 The white lion cub was out and about, he had not much to do and for once he hadn't heard of his sister creating trouble. He hadn't seen his younger sister or other two brothers anywhere either.
He stretched and laid out on a rock, a rock well known for his mother laying on constantly but she was off hunting so he had the rock by the water, bathing in the sun rays. His blue eyes occasionally surveying the area, oh how nice it was just being lazy!

Ezeoha had increasingly become indepedent from his family. Less time was spent with Baridi and Baakir, and more time was spent wandering around the Pridelands and flirting with every female in sight. He loved his family, truth tell, but sometimes they were just too boring. He needed excitement, entertainment, anything besides sitting around and grooming himself and others.
The young cub spotted a mainly white form up ahead, and already his eyes could tell that it was not female. Females had more curves; this one was another spritely young male, one that could be considered as competition. But, Ezeoha would have none of that. He had many female friends, but fewer male friends. It would be nice to have some more male cubs to romp with. Sometimes females were just too picky about those sort of things...
"Hello!" He called out, bounding towards the rock at the water's edge.

His head turned, blue eyes looking at the strange male. "Hello there!" He smiled looking him over before stretching his own body. He was happy enough to be able to show what his true feelings were, which were for once contentment. It was nice not to have his family around, they only annoyed him and made him feel trapped when they were around!

It was only the suspitious nature of the mocha female that caused her to follow after her younger brother. Just the night before, she had met two other pridelanders, rogue from birth the father was, who had told her about the golden cubs actions. She snorted, remembering Nukta had said how they were alike. Ezeoha and herself were NOT alike! She would get that through their heads!
Growling, she pounced silently after her brother, ears perking forward as she spotted what he saw. The white fuzzball probably way older than her even though his size held almost hte same as Baakir. Her teal blue eyes narrowed, swiftly moving next to Ezeoha's side. "Mother told us never to talk to strangers, Ez." She hissed to him, eyeing the white male.

Ezeoha was smiling, at least until Baridi showed up. The little lion's ears were pinned to his head, and he grumbled softly in annoyance with his sister. "Well, he is not a stranger. He is most certainly a Pridelander, and I've seen him before." The cub replied, giving his head a fierce nod. It was true; he had seen Mbali before, even though it was only a few glimpses of the other cub. Of course, knowing someone meant talking to them. But, that was what he was trying to do at the moment, and Baridi was trying to prevent him from meeting Mbali and making a new friend.

The youngster looked confused at the femmes words though he didn't say anything about it. "Siblings?" He guessed they were, he didn't know why they looked nothing like each other, their pelts were of opposite colours.
He licked at his paw a little, he was sure there was a thorn or something in it but oh well it would have to wait. He was meeting two more cubs before his sister scared them off.

Ezeoha wasn't the only one gaining independence. It seemed like Mosi and Jini's parents (at least their father) were (was) finally starting to accept that the Pridelands was a safe enough place to let the children wander. Mosi wasn't going horribly far anyway, she'd pleaded with Nukta to let her see if she could make some new friends or find the one or two she'd made so far.
There was Ezeoha up ahead and--! Ew.... that mean lioness cub from the other day was there too. The one that was supposedly Eze's sister.
Mosi's dark figure appeared at the top of a grass covered hill, stark white markings standing out boldly on her black hide. She didn't let the presence of Bari or the other cub she'd yet to get to know (Mbali) keep her from calling out in greeting. She had her parent's stubborn resolve and (as she saw through the eyes of a child) unshakeable courage.
"Ezeoha!"

The teal eyed female glanced at the white male. "Is he know?" She comment, snorting as she circled the other. Ah, she didn't want to bring up the rogue nonsense at the moment. She'd believe her younger brother...this time. Her ears swiveled, catching the statement from Mbali before hearing the shuffling of another. The scent was unmistakable. It was /her/.
Bari nodded towards the white male. "Yes, and if you say were are alike I swear I will claw one of your eyes out." She hissed, sitting next to her brother and glaring. ...I take it she didn't like being compared to with any of her siblings, for she acted the same way the day prior.
"Oh great," Bari growled weakly, casting her gaze on Mosi. "What are you doing here rogue." The small pridelander continued to call the black female by the nickanme she gave her.

Mosi glared at Bari, hissing softly as she neared, ears flat.
"I told you, I'm not a rogue." She verbally spat. "My name is Mosi."

The white male just stared, "I was actually going to say you dont look anything like each other..." He smiled at the black femme but then was a little ataken back by the small femmes comments. "Can you tell me that you are of pure pridelander blood then?" He let out a little snarl at the brown femme. "I dont believe there is a cub here other then those of the king and queens that are of pureblood so realistically we could all be classed as rouges." This femme was a little stuck up, well she seemed it to him. Strange lions.

Ezeoha reconginzed that voice, as fresh as the birds singing their love songs to each other. It was Mosi, his newest and most admired friend. The little cub turned around to smile brightly at his friend, but that smile died away as Bari opened her large mouth.
Ezeoha growled at his sister, voicing his displeasure. "Mosi is no rouge! She is my friend and is a member of this pride, Bari!" He snapped at his sister, and then promptly stormed away from her to sit next to Bari.
"The King and the Queen are our grandparents," Ezeoha said tolerantly, and in fact he was a little happy that everyone seemed to be displeased with his sister. Ezeoha did not get along with her often, and when she was being a brat it was nice to have more than one lion yelling at her. There were three of them, and one of her, and it was very good odds."

Bari rolled her eyes at Mosi. "I didn't ask for your name." She liked calling this one rogue, seeing as it made her mad. She smirked lightly, flicking her tail as she settled her gaze on Mbali. "G-" Her words were cut off by the white cub's snarl. Her ears pinned back, about to say what Ezeoha had, but stopped once her brother mentioned the fact. "Meaning our mother is one of the princesses here." She said, her head raised high in the air.
It was only until Bari took a good look around. Each of the other cubs seemed to be looking at her in /this/ way. She didn't like it. She didn't like it one bit... Her ears flattened against her head as she rose, stalking past Ezeoha and the rest of the group. Without looking back, the mocha female moved onwards towards the prideland borders. Who needed them...

Mosi scrunched up her face for a moment as the other female began to leave, but that wasn't what she'd come here to do, chase anyone off... She was hoping to make more friends, especially if they were relatives of her existing ones.
"I know you didn't ask for my name. I didn't ask you to call me THAT either. We could be friends if you'd just be a little nicer about it."
Perhaps not the best wording, but from Mosi's standpoint the problem lay in Bari's behavior, not in her own pride.

Mbali chuckled a bit, "But unless your to say your father is her brother I would have to say he was some sort of rouge." He smiled, that femme needed to get her ideas sorted though he would love to see her and his sister meet. That would definatly be interesting.
As she left he tured to the other two and bowed his head. "I dont believe I introduced myself, I am Mbali brother of annoying brats." He smiled and looked at the the two infront, occasionally looking to see where the other femme was going.

Ezeoha stared onward as his sister took her leave of them. Flickering in her eyes was a very acute annoyance held only for his sibling. She always came around to ruin his fun, and there was never a time when she was around that he could have a good time. When they were younger things were easier. He could wrestle with her and they'd have a great time. But now they were older, and just could no longer get along like they did in the older days.
"I am Ezeoha, son of Rehani and Denahi," he replied to the other cub, his chest seeming to swell with pride at his heritage. Ezeoha was making quick work of forgetting that his sister had ever even been here to stir up some trouble.
