hiyas! i love InuYasha, so i decided to write a InuYasha fanfic. so plz read and review! this is my second one. i'll post my first one later. i hope you guys like it! ^^

Chapter 1: Depression?

She burst into tears, sobbing loudl. Letting out all of the emotions that she had been keeping in. She didn't understand why she was crying, it had been months after her parents' divorce, but she let it all out, all of her emotions came pouring out like her tears, she tryed to control herself but no use. She loved her mother more than her father, why did she cry like this? She was missing her father dearly, but it wasn't just that. Something else was bothering her, she wasn't sure what. She sat alone in the house, crying her eyes out. This girl, Kagome, hadn't cried like this forever, even when she found out about her parents' divorce she hadn't cried so hard. Why now?

"Tadaima!" called Mrs. Higurashi as she walked in.

"Ogairi!" Kagome called back from the living room, her voice sounding bored.

"Oh, Kagome. I bought you a really cute outfit," Mrs. Higurashi said, showing Kagome a bag of clothes.

Kagome didn't let her eyes leave the TV, she just nodded and said. "Thanks, could you please put that on my bed."

"Oh. Yes of course honey," her cheerful voice imediatly changed to a disappointed one.

"Hey sis! I got a new video game. Will it be alright if I use the TV?" Souta asked as he pulled out his game.

"Sure," she replied as she got up, ruffling his hair as she went pass him.

Her mother was coming down just as she was heading up stairs.

"Kagome dear, I put your new clothes in your closet," Mrs. Higurashi said. "I hope you like it."

Kagome just nodded and continued on her way to her room. She plopped down on her bed and looked around the room. Imediatly the picture of herself and her father caught her eye. She picked it up gently, brushing her fingertips against the glass. It showed a young Kagome sitting on the shoulders of a man, the two of them had bright smiles on their faces. It was Kagome's favorite picture of her dad and her.

"Oh, daddy, why did you have to leave?" Kagome whispered. She could still remember the day clearly when she found out about her parents' divorce... Her parents sat her down and had a long talk about it. She nodded as if she understood. She thought she could bear it, it wasn't as if her father was moving to another country. Or so she thought. But at the end of the conversation her father told her that he would be moving to America, leaving the family behind, living a new life. She continued her nodding, pretending that everything was alright when it wasn't. Her father left the week after. That night when Kagome returned home from seeing her father off she collapsed into her mother's arms crying. They had a mother daughter time, then that was it, there was no more talk about the divorce.

"Summer's about to end daddy. Tomorrow's the last day of summer break. Then I'll be a junior in high school. You would probably say: 'Pull yourself together! And go make some friends!' Well daddy, nobody wants to be my friend, all the girls hate me. My old ones abandoned me, they said I suck the fun out of everthing, they said I'm depressing. But I guess it's true... Good night daddy," Kagome said. Before putting the picture back she kissed it gently, smiling sadly she put it back, face down.

"Mom! There is no way I'm wearing this!" Kagome yelled as she stormed down stairs. "You know very well that I would never wear this!" she held the new clothing her mother bought her the other day.

"Kagome, you are always wearing ugly clothing, you should dress up like you used to,"

Here it comes. thought Kagome.

"Ever since your father's and my divorce you haven't dressed normaly," Mrs. Higurashi said, obviously hurt and sad.

"Mom, this has nothing to do with dad." Kagome said, imediatly.

"Kagome, don't deny it. You know very well that it is," her voice was showing sadness more and more.

Not wanting to hurt her mother's feelings she gave in. "OK, fine mom. I'll wear this to the ceromony, but only this time. For you."

"Great! Let me do your hair and make up!" Mrs. Higurashi exclaimed cheerfully.

Kagome wanted to protest against it, but seeing her mother happy like htis she decided against it. "Fine." Her high school was having a back to school bash for all the students that would be attending the new school year.

"I don't even know why I have to go. It's not like I have any friends to see or any classmates to talk to," Kagome said.

"I know honey, but it's a perfect oportunity for you to make new friends," Mrs. Higurashi said as she combed Kagome's long hair.

"Ugh, here comes that agian. Nobody will want to make friends with me," she said, rolling her eyes.

"Please don't do that when I'm putting the eye shadow on," Mrs. Higurashi said as she applied a really thin coat of blush on Kagome's cheeks. But Kagome only rolled her eyes again. Mrs. Higurashi chuckled and finished up her work. "All done."

Kagome stood up and looked in her mother's full length mirror. What reflected back amazed her. She had a faint gray blue eyes shadow so you could barely see it. A little blush. Pink glitter lip gloss. A dark blue shirt that showed her shoulders. A matching school uniform stlye dark blue mini skirt that wasn't too short, with a purple lining for the bottom. Light blue gloves that have rings for the middle finger because it's fingerless, and they only go up to the elbows. Black, yet to be put on strappy dress shoes. Her hair of course was let to fall loosely around her shoulders.

"Well? What do you think of my wonderful work?" Mrs. Higurashi asked proudly.

"You're amazing mom," Kagome said with a big smile on her face. She forgot about trying to pretend that she didn't like it. How could she when she loved how she looked.

"Here, take this and you'll be ready to go," Mrs. Higurashi said, handing a matching mini bag to Kagome which had a "K" on the side. "It has a camera and some other stuff you might need."

"Thanks mom," Kagome said.

"I'll drive you. Call me if you want me to pick you up. Hopefully you'll meet somebody that will be a nice friends and take you home. So don't disapoint me," Mrs, Higurashi said as she got the car keys.

"I don't understand why I can't just drive myself," Kagome mummbled to nobody partcularly.

"To the mom-mobile!" Mrs. Higurashi said, pointing out the door.

"Kill me," Kagome said as her brother fell off the couch laughing at his mother's lameness.

"Bye, have fun," Mrs. Higurashi said as Kagome hopped out the car.

"Anything is better than sitting in that car and listening to you singing to the radio," Kagome mummbled crossly.

"Did you say something honey?" Mrs. Higurashi asked.

"No, nothing. Bye," Kagome said and headed toward the school building. Maybe I'll get lucky and nobody will reconize me

heh, um not really. i don't know what happened to her dad, i just made it up. the stuff in my fic has no relation to the anime series. i'm glad you like it.
it's quite odd but, i have fans for my fanfic. at this forum i go to the ppl there that read my fanfic are fans of it. ^^

it was great except kagome is only in middle school.... but otherwise this was pretty cool where is inuyasha though?

Its cool 3nodding some grammar errors though...

grammar errors have nothing to do with the story, or what the story was about, but i was brought up to correct spelling errors when i see them, so as i cant fix them, i just stated that there are some errors in the story

And yes i do make them myself, you can see them in this post too...
