Ra stepped out of the dorms cautiously, his soccer boots in one hand and his ball under his arm. It was yet another hot spring day. The sun beat down on the campus providing the perfect weather for the many students lougning around in the hope of colouring up their pasty winter skin.
Ra's caution was not due to the fact that he was doing anything wrong, it was more to do with his attire. He had decided to be realistic, it was much too hot to wear tracksuit bottoms and long sleeved t-shits. So he decided to be brave.
He was wearing his Iran soccer kit...including shorts. (gasp) Yes for the first time in several years he was actually dressed properly to play his favourite sport. As he crossed the campus to the soccer field he forced his mind away from the graze like, silver scars that ran down his right leg. He knew it wasn't technically a training day for the soccer club but he figured he should ease himself in gently.
Reaching the edge of the large grassy pitch he took off hi trainers and laced his boots up. Tapping the ball a few meters away from him he stretched out his muscles before begining warm ups, running to the ball, touching it and running back to his trainers.

Kayne left his dorm room with a bounce in his step. He had tried to convince Cirrus to come along for a jog, but the lazy bum wanted to stay holed up in her room sleeping the day away. He couldn't stand to waste such a perfect day on the dorms, so he had quickly gotten dressed in his old high school tack shorts and threw on an old t-shirt. His keen silver eyes swept the school lawns and took in the various activities the other students were participating in. None of them really caught his interest.
After doing a few quick warm up stretches, Kayne took off at a leisurely jog. He wasn't really in any hurry today and had no particular destination in mind. He had just couldn't stand being cooped up indoors any longer. He was one who needed fresh air and loads of room to breath. Allowing his feet to lead him as he lost himself to his thoughts, he came across the school's soccer field. He stopped on the edge to catch his breath, putting his hands on his hips, as he watched a solitary fellow student doing warm ups. He began to smile as he watched the other boy's experienced warm up. A fellow athlete who couldn't be found wasting the day away doing nothing. Slowly following the edge of the pitch, he came to a stop a short distance from some shoes, who he assumed belonged to the fellow athlete.
"Hel'o," he greeted him cheerfully in his mild Irish accent, and giving a short wave as he drew nearer.

Ra was almost done with his laps between the ball and his shoes. Jogging at a good pace to get his muscles warmed and his heart rate up. He had just touched the plastic coating of his ball when he heard the voice. Straightening up he jogged back to his shoes and the ginger haired boy.
"Hey." He said, stopping and brushing his black hair from his eyes. He looked over the boy's similar clothing and smiled. "Do you play?" He asked gesturing to the ball that lay close to the center of the field.

"Are you kidding?" Kayne said giving him a broad smile. "Are you on the team here?" he asked, eyeing the other boy's professional looking attire and glancing over at the soccer ball. He had only had time to scout the fields and track and use them for his own personal amusement so far. But hopefully this other young man could point him in the right direction to joining some teams.

Ra raised an eyebrow.
"I was serious." He said missing the point of the phrase. He ginned and shrugged.
" Think I signed up to be on the team. I used to be, at my old school." He smirked. "I'd forget my head if it wasn't screwed on.
Looking out the the large, empty field he sighed.
"So do you want to join me for a kick around? It gets a bit dull on your own after a while."

Kayne gave him an odd look when he took his rhetorical question seriously. Man... this kid needs a sense of humor, he thought to himself. At his vague answer on whether he was on the team or not, Kayne gave a small shrug. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. He knew for sure he would be.
"Sure thing," Kayne smiled. "I'm Kayne by the way," he said holding his hand out to the other boy.

Ra noted the odd look but ignored it. He couldn't possibly think what he had done to warrent such a look in the first place. Inwardly he shrugged. What did it matter, he had someone to kick the ball around with.
"I'm Rashne." He said shaking the boy's hand firmly. "Most people call me Ra though. Nice to meet you."
Giving another smile he jogged over to the ball dribbled it out to the middle of the pitch and booted it back towards Kayne.

"Nice to meet you to Ra," Kayne replied, giving him his own firm handshake. Kayne watched Ra dribble the ball and a large grin spread across his face as he watched the ball fly towards him. Jogging a couple of steps towards it, he prepared for that satisfactory thud against the side of his foot. When it came he watched the ball fly directly towards Ra. It had been a while since he had last officially played soccer, but he had only quit because he had to make the choice between it and track in high school. He had forgotten how satisfying it could feel. He studied Ra as he waited for the return volley. He must be middle eastern, he thought, judging his appearance, accent, name, and jersey. Maybe if he was as dedicated to sports as he found himself to be, they'd be running into each other more often

Ra caught the ball with his knee and trapped it with his foot at it hit the ground.
"O.k one on one. We'll use that goal!" He called pointing to the goal closer to them. Kicking the ball up onto his knees he bounced it a few times swapping from one knee to the other. "First one to five has to buy juice or something after." He grinned and booted the ball as hard as he could. Giving chase almost immedietly.

Kayne laughed as Ra took off down the field having barely given him enough time to react. He took off at full speed after him.
After half an hour had passed, Kayne knew he had met his match. As they had decided to keep playing after each win, the score now stood at Kayne two and Ra one. After the third round and Ra's final win, Kayne bent down putting his hands on his knees, catching his breath.
"Whew... That was fun," he smiled happily at him. "I guess drinks are on me," he laughed, straightening up and slapping a friendly hand on Ra's back. "Let's head on back," he said turning to walk back towards the school.

"Well played." Ra grinned as they made their way back towards the school and the canteen. Changing his shoes back on the way. That had been the first time he had the chance to play soccer since his arrival at the school. He had been chicken about joining the school team after his experiences in London, but after playing with Kayne he decided it might be fun. People were different here afterall.
"There's a couple of vending machine's over here." He said pointing to the courtyard area. "Where are you from?" He asked dumping his ball and boots on one of the benches. "Your accent sounds familiar."

"Well played." Ra grinned as they made their way back towards the school and the canteen. Changing his shoes back on the way. "I grew up in Galway, Ireland till I was eight and just now from Amercia. I'd give anything to go back to the emerald isle though. I can't say I like America very much," Kayne replied amiably. "Have you been to Ireland then?" he asked, digging in his pocket for his wallet. He pulled out a 500 yen piece as they approached the vending machines. It amused Kayne to no end the amount of vending machines that could be found here in Japan.

Sora yawned as he strolled up the walk. Keeping Ladies and some Gents occupied all night was quite tireing! The poor youth had yet to get anymore than an hours nap of sleep. He licked his lips and felt a bit parched, knowing there were vending machines up ahead.
As he approached he noticed two males, and another on it's way. He chuckled a bit, looking them over with curious eyes. Well well, quite the lookers that fine morning. Seemed he came up at the right moment. Heh.
He continued to get closer, smiling as he did so. "Afternoon!" He called out as he came up behind one of them. "Seems everyone is after a drink."

Ra nodded when Kayne mentioned Ireland. That was it.
"I've never been to Ireland." He said sitting on the bench. "I lived in the London for three years before I came here. There were a couple of Irish guys at my school."
He placed the ball and his football boots on the floor and leaned on the bench. "Never been to America either. My Aunt lives in Chicago though."
He turned his head as another person joined them. A grin crossed his face as he saw a familiar face.
"Hey Sora. Want to join us?" He said gesturing to the bench.

Kayne slipped his coin into the machine and glanced over his shoulder as Ra greeted another boy. Sora? That was an odd name, Kayne thought to himself as he hit the button under the drink he wanted.
"Time for you to pick Ra," he said, bending down to grab his drink out of the machine. He straightened up and gave Sora a once over with his silver eyes. "The name's Kayne," he said giving the other young man a big smile and his hand.

He hadn't noticed Ra at first, but when he did he pretty much b-lined it right to the other male. Arms were wrapped around Ra in a bear hug as Sora kissed his cheek lightly. "It's been awhile Ra! How is Chii doing? I haven't seen her in a few days. Then again a few people have had me busy."
It was almost cute as while he started idol chit chat he sat besides Ra and kicked his legs up and over Ra's, his arms happily going around Ra's shoulders. But there was a pause as he tipped his head back and blinked at Kayne. "Oooooh? New friend Ra-ra?"
He grinned at the other. "It's nice to meet you Kayne. I'm Sorakai. Mind getting me an apple juice? Let me fish the money out of my pocket..." He reached in to do just that.

Ra knew the moment he saw the extrovert asian boy that he was in for a Sora attack. It was best to just let these things happen. He was far too polite to tell Sora to get off though he probably wouldn't take offense if he did.

Kayne gave Sora the same odd look he had given Ra earlier. He had meant to shake hands with him, not get him a drink... not that he minded. He waved off Sora's offer to pay and punched the buttons for green tea and apple juice. He bent down to grab the drinks and handed them out to their respective owners. He thought Sora's show of affection to Ra was a little odd but didn't really think much of it as he sat down on Sora's other side, leaning over on his knees so he could see both boys.
"Where are you two from?" he asked amiably.

Sora blinked at Ra's request but smiled and pat his head before moving off his lap to sit between the other two. "I see... Chii already reserved the spot! I'm heartbroken." Much like Ra figured, he took no offense to it.
"Thank you." he said as Kayne gave him the drink, offering his pocket change to Kayne afterwords. "And I'm from Thailand. I forgot where Ra is from... But what about yourself?"

"Cheers." Ra said taking the bottle of tea and placing it on the table. He smiled in thanks at Sora as he vacated his lap. Ra didn't know that Sora came from Thailand, or if he did he had forgotten. That was interesting.
"Uh. I'm from Iran." He replied picking up the bottle and unscrewing the lid.

Kayne smiled at Sora as he opened his drink and took a swing of it. "I'm originally from Ireland, but recently from America," he replied. Thailand and Iran. He had noticed a wide range of nationalities and he found that highly interesting, having always been around the same ethnic groups most of his life. Kayne caught Sora's mention of what sounded like a girl's name for the second time.
"So you've got a girlfriend then Ra?" he asked, smiling inwardly. "What about you Sora?"

He frowned at the bottle, but after a moment of fighting with it managed to get the top snapped off. "But don't worry Ra, I won't steal her away. There's many more fish in the sea as they say it. Whoever they are..."
The bottle was lifted to his lips and he took a few gulps, wiping at the bit that dribbled down his chin. "Mmm. Apples." Laughing a bit he looked at Kayne again and shook his head. "I don'thave one yet. Nor a boyfriend. I'll be flat out I'm attracted to anyone worth my while be it male or female. Are you interested? You're quite cute yourself. Then again..."

Israel? Wasn't that a country? he thought to himself as he took another sip from his drink. Nah... must be a girl, he concluded by Ra's answer. He smiled at Ra's teasing as he took another sip.

Sora had been taking another sip of his juice, choking a bit on it. "C-collection?" he asked sounding a bit shocked. What the hell was that!? Raising an eyebrow he reached up to his hair. "She didn't cut off a chunk of my hair or something right? Geeze... That's the last time I sleep with her." The comment came out too easily that he completely missed the implications that left.
"Anyway.. what were you two going to do after this?" He asked as he took a glance between the two.

He raised his eyebrows, now he knew Sora had been asleep when she drew him, she had said as much. He hadn't even thought that they might have been up to more...but then this was Sora, and there was her joke at his embarassing English slip up. "So you two...?" He didn't need to finish the sentence, it was obvious what he was implying.

Sounded like this Israel girl was pretty loose for Sora to so casually bring up them sleeping together. He definitely needed to keep Cirrus away from him. As long as he stayed away from his sister, Sora was alright.
Kayne shrugged as well. "I really didn't have too much on my agenda for today. I just got sick of being in the dorm listening to my sister's snoring," he smiled.

There was a moment of silence as Sorakai thought over what he said then yelped. "NO! No nonononono! Ra!" He blushed a bit. "I didn't... ya know with her. We just shared the bed is all. I swear it. I would never do something so..." he paused to think of the word. "...Ah... I cannot find the word I want to use." he looked disappointed in himself as he scratched at the side of his head.
"You know I'm not like that. I'm very gentlemanly even if a bit unique. I rescued Scarlett from the bathroom after all, and carried her all the way back to her dorm. Though I should visit her and make sure she is alright, if I can find her dorm again.... Though... with Issy... I haven't, but just because I haven't doesn't mean I didn't think it." He winked.
