Er.... I have a pocket trumpet; I pray that's not the only trumpet you have. Pocket trumpets are normally out of tune, often slow in the keys, have an irritating way of being held, are extremely hard to keep un-damaged, and are only to be used, really, when you need to practice on the road, but don't have much room for a full trumpet. Then you should use one; not for regular use. Ever.

DarkDaigoro o_o where have I been all this time??? I havent even heared of such a thing!! OMG Im sad... Don't be; alot of people don't know of them. I awed my entire band when I brought mine to school one day, out of over eighty people, only two knew what it was, that those were the directors. -_-'

For those who don't know the cuteness of pocket trumpets- I love pocket trumpets, although I am a flute player. I went to Honor Band recently, and one of the conductors for us had to help the trumpets with their piece, so he used his pocket trumpet. Pockets are much smaller than in the picture, though.

I once played a pocket trumpet and didn't like it as the tuning was very inconsistent.
I have played a slide trumpet though, and that was very fun to play, even though it required a bit of mucking around with positioning. It was great fun to play and I am still trying to save up for one.

My friend might be getting a pocket trumpet. His dad also has a trumpet that only has two valves, and you have to pull one of the slides out to make up for the third, I dunno how he got that, though.

The trumpet leader in my band has a pocket. It was kinda funny cause the other day in band he was gonna play w/ it, but our director said "No, its out of tune to much." He got all sad and had to go to his car to get his normal trumpet.
