Appearance:He's about 5'5 and always wears black hakama pants a white juban and a black haori covering the juban with an obi wrapped around his hakama pants, he wears a White haori on his back with the Kanji for Six on it. At present there is the reiki symbol for power on his back, due to the destruction of the last seal on his arm. Kody's hair is a dark brown, though in the sunlight it has been known to appear red, his hair, several inches up from his waist at his back, seems to be about 3 inches shorter do, to the waves and curls of Kody's hair.

No visable muscle, and only roughly 110 pounds, Kody appears to be nothing but a weakling, though that couldn't be farther from the truth. Slightly tanned skin, and a somewhat chubby face, give him a cute, baby appearance. His lips, a light-red stick out on the most on his face, as for the most part, it contrasts with everything else. His nose has no set features and just sits in the middle of his face, seemingly holding it together.

History: He was trained by a strange man because he was found because of his high reitatsu for a normal human. He was trained much the same way Ichigo was though it may have been harder. He only agreed to the training because he had seen hollows many times but was never able to help the person/soul. He achieved Bankai in the same amount of time as Ichigo though in a different way. He was chosen by Soul Society to be the captain of the sixth squad after Byakuya died. Even though he was an over night shinigami they asked him to be the captain because of his growth potential. At first he'd lie to his parents and say he was at a friends house or something along those lines when he was going to soul society. But it became to hard so he went to Urahara and asked him for a mod soul. He put him in his body and is now able to stay in soul society for long periods of time. Because he was an over night shinigami originally when he goes to the mortal world he doesn't lose any of his reiatsu making him strong in both worlds. He be friended a quincy named Aki a few months before he became a captain and when ever he needed help in the mortal world or shinigami weren't around she was allowed to fight hollows as the quincy once had.

Zanpaku-to appearance(shikai)((if it's known)): The hilt looks like that of a normal Katana's but the guard looks like a flame colour and everything, the blade is twice the height and width of a normal blade though and the tip is an extremely sharp point. The back half of the blade is jet black while the front is a whiteish grey. From the hild of his Zanpaku-to is a long black ribbon.
Zanpaku-to appearance(bankai)((if it's known)): the blade keeps the same hilt and guard but the blade becomes roughly 3 times bigger than his shikai form, making his bankai 6times the size of a normal Katana. The end of the blade ends in an L shape, curving downwards at roughly a 200 degree angle.
Zanpaku-to Abilities(normal): N/A
Zanpaku-to Abilities(shikai): Able to launch an attack much like Zangetsu's only it is a flame. The blade also can launch a stronger attack when he is angrier.
Zanpaku-to Abilities(bankai): The same abilities as shikai though it can extend to any length with his will and the L shape can become straight to stab through his enemies. He can also use the blood mist shield and another blood based attack.

History: A very mysterious man, who is very calm and collective, but when needed to fight...he is relentless. Not much is known about his past at all for he does not speak of it.

Zanpaku-to appearance(shikai)((if it's known)): The katanas meld together to become a double bladed weapon, the edges of the blades get slightly Jagged.
Zanpaku-to appearance(bankai)((if it's known)): The blades grow slightly longer, the jagged edges grow extremely long, the blades turn into a light green.
Zanpaku-to Abilities(normal): Creates minor slashes in the wind, thin cutting some of the hardest material.
Zanpaku-to Abilities(shikai): Can create large slashes in the air, with enough to split the very earth.
Zanpaku-to Abilities(bankai): The Wind Cutter attack, that creates a whirlwind around the caster, the whirlwind continuesly uses attacks similar to the cutting of air, but multiple times.

A tall man with black and white hair, with matching robes, walked down the great wooden halls of Soul Society. Around his waist hung two swords in a cross shape on his back side. A white vest with the number five in Japanese was wrapped lightly around his body. The way he walked was that of someone who was a leader and as he passed others it was shown, for they saluted him as he passed. This mans name was Captain Ryu Hanto of the 5th Squad.

Takurai bowed and stepped into the dojo.

"Kumagiri! You're late!"
Takurai bowed, "I'm sorry, sir. I stopped to-"
"Just find a sparring partner and get ready to fight," said the instructor.
"Hai." He stepped over to the weapons rack and grabbed a bokuto. He paired up with Oshiga-kun, a brown-haired boy with his hair pulled up into a ponytail.
"Hajime! Begin!"
Oshiga tried a quick vertical slice towards Takurai's head. Taku parried and sidestepped, coming with a horizontal of his own at Oshiga's feet. Oshiga jumped, and used his force into an attack. Taku quickly rapped the sword on Oshiga's knuckles. Oshiga dropped his weapon.
"Ow! That really hurt, stupid!"
"It's your own fault. You're too slow and your defense was way too low."
"You talk big for someone who hasn't passed in three years."
Takurai made a fist and slugged Oshiga across the face.
"Takurai Kumagiri! I'll tell you for the last time: HITTING A SCHOOLMATE IS PROHIBITED," said the instructor, "Drop and give me 50 pushups."
As sweat beaded down his face, Takurai decided that it was worth wiping the smirk off his useless face. This year, I'm gonna pass. I'm gonna pass.
