Plot summary :
Ritsuka, a young man dealing with the death of his beloved older brother, meets Soubi, another young man, who claims to
be a friend of his brother. Soubi tells Ritsuka that he is a "War
Machine", belonging to his own brother, Seimei. Moreover, he informs Ritsuka that he, Soubi, is under orders from Seimei to
defend Ritsuka in the coming conflict. The fighting in question pairs a "Sacrifice" with a "War Machine", and the "Sacrifice" partner, Ritsuka in this case, suffers any damage incurred.
Soon, hired killers from an organization calling itself "Seven Moons" are attempting to abduct Ritsuka, who learns that the group is also responsible for his brother's death. Determined to learn the truth about why his brother died, Ritsuka finds himself caught up in a war fought with words and their spellings.


Setting - In an alternate present day, where children are born with cat ears and tails which they lose once they lose their virginity and become 'adult'. Unknown to the rest of the world is an organisation which trains a select few in psychic combat. Each fighter has a sacrifice with whom they are bonded. The fighter posesses the psychic powers and the sacrifice endures the damage caused by the opposition. I've decided to set the RP roughly four years after the series.

Personality: "He will smile for you." He tends to keep it to himself when things bother him. He hates inconveniencing others or causing others pain and will often cause himself much suffering just to save someone else from something minor. He has very low self esteem, but appears kind and outgoing in front of others. The mask he wears on the outside is undermined by his inner personality. He hates having to hide himself, but he doesn't want to inconveneince others with his petty feelings. It is rather hard to become close with him due to the layers and layers of "skin" that keep his true self hidden.
Bio: Not much is known about him and all shall be revealed in due time... or... not.

Appearance: Short brown hair, longer strands by her ears, one blue eye and one green, wears glasses, she looks like the smart but cute mousy type. She still has her ears.
Personality: She's really very intelligent but also a bit hyper. She does have her moments though...
Bio: She's only just recently found the name 'Forgoteen', written in small ornate letters along the inside of her wrist, but has no idea what is means. She keeps it hidden under long sleeves of sometimes a bandage. She doesn't remember her father and her mother died in childbirth. She's always looked up to her big sister Kari who's never left her side. Up until last year when Kari bought them an apartment, she's been living with her grandmother.

Appearance: She has short choppy multi-colored hair, often completely random and she changes it a lot, light blue eyes and she has a few pale freckles, no ears.
Personality: She always happy and upbeat and always tries to be fair and kind to her little sister, Chidori. Although they do get into little fights now and again.
Bio: She has no clue about sacrifices and war machines. Her father committed suicide three years after her mother died in childbirth when she had Chidori. Kari has always taken care of her litle sister, making sure they were never seperated. She lived with her sister in her grandmothers house until just last year, when she moved with her sister into an apartment.

Soubi stood outside the school gate, as was his usual spot, smoking a cigarette. A few butts were already scattered at his feet. He never was one to care much about littering. Cobalt blue eyes looked over the crowd of cat eared children moving down the sidewalk and to the school, skimming for a certain set he'd recognize all too well.

Soubi took a drag from his cigarette, watching Ritsuka come closer over the rim of his glasses. With a pleased smile, he stepped forward. "Good morning, Ritsuka." The taller man looked him over. Each year the boy was growing taller and shaping out. And each year, the servant wanted to rid him of those cat ears more. Tapping the ash from the smoke, he put an arm around Ritsuka's shoulders. "I missed you." He said with a sly smile.

He nodded, toying with Ritsuka's cat ears, then leaned against the gate again, taking a drag from the cigarette. "I have the day off, so I thought I'd see you this morning." He dropped the cigarette and stepped on it.

He watched the blush form over the boy's cheeks, but said nothing of it. He knew Ritsuka's feelings were more then what he let on, but Soubi didn't want to push him too much. At least not at this exact moment. "Well I don't want to make you late. But I'm happy I could see you this morning, even if only a few minutes. I'll be back when you get out. Call me if you want ok?" He held up his cell phone as if reminding, then started down the sidewalk.

Watching Ritsuka run to class, he lit another cigarette ((gotta love his chain-smoking..)) and continued down the sidewalk. His roommate was home also today, likely hoping to pester him. Soubi grew a small grin. The blonde was jealous of Ritsuka, he knew, but really didn't care. And he didn't feel like seeing him either.. well, maybe he'd spend the day at the park. At least until the boy got out of school.

Soubi had spent the day at the park mostly, the rest wandering around and pretty much attempting to avoid going home. But, as usual, he was waiting outside the school gate when Ritsuka got out, smoking a cigarette and watching the kids going home. Spotting the very person he was waiting for, he turned to watch him walk up. "Hello, Ritsuka." He grinned slightly.
