Questions...
More rubble. A man clad in black. His long cloak swaying in the stormy weather. His long grey hair saturated by the rain water. In the midst of a forest this rubble was once something very special indeed.
What is this man doing here?

Tao turned, his mind ached with the pain of times past. He was struck with an odd feeling.
"Why cant you just let me leave?"
He sighed as his footsteps echoed across the concrete coated ground of the front entrance to the facility. Thats when it happened. His cell phone began to vibrant and rang out. The noise of the beeping ringtone bounced out into the forest. Slipping the phone from his pocket the number showed as unknown.
"Hello...
Its you...
What do you...
No, I havent spoken to them in years now...
What? Whats going on?
What do you mean the mother?
DAMN IT I DONT KNOW WHERE THEY ARE!
Okay, Ill try and find them but I cant promise anything..."
With that he hung the phone up and slipped it back into his pocket.
"I always knew it would never be over."

"Damn it, why is it always us they call upon when they land themselves in it."
He muttered to him as he hastened his pace back to his car. Sitting in the drivers seat he took one last glance back to the rubble which once was Site B before taking his phone out.
"Hi sweetie...
I wont be home till late....
Yeah, I have to meet some old friends...
No nothing like that. Everything is..."
He paused for a moment, he hated having to lie to his wife but unfortunately it was something of a neccessity in these matters. It would keep her safe.
"Everything is fine...
I'll be back in a few days...
Love you too..."
With that he hung the phone up, once again sliding it back into his pocket. He turned the key in the ignition and made off across the rather rocky terrain.
"Now where the hell do I even start looking for the others...."

"Yes. I understand that Tao is off in the midst of something he had claimed to have given up years ago but do you think that he really wants me
interferring with---"
He was instantly cut off by an inane mouthful of shouting.
"Okay no need to shou---"
He held the phone a little bit away from his ear as he gave the woman on the other end a little time to calm down.
"You need to relax you know. Lay off the caffine. Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on him for you."

The motorcycle blazed down the highway. The stormy weather definately wasnt the best time to be out biking but it looked like he had no other choice. His sister, Taos wife, had given him such a mouthful. He knew her all too well, if he didnt follow around and make sure he came back to her okay he would never hear the end of it. Doing her dirty work. Muffled behind the helmet he talked to himself,
"Most women are afraid of their husbands running off with another woman. Not my sister. No. No. No. She is afriad of Tao taking off with a frigging building that has been rubble for the past four or five years. Ridiculous is what it is."
The bike continued onwards. Jake knew exactley where he was heading. The entry, way out the other side of the forest. It was the only place where anybody could possibly get a vechile near Site B and thats where Tao would be making his exit.

Tao sped out the exit in his car. A trail of mud splattered out behind him. The rain was impossible to see through but somewhere on the planet there had to go be somewhere where the sun was shining where the day was bright. Somewhere things were better.
The radio blasted in the car.
"Where the hell do I find Bono, Ksrugi, Ret and everybody else. How do I even find where they went after Sector Zero was rendered obsolete by those bastards as Durant Industries..."
He checked his wing mirror. He was being followed. Tao had spent enough time in the underground to realise that somebody was tailing. By the looks of it this guy he was a total amateur. He hit the radio, the music instantaneously stopped. He drove in silence for a moment. There was something about the bike that looked familiar.
"Jake. For cripes sake what the hell..."
As he was about to slam the brakes onto the car his phone rang. Its gave me him quite the start as he reached quickly for it.
"Hello..."
A voice faded in across the phone. A very familiar and unwelcome one at that.
"Well well, isnt everybody just crawling out of the wood work today. Let me guess- this is about the Mother right...
Well that I am surprised about....
You have information for me! Thats a laugh.
Guess thats true....
Do you know where he is?
What do you mean, he ca-cant be..."
Taos voice began to crack as tears began to fill his eyes....

Tao slammed the phone against the dashboard, it seemed to almost bounce across the innnerards of the car. He swerved the car violently to the right and onto the hard shoulder of the road. He forced the brakes on as he punched the steering wheel.
"Bastards. How could they? What the hell did he do! DAMN!!"
He swung his elbow to the drivers side window. It cracked but didnt shatter entirely. He opened the door and kicked it wide out. He stormed from the car, as the rain thundered down onto the tarmac road. He watched as the motorbike pulled in behind him.

Jake lept off the bike, he knew he had been seen. He figured it was better to get the a** chewing out of the way. He slipped his helmet off as the rain lashed down soaking him to the bone. He looked at Tao and smiled,
"Yeah, I know, no need to get heavy on me."
His eyes drifted momentarily to the window of Taos car,
"You okay, by the looks of it that was no stone which hit your window."

Taos eyes welled up as he clenched his feets.
"They killed him Jake. THEY ******** KILLED HIM!"
His voice cracked as grasped at his chest tightly,
"Somebody called Durant ordered it. He was getting too close to the truth. He's dead man. I need to find the rest of the group, they need to know. They need to be told that Retloc is dead."
The words resonated through his head as he tried to convince himself. He didnt know what the hell was going on anymore. He had given a near impossible task of finding the rest of the old group, what was left of them anyway. Things were building up to something and he knew it. This was no small time outbreak.

Taos eyes were filled with tears, they stung his cheeks as they rolled down his face,
"Get in contact with them. Get them to find Bono, Ksrugi, Eiji and anybody else they can get their hands on."
Tao turned and headed for the car pausing for a brief moment,
"Jake, this is some deep s**t we are in right now. You said Durant was searching for something, something ultimately powerful. I think he found it and I doubt we have much time."
Tao lowered himself back into the car and dried his eyes. The rain had drenched him through and through but nothing seemed to matter- the only thing that was on his mind was Retloc's death, finding his old allies and stopping Durant, by any means necessary. He slammed his foot down on the accelerator, he knew he had to see Carmel before everything kicked off.
