(For anyone to hop in on <33 )
Spring- was it really true that it had come? Somewhere amongst all the green, a long and lean frame of an earthen colored female was skirting through the woods. Had it been the ice which had oppressed her? Or was it something more? But all at once she suddenly felt free, and she was skittering wildly about in the first expression of youthfulness she had shown since she had entered the woods. She really was not an old creature- she was just barely a year and a half. The weight of life had somehow seemed to crush her. But now she was lighted again in the spring season. The season made for young wolves to run around and be fools, and she was eagerly partaking in it.
With a hopping run Cassidy moved down past an old and crushed log. She was off alongside the river now- but it was not her turn for patrol shift. She ran quite a bit until it lead her towards the mouth of a small pool- for which, without apprehension, she leapt in and attempted to cool the fluttering of life in her.
She surfaced from the water and snorted, a small plume of water droplets expelling from her nose and she bobbed in the waters. Cool down, She thought to herself. Her mother had said that once before, and finally she was starting to realize the reasons why.
Too young to feel such pain... now was a different time.

((Since this has been up/open for some time, I'm assuming it's still before Loki arrived in Phib's lands, xD))
Spring personified was out and about this day. She'd seen her nieces and nephews growing into fine young adults who were ready to be taught the ways of the hunt now already, it seemed. Sometimes Suzaku wondered if she had any blood related kin out there, by the only brother she could truely remember, but somehow she doubted it. Somehow she had it in her mind that he must've died or moved on by now, or they'd probably have been together at some point she could recall, right?
Memories of the proud male she'd left behind also coursed through her at this time, this season of new life and young love. Did Ronan ever think of her the way that she thought of him?
As she waited there patiently to be welcomed or rejected, Suzaku's thoughts began to turn again.
Suzaku had wandered into these lands some short time ago, curious when she learned from Hige that another pack had apparently made home due west of them. She wandered in near the Northern part of the lands, stopping at the border to howl and call ahead. Was it alright for her to enter here?

Cassidy wheezed as she took in another breath, the water fiddling around her whiskers like fingers. Never before in the north had it even been fathomable to swim like this. Always far too cold, and water too scarce or frozen... but here, it was light and it coursed around her in warmth. The warmth! Had she not even begun to proclaim her love to it! It was so foreign and nice that she nearly let herself sink too far into the cool waters. It was too much for her really, these changes of this past year. From war to peace, from childhood to adulthood- she had felt so lost in her mother's shadow, but now she felt as though she had almost become her at another time. She was light again, and hoped that this was the start of better times.
She paddled back and forth a few times, making her own amusement. She hid well her young age, and with no one looking she began to laugh and bite at the ripples. But her childish enjoyment quickly fell away as a scent lingered on the wind. She stopped slowly and bobbed in the water, her fur plastered to her skin with wet weight, and cautiously she paddled to the opposite side of the pond and pulled herself out. Had it been a phantom scent? She hoped so, but on closer observation she decided it was not. And Castille was no where around to check it out, and with a soft sigh, Cassidy decided she was back on duty. She shook herself off daintily- or, as much as she could anyways, and quickly skittered forwards towards the border, still soaking wet and water spilling off her brown pelt.
She saw her first from behind- a pelt that looked like flame. It almost startled her, and she had to blink a few times to adjust herself. "Oh- um, hello-" Cassidy spoke, halfheartedly realizing that it was not perhaps her most domineering voice. Not that she looked scary either, being half water drenched.
