PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD

Welcome to the training Grounds. Here you will learn to RP and understand what to do when you RP. If you don't know what RP stands for than you need even more training. RP stands for Role Playing. That is the reason why you have joined this guild. Its to role play as a created character and interact with other people. Remember, you you are RPing, you're suppose to have fun. That's the whole point of it. Try not to take everything so serious.

It's also good to be literate. I don't expect you to spell out everything correctly, but its good to make sure that your sentences are understandable. Remember to use commas and periods in your sentences and paragraphs. They're on your keyboard for a reason.

Act Out Your Character

One of the first things you might want to do when role-playing is to introduce your character. Not introduce like an actually introduction, but a way for us to get to know your character.

It's good to express your character's personality in everyone of your post, especially when interacting with other characters. If your character is suppose to be a certain type of person, lets say cocky, then you should have your character act cocky sometimes or most of the time. If your character is pushy, show it. If your character is shy, make them act it.

The best way to role-play your character is to think and act like them. This way it could be easier for you to express them when role-playing.

Speaking/Chatting Interactivity

When speaking to someone it's always good to be able to let them know you're speaking to them. A good, probably the best way, of doing it is to use qoutes. If you don't know what qoutes are, read a book. When chatting with someone remember to act out your character. You should speak the way your character would talk with someone.

Example
"Yo, sup, Cross? How's it going?"

Acting

When acting it's best to let people know that you are acting. There are different ways to show that you are acting. Such as the astericks (*). Other useful things to use are the dash/minus (-), or this symbol (~), or just use a certain color..

Remember to always act with the environment too. Such as if you're outside, let the reader know you are. If you're walking around the hallways, let them know you are.

Example 1
*Prophecy just droved into the parking lot. He gets out the car and heads straight into the building.*

Example 2
-Prophecy enters the building and walks through the hallways. He heads straight to the GM's office.-

Example 3
~Prophecy knocks on the General Manager's office door. He opens it and steps in to speak with the GM.~

Example 4
After speaking with the General Manager Prophecy leaves the office and heads to the ring.
