While as late as it was, or early depending upon how one looked at it, Savanna was out and wondering the forests edge close to the Proch of the Feli house. She'd been ppast here, observing, this home for a long time, she was quite curious. Her tail flickered back and forth lightly as she keept low to the ground, her legs bent.
She was watching, seeing what kinds of Feli lived inside and what they looked like, what they did, she was curious in general and this was what brought her here often under the cover of darkness. Raekah Sirius stared out the window, suddenly alert by some kind of movement. What was it? What sort of animal would be out this late? Sirus stared critically at the window, suspicous. He jumped down, and walked slowly to the kitchen door, in case this animal might notice him. He glanced outside, but the darkness was stifling. He couldn't see a thing.
Sleet Tempest Snape Of course she was outside, what did you expect her to live inside a place like that? While she was sure many interesting things happened inside, or so the noises from inside indicated, she thought it looked stiffling, too small especially for all those Feli inside, but this was her opinion and since she liked the out doors and open spaces she was bound to think this.
Another flicker of a tail and a flash of wings, or maybe their outline, as they were streched before they were pulled back close to her body as she got down a bit lower to the ground. Raekah Sirius's attention was caught by a flicker of movement. Barely noticable but still there. The forest? Perhaps. Sirius bared his claws as he walked toward the forest, his body low on the ground. If a animal dared to attack him, he'd be ready. Sirius let his vision adjust to the darkness, seeing ..something. What was it? Sirus scowled. For all he knew, this animal could run before he caught them. No matter. Sleet Tempest Snape Of course this animal could run and that's what she prepaired to do as she spotted a Feli...a dark type juding by his wings, heading toward her. Standing up to her full height she turned quickly, her tail swinging as she headed off into the woods. Maybe he'd follow after and maybe he wouldn't, who knew...she certinly didn't. Raekah Sirius's eyes narrowed as he caught sight of someone fleeing. Should he chase them.. or naught? But already, Sirius had started after the animal, his paws lightning fast. Would he be able to catch up with it? He only went faster, his eyes searching through the forest. It would be answered when he found out what this animal was after. A feli? Hmph. Sleet Tempest Snape As luck would have it for Sirius, Savanna's bad legt paw caught o na branch she'd not seen ahead of time, not till it had already tripped her and sent her crashing to the forst floor with a yelp, thump and a hiss as she brought said leg up toward her stomach.
Looking down with amber brown eyes at her back paw she bent it, hissing as she did so. But chanced it and stood up, she already knew she'd be caught due to her trip but was it all that bad? Maybe she'd have some of those questions running about her head answered? Raekah Sirius caught sight of his prey stopping . What for? Sirius slowed down and stopped a foot away from his prey. A feli? What was with their paw? It was injured. Obviously. But Sirus said nothing as he walked over to the feli. His eyes were cold, and distrustful.
" Your paw. It's injured. You should head over to the house, and get it treated. " His words were that of someone who might've cared but his tone couldn't be less distrustful. He turned around, and beckoned with a nod of his head for the feli to follow him. " Don't follow if you don't want it treated. But I wouldn't advise it. You won't find any medicine in this forest." Sleet Tempest Snape "I've never....been inside." She said her words hesitent as she balanced her weight and shifted it so she'd not put to much on her paw that was sore and hurting.
That much was obvious given her type and the nature she had, how while curious she was hesitent and didn't seem very...social as her words were soft ans hy when speaking to another, like Sirius.
Savanna's own eyes were bright and full of questions but she wasn't going to ask, no it seemed this Feli didn't like her...or perhaps he didn't like others in general. Raekah Sirius glanced back at her. Never been inside? Hm. " You should go inside to get it treated. But if you like, you can come along and I'll treat you outside. Either way." His tone seemed to have softened. He waited patiently until she was ready to walk, and started to lead the way back. " Although I'm sure you know the way back, you can never be too sure." His tone held a hint of sarcasm. Sleet Tempest Snape "I'll stay outside, that place seems so terribly small." She said nodding once. It did seem small to her but she was used to the open forest with no buildings. For sleeping she'd sleep in a cave or in a stree, it wasn't anything unfomfortable in her oopinion at least but she figured most inside that place would find her sleeping and living ideal to be uncomfortable or odd. Raekah " Outside it is. Still. Its close to the house." Sirius roughly estimated the distance to the house, based on where they were. Even running through his calculations, he went on, pushing branches away and clearing a small path. " You'll need a bandage, and medicine. " He would've went on but they were already nearing the house. They hadn't run as far as he calculated. Close enough though.
Sleet Tempest Snape "That's fine...So long as I'm not in there, it really must besmall...With everyone that lives in there." She said shaking her head lightly. It was a surprise people could walk in there, or at least that's what her mind told her. "Why medicine...bandages should be enough, right?" Raekah " Its larger then you think. " There was a small smile on his face. " Actually, your right though. An ice pack would do better. Wait, out here?" Before waiting for an answer, Sirius strode inside, leaving the feli to wait a few minutes. He returned with an ice pack, and bandages. He stared expectantly at the feli's paw, as he lifted the ice pack.
Sleet Tempest Snape And she had waited out side sitting the best should could while hoping no one else came upon her. She was so out in the open it made her uncomfortbale but she didn't say anything or let it show, much.
As Sirius came back out and held up the ice pack she lifted her injured back paw which left in her in an amusing position but it didn't matter right now. "Oh...ummmsince your helping me I really should introduce myself. I'm Savanna." Raekah Sirius placed the ice pack on her paw, as he unwrapped the bandages. " The name's Sirius. Savanna. Why were you lurking around the house?" He was surprisingly direct. And he didn't seem to notice how uncomfortable she was. But he busied himself into wrapping her paw, right after. He stared critically at the work he had one, after he had finished and spoke again. " It should last you a while. You should come back to replace them if you'd like." Sleet Tempest Snape "I was curious, always have been, about the going ons inside this place. But I dare not get too close...Let alone go inside." She said while nodding to his name, she'd be sure to remember it incase she saw him again or needed him.
"How often shall I come back...?" She asked while putting a bit of weight on it as she sat back down with it under her. "I guess I can't sleep in a tree for while either...." Raekah " Come back in about a week. No pressure. And yes, you can't sleep in a tree. " After giving his advice, he seemed to consider the remark. " The house is interesting I suppose. Felis meet up, and become friends, mates, or something. I don't know much since I don't pay attention myself. I don't regret to say. But you can come in and visit when you build up the nerve. " And he'd also remember her name since he would probably be seeing her several more times. Sleet Tempest Snape "Is cave sleeping good or would that be a bad idea as well?" She asked lightly, curiously as she eyed the building behind Sirius with curisoity shining in those amber brown eyes. "Perhaps I will go inside one day...I haven't any friends. I'm a loner really." And she was, she knew no one, had no friends. She'd talked to two Feli before but they'd honestly made her really nervious, she wasn't nervious this time. That was mre then likely due to his calmness and the fact that it was only one Feli rather then two, one on either side of her.
"I'll be sure to come back and seek you out..." She said, which meant she'd have to go inside and find him...lucky her. Raekah " The cave is fine. But.. " His voice trailed off. He went inside and grabbed a blanket. He handed it to her, careful not to drag it in the dirt. A shabby, although very warm blanket was given to her. " You should use that. It gets cold at night. Anyhow, if you ever go inside it'll probably be easy to spot me. My eye you see." Even with little light, it was obvious. " Well, I should get going. Both of us need some sleep. Night." He turned away, and headed back towards the house.
Sleet Tempest Snape Taking the offered blanket she nodded and smiled lightly. "Thank you, and I'll be sure to look for you when I come next time Sirius." Here she bowed her head lightly as she held the offered item close to her as she imagined it would help alot while sleeping on a cave floor, they were a bit cool, even to her. "I'm sorry about your eye." She said then before he departed and she turned and made for the forest again. Raekah Sirius watched until she was out of sight. Then he settled down on the porch, and watched until he fell asleep.

Hatter and SiriusRaekah I'll start. I'm sorry if my posts are short D;
Sirius sat on the porch, watching the dawn. It was rather early in the morning, and hardly any other felis were out. If any were, he'd yet to meet them, he thought scowling. Still, he enjoyed being outside duuring this time of the day, when it was still cold. underthered Was it true? Was it truly true? From his position lying on his back in the lounge, he rolled onto his feet and stood, running to the window to get a look at the horizon. Yes, it was true! The sun was reborn! The apocalypse was over and things would be alright again! Gleeful, Hatter ran out of the room, down the hall, and plunged straight out the Feli flap, doing a flip and landing right on top of Sirius. He smiled at the stranger under his frame and declared "Good morning, afternoon, and evening sir! Isn't it a lovely post-apocalyptic dawn?" Raekah Sirius glared at the feli who had just run into him. But what was it he had said? A post-apocalyptic dawn? Sirius grimaced. He was just imagining that wasn't he? Putting the thought out of his mind, he turned his attention towards the feli. " You shouldn't run into other felis, a bit of advice", Sirius said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. underthered Hatter laughed merrily. What a delightfully silly gentleman. "Why, I didn't run into you!" Hatter responded as though it were perfectly obvious. "As you can see, I am still completely and wholly on the outside of you. I did, however, land on top of you, and if that is a bother than I appologize... but I wasn't to know you would be out here, so there wasn't much I could do." He shrugged, then sat down next to Sirius and looked him over curiously. "This begs the question, of course, as to why you are lying where others might step on you if you do not which to be stepped upon." Raekah " Most people would actually look to see. And if you're ON a feli but you ran, you at least ran into me. " Sirius tried to explain. But this feli, was confusing to say the least. He hardly knew him and yet, he already felt exhausted with the feli. " Its alright anyway. It doesn't bother me". Hm. For once, Sirius realized he wasn't being his usual sarcastic self. But of course, the feli was a different story. " But whats your name? Mines is Sirius" he offered. underthered Hatter took a graceful bow, sweeping the hat of his head and bending low. When he rose, he planted the hat back on his head and replied, "Wonderful to meet you, Sirius, and a most happy unbirthday to you. I am called many things. Most just call me Hatter, but you may also call me Mad, because I am quite so." He turned his attention back to the horizon and smiled on it, saying nothing for a moment- a rare moment for him. Few things were more beautiful than the rebirth of a sun. Raekah Sirius stayed quiet for a moment. Where did the subject of birthday come from? Sirius pondered over the thought. " Well, Hatter it's nice meeting you. But I wouldn't say you're quite mad. Confusing maybe. Not to offend or anything ", Giving Hatter a small smile. underthered Hatter scoffed indignantly and waved the suggestion away with his paw. "Well of COURSE I'm mad!" he declared. "We're all a little mad here. Or perhaps we are all very sane and the world is mad. Either way makes perfect sense to me." He looked around for a visual, then bounded down the steps and picked up a branch. "For example, look at this branch. Look at it. Look. It wasn't here yesterday, so either I've imagined it up, or the world did, which makes one of us very mad indeed." Raekah " Has it occured to you it might have fallen out of a tree since you seen the place last? " Sirius said, thoughtfully. Or perhaps the world WAS mad... Er. No. That was not a entirely logical way of thinking. " Okay. Perhaps you ARE mad." Sirius conceded.

pg 2465 - 2466, Tris and SiriusKittyintheraiyn Tria was feeling under the weather. Under the weather? Sorta an odd way to say it, she thought. But maybe it was right enough? She had a cold and it was cold out, but she felt hot! So she got up from the couch she was resting on and when to sit on the porch, maybe for just a minute to cool off some ... Raekah Sirius flickered his tail, as he watched the snow fall. Hearing someone on the porch, he turned around, curious. Another Feli. Hmph. He spared the feli a glance before turning away again. Apparently a female, he decided. But something seemed strange. He turned around again, and stared at her curiously. " Are you alright? " Kittyintheraiyn Tria stood on the cold wood of the porch, staying back a bit from the edge, to be out of the wind.
The cold air felt -good- though and she sat and -murr-ed to herself and then startled when she heard the male's voice.
"Oh! Yes I'm alright." She moved a bit to sit near him. "Sorry I didn't see you there or I would of said 'Hello', I've just got a cold is all and I thought I'd come out here to cool off a bit... Not too smart though maybe. -heh- I'm Tria by the way, It's nice to meet you?" Raekah " Pleasure. My Name's Sirius " Sirius relaxed again. " But shouldn't you be in bed if you have a cold? Or did they change it last since I had one? " Sirius said sarcastically, although rather good-natured. Sirius gave a sudden smile, as he gazed at the falling snow. The scene was rather peaceful, and quiet. Kittyintheraiyn Tria smiled at Sirius's sarcasm. "I've been resting on the couch all day and I don't feel any better, maybe this will help, plus I was bored so . . . " She let her though just trail off and she looked at Sirius, his peaceful expression lead her to be silent as well, until she sneezed.

"Excuse me" she stated. Raekah " Usually lying in bed helps although I can see the lord almighty has made an exception in this case." Sirius commented. He frowned as a bit of snow landed on his head. He blinked and shook his head a bit in a feeble attempt at getting the snow off. ' It awfully cold today isn't it? And its going to get colder as night comes." he said, ruefully. Kittyintheraiyn Tria snorted and giggled a bit. She liked this dark feli, usually they were cross and careless to a fault, this one though, he was nice even if he tried to hide it.
"Well since you care so much, will you join me inside? Or are you one that doesn't like this house?" She stood.
"I can make cocoa~" she tempted in a sing-songish voice.

Pg 3876-3880 Leez0rz Tobias yawned, uncurling from his ball-like state. He blinked a few times before adjusting his eyes to the lighting of the room. The kit was high up on a shelf, he always did like high places. It made him feel superior and powerful. He grinned as he looked down on the ground which seemed a bit smaller from his point of view. First, he would find his prey then pounce! Hopefully, not getting injured in the process. But young bones heal fast, right? Kittyintheraiyn Moving quickly Tria was in a panic, she ducked behind the curtains for a moment but moved on, next she would be seen, to anyone watching trying to squeeze under the couch but she got only about half way in before pulling her head out and moving on. Wide eyed she turned her head this way and that, seeming to be looking for something. Leez0rz Tobias grinned, seeing Tria's moving down below. He smirked as he readied himself to swoop down to capture her.. at least pin her down. The kit flicked his reddish-brown tail, anticipating the right moment came to strike. His target had moved to a reasonable distance and he "swooped" down upon his chosen victim. Kittyintheraiyn Hesatating for just a moment more got Tria 'caught' as Tobias came crashing into her, "Uwah!" She yelped, startled once again out of her wits by the fledging. Looking over her shoulder she just knew it would be him. "Tobias! You got me again! But where did you come from?" She stood with the kit on her back and walked in a tight circle as she spoke to him. "I didn't see you at all." The susprise was very present in her voice. Leez0rz Tobias chuckled, clinging to Tria by her shoulder and sat on her back. "I came from up above!" He said with a powerful voice. "Of course you couldn't see me! Or else everything would be ruined if you did. It's all about the element of surprise!" Kittyintheraiyn "Above?" Trillatay looked up and up, "You were on that shelf? Wow, you sure you don't have a pair of these yet?" She spread her pink wings wide and flapped them lightly, "I like being susprised, I'm still gonna try and keep my guard up, but feel free to land on me." She giggled, what was she saying to this kit? "Anyway that's a great hiding spot, come to think of it, maybe a liiittle unfair though..." Leez0rz Tobias nodded. "Yes, I was. How could you tell?" The kit looked at her wings and oogled at them, indeed wishing he could have his own pair soon enough. "I wish I did have of those.. then I can truely fly and soar." The hawk feli tilted his head to the side, rather confused what she meant. "Mmk~" He paused. "How was it unfair? I'm just a better hider than you are." He grinned, sticking his tongue out slightly at her. Kittyintheraiyn "I guessed, plus that's high enough that I didn't look there when I came in the room."
Grin, "Maybe one day soon you will, I mean the chances are pretty high that you'll get wings..." She tried to picture an aqua-Tobias in her head and giggled to herself, "Oh, I ment when it was my turn to hide from Daisuke. Daisuke! I'm still susposed to be looking for him, we we're playing hide and go seek, wanna help me find him?" She stuck her tounge out like a kit and smiled, purring lightly. "I hope he doesn't think I gave up." Leez0rz Tobias pouted. "Well, if you looked up once in a while, it wouldn't too hard to spot me in that shelf." He blinked. "I hope so, maybe when I'm as big as you I'll get my wings! I bet I need to deserve them to get them." He began to comtemplate how he would get his wings.. "Sure!" He jumped off of Tria's back, before scampering into the hallway. Kittyintheraiyn "I'll be sure to then, Tobias." She continued to smile. Deserve them? She followed after the kit calling softly, "I've checked the kitchen and the library, where else would that kit hide?" She looked left and right, maybe in the greenery room?
Unknown to his sister and the brown kit Daisuke was hiding at the top of the stairs curled into a ball and crouched in the shadows. Leez0rz Tobias walked in the dark hallway, the dimlight giving his amber eyes a slight glint to it. He sniffed around searching for Daisuke's scent. "Hmm.." He slowly made his way to the staircase where he looked up and saw darkness. The kit hopped up stair by stair, before colliding into something hard. ".. ?!" Kittyintheraiyn "Itai!" Daisuke gave a cry, he'd had his eyes closed, to better hide, seemed it worked, "Oh, Tobias-kun, hi." He said in a soft voice, them made a Shh motion. "I'm hiding from Tria-nee-chan." he all but mouthed.Tria had just stuck her head into the conservatory when she thought she heard something. Leez0rz Tobias eyes widened, hearing the hard object talk. "..Eh?" He whispered softly. "I know! She sent me to help find you." He whispered again, before yawning.. "I think.. I'm going to sleep. Night night." He curled up next to Daisuke and fell asleep. Kittyintheraiyn Daisuke peered down the stair and saw Tria stiffen and turn, she'd heard him he just knew it... maybe if he could make it to base before her? he thought.
Tria stood at the bottom of the stairs looking up, "Dai-su-keh~! Is that yuu?" She started up.Daisuke paniced a bit, even if this was just 'hide n go seek' he didnt want to lose! He looked through the railing, then lept down and dashed down the hall to the front door and the porch, which was 'base.'Tria saw her little brother's flying leap, she stood shocked for a moment and then chased after him, he was heading for home! Raekah Sirius stood up to walk inside the house, and was surprised to see a flash of red streak by. " Hmm?" Confused now, he watched in dumbfolded silence as.. Tria? Also ran by.
Kittyintheraiyn Almost! Tria ran flat out after Daisuke but as he had such a lead she knew she'd not reach him, "Faster than me too..." she commented, and shook her head walking back upn the hall a bit. "Sirius, good evening!" Seeing her dark friend sitting there looking susprised made her smile, "How are you?"
Practilly flying throught the flap in the door Daisuke's voice could be heard shouting, "Baaaase! You gotta count again!" He came back in an sat grinning, "Oh, Hallo, Sirius-san, wanna play with us?" Raekah "Sirius smiled uncertainly. " Good Evening....Fine I suppose." He looked at Daisuke, and back at Tria. " ..Play? What sort of game are you playing?" He grinned. " Be careful not to go into the forest. " he commented. Kittyintheraiyn "Hide and go seek," Tria answered with a grin, "you don't have to if you don't want to..." "But it's fun with more hiders!" the red kit finished."Yea, we know, that's why the porch is 'base' and the hiders stay in the house." Raekah Sirius peered inside the house. It seemed like it would have alot of hiding places.. " Sure. Why not? Who'll be the seeker though? " He asked.
Spiritweaver Calypso skipped through from the lounge through to the hallway, coming to a halt as she spotted the trio of felis. She arrived just in time for her large ears to capture the words "hide and seek"... Curiousity filled the feli's mind, ears perking forward as she padded further towards the three. "C..can I join?" she asked, ears drooping a little as natural nerves began to take over her. Kittyintheraiyn "Yay!" Daisuke hopped up and down, "Hallo, Calypso-san!" He was all smiles "I know, I know 'jan ken pon' to see who is it!""Sounds good to me, 'rock paper sissors' you two?" Tria held her paw in as a fist between them. Raekah Sirius glanced briefly at the new feli, but held out his paw. " That sounds fair" he agreed. Spiritweaver Calypso blinked and slowly held out her paw. It was the first time she had done 'rock paper scissors', but had heard of it. Kittyintheraiyn Getting paper and then sisors meant that she'd be it but she smiled, at least there were more than just two now.
"Okay, I'm gonna count out on the porch again, that's base, you guys go and hide!" Tria nodded and turned to hop through the flap.Daisuke was already off and running, -Fwee-!"Oooone, twooo, threeee..." she began counting very slowly from outside. Raekah Sirius started towards the living room, and looked at it, assessing. Since it was night, it sould give him some sort of advantage.. Sirius's gaze rested on the sofa. He squeezed behind the sofa, and pushed it out a bit. It was only a bit noticeable he realized. He grinned again. Too bad he wasn't as small as Daisuke. Spiritweaver Calypso held her paw out, shook it three times then held out her paw flat. "Paper" she called out.. She nearly bounced when she won against Sirius for the first time. She turned towards Tria, and repeated the action. "Paper... aww" she murmered, ears drooping a little, tongue sticking out from the tip of her lips. Tria got scissors that time, she should have chosen a different one. Oh well.
"You wont find meee" she called out, as she bounded off to the living room, scanning around for a good hiding place.. Behind sofa? No, too obvious.. In the piano? Nah.. Her eyes scanned upwards and twinkled as she looked up at the hanging lightshade. (presuming its an upturned one) She spread her wings, and flew up to it, settling herself inside the lightshade and avoiding contact with the bulb.. She hoped that.. 1. the heat from the bulb wouldnt overheat her, and 2. the lightshade would hold her weight... Raekah Sirius glanced around sleepily. He was getting a bit tired, he realized. Stil.. But his thoughts trailed away. Before he knew it, he was already asleep.

Excerpt Stolen from Kitty since Rae's lazy to go look for the posts. @____@Kittyintheraiyn Tria had awoken from her catnap to find that it was late, and the house seemed very still. She had left the bundle in her care wraped in a blanket sitting on her pillow near the fire place and had ventured outside to sit on the porch for a few mintues, just to watch the storm, she felt something very -wrong- was going on but didn't know any of the details. Raekah Sirius let his tail flicker for a second as he wandered around the house. He felt restless, and the storm left him with a feeling of uneasiness. Sirius bounded towards to the porch, surprised to find another feli aleady there. It was unusual since most felis were asleep at this hour. " Hello? " He turned his attention toward the Feli infront of him. He settled down onto the porch, not far from her. Kittyintheraiyn "Ah. Hallo there Sirius!" She smiled at him. "Nice weather we're having huh?" The sillyness was back in her voice and she was feeling 100% again unlike the night when they had met. "How've you been?" Raekah Sirius smiled ruefully at her comment, while he glanced at the sky. " Fine I suppose. How about you? " He blinked, as he watched the approaching clouds. " Seems like tonight, we'll have a large storm. " he commented. Naita A source of comfort was usual for the Caller when the heavens opened, soaking the meadows in cooling water, but this dousing brought no joy, no pleasure.
The skies were black, angry. Lacia's season had gone awry, and often could he make out her white form bobbing against the bulging clouds, those angelic wings cutting a way through the biting winds. He sighed for her efforts, her pain.
The garden was beginning to creep with a lurking that the forest had succumbed to, shadows were not yet prevalent, but in them he now and again caught a flicker of movement, an unwelcome sight.
The pond in the back garden had provided him some solace for the past hour, but then, dripping, he made his way to the front, skirting ever close to the house. There the Guardian's had made enough of a mark for safety, there shadow held no malice.
Double pair of wings fanning off the falling water, Laes continued onwards, almost at the porch to envelope the entire front of the house, it's stairs inviting upwards. And there were two, seeming strangers to his eyes, their figures shaded by the seeming almost constant darkness, under such skies. Kittyintheraiyn "We've been having a large storm for awhile now, something is up with the forest I just don't know what. -brr- I think I've had enough fresh air, I'm heading inside again," she turned to hop through the flap but looked back "Will you join me? It's nice to have someone to talk with." She sat once again, not heading in quite yet. Raekah Sirius looked curiously at the feli who was in front of him. His wings were unusual he noted. " Who's there?" he called out sharply. He'd never met this sort of Feli but he could be dangerous. Especially since his sense of uneasiness had grown, and the storm clouds looked especially threatening at the moment. He barely heard Tria, but he managed to reply. " I'll come in, in a moment."
Naita The ears supporting a shining crown twitched at this somewhat less than stately greeting, but at least somewhat of his grim manner was shaken off.
No wind, rain or impending threat could tarnish the Caller's smile. Then again, he had not yet learnt the fate of his friend. Perhaps that would at last dash it from his face for a length of time.
"A sodden miscreant, and yourself?" he chuckled, stepping into the light pooling out of the kitchen's un-curtained windows.
"I do feel storms take away from the enjoyment of a swim somewhat, wouldn't you say?" Raekah " Yes, a storm does take the fun of swimming away. But are you even suppose to be swimming before a storm, and at this hour? " he remarked dryly. He stood up, and turned to walk inside. " Might as well come inside. Have some cocoa or something. " He glanced around the room for Tria. Was she around here, he wondered? He glanced back the the other feli. A sodden miscreant? The feli certainly had a way with words. Kittyintheraiyn Tria had stopped mid-hop and turned when the caller spoke, tripping on her own feet. She'd not met him before but she felt that he wasn't just another serephim, and the crown upon his head was a lovely sight to see.
"A half frozen silly." Tria stated, refering to herself, "Yea I don't think even the bravest water going feli would swim in this weather sir." Raekah Sirius caught sight of Tria. Stypid him, missing her when she was so near him. He almost laughed, and he acknowledged her with a nod. He walked towards the fireplace, and stared for at the blazing fire. It seemed strange somehow. Naita "Before a storm? No, this storm unleashed too early for me to catch the window beforehand. I simply could not wait, days it's been pelting it down. Days it's been..." here he trailed off, following the pair indoors.
The fireplace warranted a glance, but instead the watery seraphim placed himself in the bow window, alternating his gaze between the pair and the skies outside.
Sure enough, a white figure bobbed against the black skies. Laes shook his head at her determination. What drove her onwards?
To the femme he then nodded, shrugging.
"Bravery drives us not as desperation will." Raekah Sirius ignored the feli near the window. He stared at the fire, comforted by the warmth of the fire. It seemed to pull at something within him, making him remember something long-forgotten... What was it? Sirius smiled absentmindedly at Tria. Kittyintheraiyn Tria settled onto her pillow and wraped herself about her 'brother' and nuzzled it, before sending a questioning look to the window and the blue feli.
"So what is your name sir? And do you know what's been going on, why the weather is like this, did something really bad happen?"
Tria was too chattery for her own good at times, unknowingly she belted out the first thougt in her head without waiting to think it into a clear sentance.
She looked to Sirius to see if he was wondering too and found him smiling and so she smiled back. "Did you want some cocoa, you'd mentioned it before, I can make some for all of us." Raekah Sirius blinked again. " Sure, Tria ". He settled down in front of the fire, as he saw a bundle near Tria. He was curious but didn't feel up to asking. He concentrated on Tria's questions. Did this feli know something about this strange weather?
Naita A half-shrug met this query, for though Laes had his suspicions, he had yet to meet with Lacia, to find out that which had passed to set the balance so off kilter.
Instead, he divulged a little of his suspicion.
"I know not the event, but the outcome of it seems set in stone. The Valley's balance is off, the seasons, and, alas, elements, in uproar.
The forest is most out of sorts, it seems to lurk on the edge of the meadows, rather than merely sit. Something out there is wrong." Raekah " Why hasn't anything inside the Feli house gone wrong?" He said, suddenly. He stood up and paced around, restlessly. He glanced around the house. It didn't seem very diffeent but perhaps it was. He was never around to notice anyway though. Always outside or something, he reflected. Kittyintheraiyn "The balance is off..." Tria pondered on this for a moment trying to peice together what could cause this. "So something is missing that would throw the balance wry, winter is always cold and stormy, but this storm is not just a storm... And the shadow that lurks in the forest has moved to the meadow... But what went missing?" Tria had no knowlage of callers or guardians having never met any of them, she didn't know summer was missing, she didnt know who winter was. She looked up to the pacing Sirius "But something is wrong with the house, the upstairs is a void and the rooms are all closed to us, that changed, but I dont know when." Naita The house? No, no ill had come to the house that it did not wish itself. The girl's comment reached his ears, and a shaking head met it.
"No, nothing in the house is amiss. It is as it should be, as it wants to be. The Guardians protect it, and none but that which the house itself wills is within."
What the house itself wanted, this Laes dared not guess, for many a mystery none could know existed. Why the return of his crown had opened the room whose door was hidden beneath the stairs could not be answered, even by Hephaes.
"Why it hasn't," he here addressed the male, "is that which the four Guardians offer it, their protection. No danger will meet you inside as long as they are here."
The question of his name seemed to have passed, at first, unnoticed, but all at once he lowered his head in a bow, introducing hiself as "Laes, madam." Kittyintheraiyn "I guess I don't know as much as I think I do, about the house I love and live in." Tria stated, silent for a moment, then eyes upon Laes again.
When his name was given Trillatay's maw split into a grin and she returned the bow with one of her own, her head slightly bonking the floor as she was sitting curled up like a cat-loaf and not thinking. "My own name is Trillatay, but if you please Tria is fine, for my friends call me that."
"What are the Guardians that you speak of, spirts that protect the house?" Tria had remembered hearing that someone had gone missing, but that was a long time ago and she haddn't learned of the new dissapearances.

Excerpt stolen from KittyKittyintheraiyn Tria lay semi napping on the couch, eyes half mast, tail twitching, but Daisuke was wide awake, he was sitting almost -in- a book near to the fireplace attempting to sound out the words before him. The red kit had had his Nee-chan drag the book in here so he wouldn't be alone and he could still practice. Raekah Sirius wandered through the kitchen and walked towards the living room. He glanced up only to see Tria and a newcomer. " Hmm..?" He glanced over to this unfamiliar feli. " A new friend Tria? " A eyebrow rose. Sirius studied the newcomer, his expression indifferent. Leez0rz Tobias laid in a tight ball, his redish brown tail flicking in front of his maw. Slowly, he awokened from his slumber, his piercing amber eyes opening up to the world. He spotted two felis not far from him and observed them silently. Kittyintheraiyn Blinking and comming awake Tria smiled "Well you could say that, he's my little brother." She spoke softly as not to disturb the fledgling-kit whom she thought was still sleeping. Daisuke looked up from the Where the wild things are at the adults and smiled, "Hallo, my name is Daisuke, Niwa Daisuke, it's nice to meet you, are you one of Tria-nee-chan's friends?" His voice was high and loud, not to be rude, he was just happy, and since he'd had his nose in the book he had not noticed the once sleeping kit. Raekah Sirius acknowledged Daisuke with a nod. He headed over to Tria and sat down quietly. His eyes flickered over to.. a ball? Near the fireplace. He blinked. " Is he also yours?" His eyes rested on the kit. Leez0rz The hawk feli noticed one of the other felis' gaze settling on him. Slowly, he arose onto his paws where he would walk towards the three feli. "No." He answered for himself. Kittyintheraiyn Before she could answer the little one had spoken for himself so she smiled and nodded to him. He was a cute kit, all kits are cute she thought to herself, "My name is Trillatay, but you can call me Tria all my friends do, my little brother is Daisuke, as you may have heard." Daisuke got up from his book and bowed lightly to the others "What is your name?" He asked and looked from the kit to the adult wanting to know from both. Raekah "Sirius." His answer was vague as he stared out the window. The wind seemed strange but lately it had always been this way. He looked back at the Kit, but looked away again. If he didn't have anything to do with it, he shouldn't get involved. He looked over at Daisuke. Strange one.. " Learning to read? " he commented.
Leez0rz Tobias quirked brow, staring up to Sirius wondering what had caught his attention but paid no heed to it. "Tobias." His gaze shifted up to Tria then straight to Daisuke. He then looked down to the book that Daisuke was previously but made no comment towards it. Kittyintheraiyn "I'm trying but the letters just won't make words for me... I know the letters and the sounds they make but they could be just thrown randomly on the page for all I can tell." He smiled sheeplishly "But I'll get it... If I keep trying, right?"
"It's nice to meet you Sirius-san Tobias-san.""I'm sure you will Daisuke, but for now you can do something else if you want to, like play a game?" Tria's eyes went to Sirius and she wondered what was bothering him.Daisuke looked down at the page he's been trying at and sighed closing the book, Maybe later I'll ask Bi-san again, he looked up and grined at Tobias "Do you wanna play something?" Raekah Sirius turned towards Tria. " I didn't know your name was Trillatay. " He smiled, with a hint of mischief. Sirius stood up, and walked towards the kitchen. " Would anyone here like hot cocoa? It seems chilly tonight ." He looked over at Daisuke and Tobias. Leez0rz The hawk feli listened to Daisuke, slightly interested in what he was saying. Though he wasn't interested in learning how to read himself and nodded. "Pleasure to meet you." The feli quirked a brow. "And what kind of game do you have in mind?"
Tobias licked his maw. "Sounds good." His gaze shifted towards Sirius. Kittyintheraiyn It was Tria's turn to look sheepish "I guess I don't always think to introduce myself with my full name, you can call me Trillatay if you want to." She stood and began to follow, "I'll join you." Raekah " You were sick the time I met you, so I think its an exception, " Sirius stepped into the kitchen. He looked around, and looked at Tria. "Uh.. How do you make hot cocoa?" It was his turn to look sheepish. " Never made it before actually. " Kittyintheraiyn Tria giggled and hopped onto the counter "I'll make it," and began rummaging through the cupboards to find mugs and cocoa, "if you'll get the milk outta the fridge..." and bringing them to the table.
"So what's on your mind, you looked sorta distant before?" Raekah Sirius looked in the fridge, and took out the milk, hopped on the table. "Just thinking about the weather. Seems unusual is all." He eyed the cocoa powder suspicously. " What is that..?" Kittyintheraiyn "Hai, the weather, it's a been like this for such a long time now, and all I hear are rumors about why it's actually happening." Tria poured two mugs half full with milk and added a few spoonfuls of the cocoa to each cup, "this is cocoa, it's chocolate that make a really good drink when added to milk and heated" she spoke while she stired, "now we put them in the mircowave and when it's done add more milk and stir again, it's soo yummy." she managed to get both mugs into said device and started it -wrring- "My human gave it to be before..." Raekah " Ah. Cocoa powder. I thought they were made from beans though..?" Sirius looked at the powder. " My human is busy and doesn't seem to have much free time I suppose. " He looked at the microwave curiously. " A microwave is it..? I must be old-fashioned or something " He smiled wryly. But his smile turned to a frown. " I definitely know something strange is happening but I'd like to know something more then rumors."
Kittyintheraiyn "Maybe it's beans, I just know I like it," when the mic beeped Tria pulled the mugs from it and handed one to Sirius, she poured some milk into her and stired at it, "I defenatly want to know more than rumors, but no one seem to have any hard facts, even that Laes that I had the chance to question only left me with more questions..." Tria furrowed her brow just thinking on it, but took a sip and her drink and purred. "Mmmm. It's been a long time since I've spent time with my human I sorta just like it here and so, anyway I had it as a kit." Raekah Sirius poured milk into his cup, and sipped some. He let out a hiss, and flinched as the cocoa burned his tongue. " No dout they redinded do nod sip id whilde itd hod. " (No doubt they reminded to not sip it while its hot. ) He spoke while glaring at the cocoa. The matter of the strange happenings was forgotten while Sirius held a grudge against a certain cup.
Kittyintheraiyn Biting her lip Tria winced, Cats' tounge. "Are you okay?" she felt bad that she'd made it too hot and fidgited a little, there was nothing to do when one burnt their tounge you couldn't but on a bandaid or kiss it better, she steped nearer her dark friend. Raekah "I'm alright." Sirius glanced up. "Something wrong? Oh. I'm sorry. Am I bothering you?" Sirius had gotten over his burn but it still stung a little. He glanced at the cup of cocoa, still hot. " I don't think I'll be drinking too much cocoa tonight. I should be more careful next time." He looked at Tria, and apoligized. " I'm sorry. You went through all this trouble and I only got myself burned. "
Kittyintheraiyn Tria felt releaved that it he was okay and a little confused "There's nothing to apolgize for Sirius you're not bothering me at all, why would you think that? I'm sorry I made it too hot." Embarsed she steped away again and sipped from her own mug. Raekah "I should've been more careful though." He bought his mug over to the sink, and rinsed it out. " Why don't I stay with you until you finish? " he offered. But he already settled down in a seat across from her, and was quiet for a moment. " You're around alot aren't you? I remember last time we met, but that other feli we met was discussing something. Difficult I think. I can't exactly recall it.. About this weather for sure."
