag against the bark. " She sais, before opening her mouth and grabbing the cub by its neck, jaws around it, but still gentle to not strangle or hurt it. Its lighter than prey, much lighter, so the only difference is that its alive.

The youngster did exactly what she was told and stayed curled up, being smaller then average it meant that she was a small ball when curled up.

It was a strange feeling being picked up after all this time but the feeling of the strong jaws soothed the youngster, it was as if she was in her mother jaws once again and it let the youngster feel somewhat happier.

She leaps, getting her already a good way up the tree, before climbing the rest of the way. She drops the cub in the middle of the branches, wich is where the trunk ends to give life to the mass of branches, creating a small hole of sorts, good to put small things in. Afterwards, she climbs over to the branch were she left her dikdik, laying down and starting to eat.

The little cub clung to the tree with her small claws and turned to the leopard, "Thank you." She spoke so softly and quitely it was hard to hear her sometimes but she quickly turned and started to munch on her meat again, happy to be high up with food, this is where she belonged.

"No problem. " She mutters, not wanting to take too long to finish food, as safe as she was up in a tree, having creatures stalking about just under the branch was not something you'd like. Though.. How did one carry cubs /down/ a tree? It was quite different, you were upsidedown, then.

Alana laid where she was nibbling happily. She loved the height, being able to see all around it was magical to say the least and it reminded her of her parents. She missed them greatly.

"I am Alana by the way." She pratically squeaked. This little one didn't seem to care much for the others mood as she seemed rather solitary but then again, she couldn't understand why one would want to be on her own.

"Karama. " Nope, she wasen't renaming the cub, even if saying it like that made it seem so. It was probably her way of announcing her name, she seemed to say it like that often. She yawns, obviously not paying too much attention to Alana's presence, there was no need to. And she woulden't care too much about where her parents were eaither, it didn't seem to rare at all.

"Nice name.." She spoke quietly as she said it, quieter then normal.

As she finished her leg she laid her head on her paws and looked out at the mass of trees and other random things. She wanted to explore but in the trees, like monkeys, jumping from one to another! She could dream right?

She stood up and climbed up a few branched, pouncing on a few leaves chuckling as she went, this was fun!
