Alright, this is a match between two swordsmen, Adult Link (from the Ocarina of Time) and Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin). For those wondering, Link has all available weapons and techniques available in the Ocarina of Time. The battle area is a large field with various objects (large rock formations, trees, plants etc).

I'm giving this to Kenshin. His Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki or Kuzu Ryusen would take down Link quick and put him in a coma for several months.

Mr.Mxyzptlk I'm giving this to Kenshin. His Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki or Kuzu Ryusen would take down Link quick and put him in a coma for several months. Keep in mind that Link has Nayru's Love at his disposal. With that technique, Link takes no damage under any conditions.

What are the limits on that technique? I'd doubt you'd make a thread with an invincible combatant.

Mr.Mxyzptlk What are the limits on that technique? I'd doubt you'd make a thread with an invincible combatant. Link is not invincible. He can still get hurt from high falls. But as far as I've seen in the Ocarina of Time (considering I've completed the game), no enemy has harmed Link while Nayru's Love is on. Plus his magic eventually drains out, so Nayru's Love does have a finite time period. I'm more educated on Link than I am on Kenshin, so as far as I know, Kenshin could still have some other feats that may work.

Its hard to decide, i've played Zelda games but not Ocarina of Time, that Nayru's love you spoke of seems to give kenshin a big disadvantage, although he is fast and could dodge and defend until that Nayru's love runs out

Overall magic and time constraints on Nayru's Love taken into account, Kenshin simply needs to wait it out for 4 minutes to have a win, and I'm not sure fairies would have an effect on being knocked out instead of dead. Link doesn't have the speed or defense to hold of Kenshin.

Still, since we are incorporating the Zelda universe as well, any destructable objects give link more magic, faries, red faries, hearts, refill items etc.

As far as Nayru's Love goes, that is Link's main source for excellent defence. In regards to offense, Link's various arrows (fire, ice and light) could seriously damage Kenshin. Namely Light Arrows would do the most damage, and as far as I've seen, that could possibly kill Kenshin.

If Kenshin didn't knock them off course with his Ki or just simply evade them. He's doodged bullets before, I don't think arrows would be a problem.

How about Din's Fire? If Kenshin gets within an estimated 30 ft. of Link, then he'll be incinerated.

Kenshin has already stopped fire with his sword during the Aoshi story arc. That big guy that breathed fire (sorry don't remember his name) had it blocked by kenshin spinning his sword. If Kenshin can hold out untill Link runs out of "Faerie Power" he wins, if not, then Link wins.

When was it stated that the Zelda universe was incorporated? I didn't see it in the vs thread starting post. Nor did you add it in by saying something like "oh the battleground is on zelda land" thus, it's a normal landscape with no fairies inside rocks.
