Welcome to The WSTT:

Welcome to a newly opened area, the Wild Sigponi Taming Terrain (WSTT, sometimes pronounced "West"). Not all Sigponis are found as babies and brought to the complex to be adopted out. Some continue growing up on their own throughout the wilder regions of Gaia and the Nexus.

However, the more Sigponis that were captured and who took up owners, the more the wild Sigponis who didn't have that fate became curious. Unrest among the wilds has become enough that Vahyla decided to do something about it.

She put notice throught Gaia and the Nexus for any Sigponis who were currently wild but thought they might like to try being owned to come to the Wild Sigponi Taming Terrain.

This is where you come in.

Anyone with a stable is allowed to try capturing and taming a wild Sigponi they find here. How? Continue reading. ^_^

Available Wilds

NOTICE: As of July ('06), a limit of two wilds per month will be in place!
Also remember your stables MUST BE up-to-date BEFORE you tame a Wild.

(randomize a number 1-250, 50 or 150 wins/tames)

(roll 1, 100-sided di, 44 wins/tames)

Questions for the Ages:

Q: Does this cost anything?
Only participation in the guild and a home for your Sigponis. heart This is one of my ways of thanking customers.

Q: Can they "stat" race?
Sure can! Unless they have edits. Just like customs with lineart edits and augments, that would affect stats, and I don't want to deal with it. Sorry.

Q: Can they breed?
Certainly! They're even already listed in the pricing post in the shop.

Q: I got the number, but I kinda messed up on my rolling/number generating... does it count?
Sorry, no. Probability changes depending on number of dice, type of dice, and how many numbers you've pumped into the generator. You have to stick to what's written for it to count.

Q: Can I switch who I'm trying to tame?
As much as you like. Just remember you can only tame one wild per day... (taming a wild but not claiming it by PMing Vees Girl doesn't count towards your one per day, you can still roll after that, until you PM the account... if you do at all)

Q: I rolled winning numbers for two different Ponis in the same day. Can I claim them both?
No. >_>

Q: Even if I wait to PM you about the second until tomorrow?
Yes, even if you wait. You may get more than one winning number in a day, but you may only claim one of them. Numbers must be rolled/generated on different days.

Why? So you can't just spend one whole day rolling numbers, possibly get them for multiple Sigponis, and send PMs throughout the week. I want everyone to have the opportunity to tame a wild. heart

Q: I see some co-owned Sigponis running around. Can we co-own wilds?
No, I really don't see wilds trusting more than one owner to help them make decisions in this new, confusing realm they've entered.

Q: May we gift them?
It may seem contradictory to the above statement, but yes. Keep two things in mind: you still can't co-own with them and, most importantly, that person HAS to have a thread set up. That's the rule to participate in the wild section. Can't get around it by having someone else do it for you. xd

Q: May we sell them?
Please don't. ;_;

Q: I don't really have time to do this. Can I get someone else to roll dice for me?
Yes, but they must be eligible to participate in the WSTT in the first place and you have to be eligible to participate yourself, of course.

Q: May I tame flitters and Ponis in one day?
Yes. You may tame one flitter -and- one Poni in a day. This does not mean you may tame two flitters or two Ponis, though. One of each.

Q: Is there a limit to how many wilds I can tame?
Yes and No.
As of July, 2006 a limit of two wilds per month shall be in place.
Up until this point there is/was no limit.

Q: Someone gifted me a Wild. Does that count towards my limit or theirs?
I put a limit on so more people could have chances at getting wilds... so, it counts towards yours (the person gifted to).

Otherwise, I could run into issues with three different people taming Ponis and all giving them to X person (for example) and still have just a few people getting wild Ponis. @_@

I have no issue with person X taming howevermany Ponis and gifting them to lots of different people (as long as they're allowed to participate in the WSTT, of course).

I would like to thank whoever created the Spirit GBA game for the idea of "taming" (and Lessa for giving the game to me).

And, more importantly, I would like to thank ChibiPoet for passing along a great idea. Her Easter event idea inspired the dice/random numbers thing and without it, I probably would have floundered around for much longer figuring out how to do this!

Apparently, she found the idea at Elemental Unicorns, as that's how they give out their wilds. Crazy. xd

If it weren't for that, goodness knows you all might have ended up having to roleplay, and who wants to judge that? Not me. lol

And I want to say thank you to all my great, active customers. This is for those of you who don't purchase and run, afterall! heart
