The Man From Neflheim
It was raining. Tuesday, October 25. Lloyd was out to find Colette, who was lost in the city. It began to rain harder. It has been hours since Lloyd left."I'm going." said Presea."No, you can't." said Genis. Everyone in the hotel was surprised by Genis' action. Usually, he was quiet with Presea, now he was serious."Genis, do you want to come with me?" she asked. Genis walked over and kissed her on the cheek and said,"This is a man's job." He ran into the rain and headed for the city. Presea ran to the closet and took her mother's worn poncho."Presea, you can't go after him." said Raine."Yes, I can. It's my job to protect Genis." she said. Presea ran into the rain to follow Genis. It began to rain even more. She had to hold it to keep it from flying. As she wandered through the forests, she saw someone on the floor."Are you alright?" she said. The person turned around."Presea?" he questioned. Presea ran her hand through his hair. It was Genis. He was injuried by someone."Presea, watch out for a guy in black." he said. Presea noticed a black man come."That's him?" she asked. Genis nodded slowly. The man noticed a tear drip from Presea's face. She threw her ponch onto the ground. Presea drew her axe and dagger and said,"Get ready!"
Failure
Presea was ready to kill him. After what she's seen, this man is in deep trouble."You are going to pay for this!" she called. The man suddenly appeared infront of Presea. Quickly, she swiped the gun out of his hand. He took another, but Presea grabbed it as well."Any last words?" she asked."No." he said. He took out a cross bow, and fired. Presea was too slow, and was hit in the arm, dropping the gun. She took the arrow out, but was knocked down onto the mud. She reached for her axe, but it was destroyed. She rolled over to dodge his foot, and stabbed him in the back. Everything stopped. She left the dagger there, and sat down to rest."Did you honestly think that a little knife could kill me?" he asked. Presea got up. He pointed a strange looking gun at her and fired. Presea put her hand where she had been shot to control the bleeding."I will kill you." she said faintly."That's what you think!" said the man. He stared at her, then left. Presea began to get dizzy."Blood loss is causing drowziness." she said."Lloyd, I'm sorry." she prayed. After a few minutes of pain, she has lost consciousness.
Recovery Somewhere Else
Presea began to feel again. She didn't know whether it was safe or not to get up. When she opened her eyes, everything was blurry. When she got it together, people were surrounding her. Presea was in a barn, with Genis. She got up only to find more people come in. They began saying things like,"Wow, I wonder what her mother looks like!" Presea didn't know that these were comments."Uhm, I don't have a mother. She died." she said. Presea held back on crying."Oh, you poor dear! What about your father? Is he strong?" one asked. Presea turned away from everyone and said,"Dad was very strong, brave, caring. He thought of me as his crown jewel." Tears began to come, but Presea wiped them away. The people noticed this."It's just too bad, he died." she said. Genis walked over to her."Presea. Never think that your alone, because I'm with you." said Genis."Everyone's with you." he said. Presea turned to face him. Genis noticed how "shiny" her eyes were. A second later, they found themselves in each other's arms. The people "awed" as Genis and PResea embraced."Genis, your right. Let's go." she said. Genis nodded."Take care you two!" said the people. As the two walked, Presea said,"Genis, we should go to Pettleburg." Genis looked puzzled. Presea lead him to the top of a hill. Genis was surprised to see an industrialized city liked this one."Let's go, Presea!" said Genis. The two held hands and walked to Pettleburg.
Pettleburg
As the two walked through the entrance, Presea paused. She had just seen a strange yellow figure fly right through the sky."What is it?" asked Genis in a hyper attitude. Presea shook her head, and continued. There was more people staring at them now since they were holding hands. Presea didn't mind, but when she saw Genis' face, it was glowing red. Presea stared up into the sky and saw a yellow figure headed straight for her."What are you doing here, Amy?" asked the creature."I am not Amy." replied Presea. The creature stopped glowing yellow, and became blue. Eight jems fell to the ground when it did this."You two don't look so good. Come with me!" it said. It grabbed Presea's hand, which was holding Genis'."Now hold hands." it said. It picked one of the jems and squeezed it."Chaos Control!" it yelled. A strange looking aura surrounded them, then they all appeared infront of a mansion."You, live here?" asked Presea. It only nodded, then dashed through the doors at light speed."He must have had a lot sugar." commented Genis."Hey everyone! Come here!" it called. People gathered around the three."I have never seen such a nice hair style." said a lady. The blue creature reached out with is hand and said,"Hi! I'm Sonic!" Presea shook hands with him and said,"I-I'm Presea. Presea Combatir." Genis shook hands as well."People call me Genis Sage." he said. An odd looking plane came in."I'll be back!" said Sonic. A rabbit in a dress came out and greeted Presea and Genis."Hello. Pleased to meet you, Presea." it said."Ditto." said Genis."I'm Cream. I live here. Please come inside." she said. Genis and Presea stared at each other, then followed Cream inside.
Remembering The Past
Cream led Presea and Genis to an elevator. She explained the way the mansion was set up. As she began to talk about each floor, she noticed Presea holding something shiny."Is that a ring? Sonic's looking for one." she said."No, this isn't a ring. It's my mom's locket." she said calmly. Genis was startled to hear this."My dad said he always kept it on, so I will do the same." she said."Don't you have anything to remember your father by?" asked Genis."I have their rings when they were married, and dad's golden bracelet. I will never take it off." she said. Presea took off her gloves to she them her parents' wedding rings and her father's bracelet."They are so beautiful." commented Cream."That's a very nice bracelet!" pointed out Genis. Presea nodded as she opened the locket. Genis and Cream her by her sides looking."Wow, your parents look like models!" said Cream."Yeah, your dad looks so muscular!" said Genis. The elevator came down, and they went inside."Presea, here" said Genis."Why are you giving me this?" she asked."You can have it. I can finally let it go." he replied. As Genis took Presea's hand placed the ring there, Cream was on the side watching it all."Genis. I have something for you, too." she replied. Genis watched her take out a Diamond, in mint condition."This was my grandfather's, but you can have it." she said. Genis took her in and embraced. Cream was still watching this happen."That's so sweet." she said. They reached a floor where Presea spotted a familiar figure on a chair, reading a book."Genis! Look!" she said. Genis ran to the figure in the chair. After a couple of seconds, the two embraced. Suddenly, there was an explosion on the roof. Cream turned to warn Presea about an evil man, but she was already in the elevator. As soon as the doors opened, Presea ran out with her dagger and axe."Stop this madness!" she called. A strange looking device came to her. Then, a claw sprouted from it, and grabbed Presea."Ah! How sweet revenge can be!" said whoever was inside. The claw threw her, but she was fine when she landed. She picked up her axe, and attacked. Suddenly, a red robot with skinny legs and a gun for a hand appeared. It fired a shot at Presea's hand, which knocked her axe out of her hands. She glanced at the wound in her hand. It wasn't very bad. When Presea looked up, she saw a hand point to a figure."Fire!" said the man again."Stop!" Presea said as she shielded the figure from the shot."Amy?!" said a familiar voice."I am not Amy." she replied. Presea dropped to her knees, and kept one hand to the ground, the other holding her wound."Gah, my plan is screwed! Time to initiate Plan B!" said the man. Four other robots appeared, and they all looked the same."Get out of here." said the voice. Presea only nodded, and limped back to the elevator. A robot cut her off, and knocked her out."No!" said the voice. Presea began to see everything get blurry. She was in extreme pain from the shot. The next second, she noticed her axe a foot away. When her vision inproved a bit, she saw Sonic. He was wounded, and all of the robots pointed rifles at him!"I, can't let him die!"
