Any other Neil Gaiman fans? I've been into his stuff since about '96 when I cought a couple of episodes of Neverwhere wile I was in England and Ireland. I bought the book as soon as I got back to Australia and have been hooked on his works since.

I've read Stardust by him, it's an awesome book. He's coming to speak at my school in the fall, I'm totally excited about his visit.

Lucky! I went to a convention that he was a guest of honour at last year, I made sure I was at all the panels he talked at. He's such an amazing person, really great to all his fans and so funny to listen to.
I wish I'd had the guts to go up to him and say something, I know he wouldn't have been rude or told me to piss off or anything, but I get shy and nervous.
He's coming out to the Sydney Writers Festival next month and I'm going to try to get to as many of his sessions as possible.

I've read Stardust, Neverwhere (both of which I loved), The Wolves in the Walls, and Mirrormask by him. He has some really great stuff. I've been wanting to read The Sandman series, but first I need to track it down.

I also read about half of American Gods, but couldn't get into it at all. ^^;;

I thought it was awesome that he worked with the Jim Henson company to create Mirrormask, it really in the spirit of The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. (Though I really wish they had used puppets instead of CGI).

You're so lucky! The only time I've actually seen him was during ComicCon, and I had to wait in line for at least an hour.

Let's see... I've read all the of the Sandman series, Neverwhere, Star Dust, American Gods, Anansi Boys, Coraline, the Wolves in the Walls, the Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish, and Smoke and Mirrors. My prized possession is my obviously well-worn copy of Neverwhere, with Gaiman's signature. =D

I recently read Coraline, which was absolutely wonderful. Definitely my favorite of his books I've read so far.

Also the comic Black Orchid, also wonderful. It's Gaiman's and McKean's first comic for the American comic book industry, and takes place in the DC universe, so you see Batman and a lot of the Gotham villains. Very cool.

Both are Gaiman at his best. 3nodding

I've just started reading the Sandman series.

It's actually my second time starting it, because the first time I didn't like it, and I still don't like most of the first TPB.

I've currently read the first three TPBs, and I adore it. Once it gets going it is awesome. <3

I finally understand what all of the hype is about. sweatdrop

When is he coming and where do I get tickets!?

I first read Good Omens cause I love Terry Pratchett.. and then I kept on seeing Death's bust at Kinokuniya, I thought she was fantastic so I had a look for where she was from.. THEN I found out that he was the guy who wrote with Pratchett.. I have his short stories, all the Sandman comics, and Stardust.. heart
