Port Cephei Path of the Stars & Path of the Arcane
A thriving merchant point. Airships with white sails and boats alike call this city home. It is more technologically advanced than other cities. The town has a famous tea house filled with fortune tellers. You can buy almost anything here, and magic is rare on the surface. Underground, though, there is a Magic School that powers the entire city.

Mecca had found a new playground. The viberant port of Cephi. Thriving with all kinds of life, smells and vermin. It was truely beautiful. The backstreets especially. Shady bars for doing shadier deals nestled together made a haven for small creatures that no one would miss.
It was in these backstreets that Mecca lurked. Seeking out the shadows and whatever hid within them. It had been a very fruitful day. He had even found another small Shu to terrorize until its whimpering got boring and he gave up. Smiling to himself he made his way to the huge teahouse on sea front. He was in need of refreshment after a hard day's play.

A smile slowly spread across her lips...blue would be a much better colour...far better than green... she thought idly. Closing her eyes she reached back and released the clasp from her hair, letting the wind catch it and twirl it betweens it's fingers. Such a beautiful day.

.:Covet:.
Covet had never been to the sea before. She was captivated by the ports with their colorful array of activity, words, and smells. It was nothing she had ever experienced before. She wandered idly through the city, with no intent other than to try to see everything all at once. Following a beach side street, she happened to turn her head at just the right moment to spy a familiar red shu. She thought about running up to Mecca to cheerfully greet him, but thought better of it. Her day had been too exciting to mess with him. But she decided to follow him from a distance, just to see what he was up to and what kind of mood he was in.

[ MECCA ]
Mecca turned off the side street and out onto the waterfront. It was indeed a beautiful day. So much prey to choose from, out and about. Mecca felt quite spoiled for choice. It was then that it caught his eye. The green Shu. The one he owed such a pleasurable debt to.
Her beautiful long hair flying about her as she looked out to sea. He grinned. He knew he wasn't ready to repay her yet, but keeping her in his sights wouldn't hurt. That was the way it worked. Always keep your prey in your sights. No matter how long it takes you to stalk them.
Approaching her from behind he folded his arms and flexed his wings a little.
"Have you ever been on one of those?" He asked gesturing to one of the imposing airships that sailed above.

Dev didn't move as the Mecca approached. She was fairly decent at reading the vibes of others, and his didn't seem too malicious..not like the other day anyway. Smiling, she responded, her voice was calm, but there was a very very faint hint of excitment to it. "No... I haven't, but one day I hope to. What about you?"

.:Covet:.
Covet watched as Mecca approached the lovely Devaki. Well, regardless that Mecca was present, she was excited to see her green friend and made her way over to the two shus. She planted herself next to Devaki with a broad smile.
"Hi Devaki... Mecca," she said casting a glance over to him. "What are you doing today?" she asked brightly.

Mecca nodded. For once not fixated by her hair but by the airship. It was truely beautifu, with its white sails. Gliding so easily through the sky. Much easier than a boat through water.
"One day." He agreed imagining all of the places he could explore if he could travel on one. "Just watching them makes me restless."
Hearing Covet's voice he turned and smiled. Although he was not in a malicious mood the smile was still cold and emotionless.
"Nothing much." He shrugged turning his attention back to the airship. "You?"

Hearing a perky voice on her other side Devaki gazed over, and wasn't surprised to find Covet firmly planted in the sand with a smile on her face. "Well hello again Covet." She smiled, then gazed back up at the airship. "We're wondering what it must be like to ride in one of those.." She pointed up to the ship in the sky.

.:Covet:.
Covet followed their eyes up to the airship and she too was taken by its graceful beauty. She gave a small shudder. Heights were not her friend.
"I don't know," she shrugged. "It seems kinda scary to be so high up off the ground. Have you been down by the docks?" she asked, turning her head back to the ships rocking gently with the tides. They were more her style.
