Mushdad actually exists in the form of an Event Monster in jMS.
I think the event is actually over by now, but still, he exists.

Actually, if you compare Mushmom and Mushdad (who appeared as an event monster with some like.. Thunder, Fire, and Silver slimes), they're all simple palette-swaps of the original monster.

Mushdad is Mushmom, with a blue cap. Other than that, it's the same exact sprite.

<_< and to make it easier on myself, I just used a palette swap as well.
