Lol I'v been asking to many questions latley xd

Anyway I decided I want to have "normal" Comment and a "Normal" quote box...I mean without the little pointy thing attached to the box example: like Shady Princess has her boxes. But I would want to change the color and stuff...I just want a code to make my box like that sweatdrop Please and Thank you heart

I'd type it all out, but I'm too lazy at the moment. If you read this thread, I believe I covered all of the pieces that make up the comments. The quote box uses the same codes as the odd comments.

Eeeek I tried all the codes but none worked >.> Only some of the boxes are the colors I want and the arrow thing is still there.

Can you post the codes you used here? I should be able to see what's going on.

.message {background-image: none;} ought to remove the arrow thingie.

I used this code here:

.caption2:before {content: url(TOP LEFT IMAGE URL) background: url(TOP RIGHT IMAGE URL) top right no-repeat transparent; }
.caption2:after {content: url(BOTTOM LEFT IMAGE URL) background: url(BOTTOM RIGHT IMAGE URL) bottom right no-repeat transparent; }

But I wasnt sure what the image url thing was for? Im so confused crying

Oh. The corners of the comments are images. If you're using IE, you won't be able to see them, but in Firefox and other browsers you can see them. They basically make the comment box look like it has rounded corners instead of square ones.

Where it says "TOP/BOTTOM LEFT/RIGHT IMAGE URL" would be where you'd place the address for your custom made images (or remove that text so no image shows up) that would replace the corners.

That's all that code is for. The codes you want to change the color of the comments with would be these codes:

Odd comments:
.caption {border: solid 2px #______; background-color: #______; }

Even comments:
.caption2 {border: solid 2px #______; background-color: #______: }

.caption .message {background-image: none;}
.caption2 .message {background-image: none;}
