Okay, I kind of gave up on the movie ratings for a bit because I was a little busy with something else. HOWEVER, I am going to continue. Not with Johnny Depp, though...that seemed to get old really fast. sweatdrop Anyway, I just saw this movie a few hours ago. It came out today and, for those of you who want to see it...here is my review. ^^
Title: The Benchwarmers

Story: It's about three 'nerds' [Jon Heder (Better known as 'Napoleon Dynamite ^^), Rob Schneider ( I cannot spell his last name worth a crap...is that right?) and David Spade (Who I just love. heart )] who want to prove that geeky guys can be good at something sporty. In case you haven't seen the previews, it is a comedy.
My Critique: Okay, seriously...this movie was HILARIOUS. The only flaw is that you have to like that 'stupid' comedy. If you don't care much for Napoleon Dynamite, you probably won't like this movie.
Now, the three main characters are great together. I love Jon Heder's voice and the dumb stuff he says, but some may not. I was surprised at how little people there were in the theater. It came out today, but maybe not that many people wanted to see it.
There was another downside, though. Some stuff they said, I didn't really like. They had a lot of homosexual 'humor' and references that I didn't care much for as well as some...well, gross stuff. It's not gory or anything, just...well, kind of weird, I suppose. ^^; However, it was a lot better than Date Movie.
Anyway, it's probably not a movie I'd buy. Rent, maybe, but I pretty much thought it was worth the $5.50 I paid to get in. I'm hoping that next week's Scary Movie 4 will be a lot better.
