((Anyone is welcome in here, but please no more than four kids total including Keanu. So Three other joiners max.))
"You're sure?" Came the ever uestioning voice of the boy's mother as she pushed open the door to the public swimming pool. Her left eye gave a slight twitch at the scent of chlorine in the air. That meant water, lots of water. She... Really wasn't much for water, or swimming. Though she had to admit, she looked nice in a swimsuit. Good for getting a tan, but god help the fool who got her wet.
"Of course, mum!" Came the boys reply, as he began to survey the area. "A hero's gotta know how to swim. What if the ship sinks, or the princess falls in a lake, or-"
"Alright, I get it, I get it." She replied, rubbing her head slightly. He would have gone on forever had she not stopped him, and with the idea of being stuck near a pool with loud, screaming kids. She already had a headache from the very idea of it. "I'm just going to find a nice spot to sit out of the way..." She mumbled, massaging her temple.
"Alright!" Keanu called back, tail waving a bit as his mother stepped up, and dealt with paying for the admissions. It was an indoor heated pool, so it would be open even when it was hailing outside. Good, for training. Yes, he needed to be an excellent swimming to he could save the ladies at the same time as fighting evil sea monsters. A grin planted itself on his face as his mother handed him a locker key.
"Just go use that for changing, then remember to rinse off before going into the pool after you've changed. Alright?" She got a nod, and smiled pleasantly. "Then I'll be out by the pool waiting. Come get me if you need anything, alright?" Another nod, and then a boy bouncing off to get changed. Well that worked.
After being dismissed by the those, well as close to dismissed as he cared for anyway, he hurried into the locker room with a 'MENS' sign over it. That was right, he was a man, that meant he was an adult. Soon he'd be saving those damsels in distress like the heros in books. It was only a matter of time.
Quickly finding the number for the key he had, he opened it, and began undressing. He pulled on the swim drunks his mother had gotten him, which where navy blue, with silver lining, and stuffed his clothes into the locker. Then tugged off the set of goggles he'd started to wear on his head, putting them inside as well. He didn't want to ruin them, and leather, and water just didn't go well. Seeing as how everything was in there now, he closed the locker, and used the key to lock it, before wrapping pulling the thing onto his wrist. They'd put adjustable bracelets on all of the keys for that. It was much better than expecting people to stuff them in their shorts, or leave them somewhere. Either way it was time to shower.
Walking over, he found one that wasn't in use, and quickly doused himself with the water, which mostly ended up causing his fur to cling to him in a rather comical manner, before shoving his bangs out of his face, and heading out to where the pool was. Sure enough he spotted the blond woman off in a corner, eyeing the pool as if it was an evil creature going to attack her at any moment. It was a rather amusing sight, considering his mum thought nothing of the occaisional small explosion her work sometimes brought. Still, he managed to hold in the laugh, and merely smirked, before wandering over toward the pool, and peering into it. It was deeper than he'd expected...
Perfect. All the better for training.

Et jumped over to the entrance of the pool and stopped. Vivina had been with her a moment ago and now she's gone off somewhere. She turned around and noticed the pink haired girl at the water fountain. Sighing, she went over to her. "Vivina, don't run ahead like that again. You could get lost! Anyway, let's get you changed. The changing room should be right around...here it is! Come on, swimming isn't that bad."
Vivina let out a sigh after getting drink. Her mom was yelling at her for some reason, which she had no clue what it was. Suddenly, she was dragged into a cold room full of lockers, toilets, and showers. Et handed Vivina her purple bathing suit with pink trimmings and a towel. Vivina smiled and took it into a changing stall where she quickly slipped into the suit. She waited for her mom to change as well and headed out, spotting someone she swore she saw somewhere before.
That's right, the spotted boy from the egg place. What's his name again? She never caught his name at all. Shrugging, she went to the edge of the pool and looked in. The bottom seemed far from her and the glare on the surface of the water made her squint. She frowned as she realized she couldn't go underwater with her glasses on. Wait, didn't Et have goggles that were meant for her? She ran back over to her mom and asked. "Mom, you got the special goggle thing? I wanna go in the water now..."
Et smiled and went through her bag and pulled it out. She handed it over to Vivina and watched her run off. Her attention went to Keanu and his own mother. The spotted boy was here too? She had hoped that someone else would be here for Vivina to play with. Putting on sunblock, she laid back on a chair and dozed off instantly. Her lack of sleep from the past few days finally worked on her and she slept quietly.
Vivina walked back and placed the goggled over her glasses. This way, she could go underwater and still see. Testing the water with her feet, she smiled as the temperature of it felt cool, but not too cold. Slipping in, she gasped as the water felt cooler than she expected. The water went up to her waist and saw that she was in the shallow end. She wanted to try to swim, so she went a but deeper and tried to stay afloat as her feet floated away from the bottom of the pool. "Ah...Um...now how do I do this again? Mom never taught me...Um...." She kicked her legs and tried to propel her body around, only to find herself laying on her back and gazing at the clouds. She giggled and stayed in that position, seeing as this was fun.

He knelt down, testing the water with his fingers for a moment, before deeming it suitable. Not that it mattered if it was, or wasn't. He wouldn't have a choice in the cuture if someone needed help in the ocean, or something. Still, it was nice to have it pleasant right now. It was rather convenient.
Taking a quick breath, and holding it, he quickly jumped into the pool, closing his eyes as he did. He hadn't bothered to go to the shallow end, seeing as how he'd never get better if he hid over there. He had to test himself, and force work. Or at least that's how he saw it. He hit the water almost as soon as he'd jumped dunking under. After a moment he rather sloppily waved his arms int he water until he came back to the surface, and snagged a fresh lungful of air, kicking his feet under the surface. Any fluff he'd still had a moment before was now clinging to him when above the surface, or just looking rather odd under the water. Not that Keanu noticed, save for the fact his bangs where in his face. Cursed be the problem of not being able to wear the goggles he had in the water. But they weren't designed to get wet, so the locker was the best place for them.
He quickly shoved the long obtrusive locks out of his sight, and glanced around the pool while treading water. It wasn't too crowded, mostly people over at the big board. Something his mother had forbid him to try out yet. A few people around the middle of the pool where he was, and some relaxing over in the shallow part. He blinked as he spotted something slight familiar, trying to recall. Hadn't he seen that girl before? It took a moment for him to recall the scene where he'd seen the other, but it did come. Not that he knew her name, he'd been too busy thinking about the dragon egg, and then trying to decide if he could get Raja to stay at the incubation facility all day. He hadn't succeeded at that. But none the less he did know where he'd seen the pink haired girl before.
Actually she was rather odd looking, wearing a set of goggles, on her back. Starring up... He tilted his head slightly to one side, water dropping from one of the drenched ear's tip. What was she looking at? He peered up, watching the sky a moment through the glass roof, before turning his attention back to the girl. What was interesting about that?
Well asking was the only way to find out, besides he needed to start swimming around. Kicking his feet in the direction of the other, he started to swim. If you could call it that. It was something of a mix between a dog paddle, and a breast stroke. He'd had it explained to him, but hadn't really mastered doing it properly. Or maybe he'd just forgotten how to do it right. Still it worked, and he moved in the right direction; a little less than efficient, but moving.
As he drew nearer to the other, he slowed down, so to avoid having any water splash in his mouth do to his arms flailing. They did make a lot of water fly around when he tried to go fast. "What are you looking at?" He asked, gazing partially at the girl, while trying to look up at the same time. It wasn't working well, but they didn't really stop him from doing it anyway.

"Ack, Sah I don't think you'll be able to get him in..." The whole way here she had been thinking about this issue, she didn't think that they would let a dragon into a public pool? Even if it was just a young one, a wyrmling, not much larger than a large dog, just a little more lengthily. She wasn't sure though, since she had never been to such a place, but she was ready to argue if need be. After adjusting the hood of her sweatshirt over her head, she pulled the sleeves out over her hands. Sure she shouldn't be out right now, but she really didn't care, they'd mostly be inside a building, anyways, and all she had to do was find a shaded place to sit, shouldn't be too hard.
"But Ma he has to come in! We can't just leave him out here and I didn't want to leave him at home~! That'd be so cruel..." Clinging to the dirt coloured creature, Sahra walked along side her mother, eyeing the entrance as they quickly approached it. Why wouldn't they let him in, anyways? It's not like he'd go in the water, anyways. He'd probably just go hide under a table or something by Mew, what was the big deal with that?
"There's nothing I can do about it Sah, if they don't want him in they won't let him in...Eh, hi." She muttered as they stopped in front of the admissions, peering at the person whom they'd be giving them their way into the pool. "Um, yeah, just us, and a...dragon." She knew she'd have a bit of arguing to do, seeing as the person said that was impossible, she handed what she would to them, sighing as they snipped back at all of her responses.
But while she was arguing with the person at the desk, Sah snuck into the front of the pool area, carrying a bag with her suit and things with her. It would be fun to watch everyone else, she wasn't so sure about going in the water, but she had done it enough before, and nothing ever happened, so she suspected it would be fine. Besides, Re and her Ma were there, even if something did happen, at least she'd be okay, right? Oh well, she should only be thinking about such things when she had to! But where was her Ma? What was taking her so long?
"Okay..." Mew said in a hushed tone, shoving the spotted girl along, "It's taken care of, don't worry about it. Just go and change, okay? I am going to go find somewhere to sit..." She motioned for Ephrem to follow her, and without much hesitation he slinked after the fox featured woman. They found a nice shaded corner to sit in, at a table of course, and just as the cheetah had thought, her Re coiled up underneath the table, positioning himself so he could watch happenings in the pool. Mew simply curled up in a chair, legs pulled up to her chest, she leaned her head onto her knees and watched contently onto the small crowd in the pool.
By this time Sahra had already gotten into the Woman's Locker room, nearly finished pulling on her silver coloured swim suit, she yanked on the top portion of it, and wandered back out of the stall. After quickly pulling her hair up in a hair tie, she stuffed all of her things into her neon green coloured bag, she wandered back out near the pool, quickly padding to her mother and setting the bag onto the table beside her. She observed the position of her companions, mentally noting their spot so as not to forget, but now it was time to get in the water. She shivered, knowing the very oversized chlorine filled bath tub would be much different than the salt ocean water. But no, she was here to swim, so she had to! Right?...And before she knew it she was standing in front of the shallow end, kneeling down to sit on the edge, she slipped her legs in first, allowing at least part of her to get used to the somewhat chilly water, she hadn't been paying much attention now to those around her, since she was to caught up in her own thoughts to actually look.

Indigo had wanted to go swimming, and to show her dragon the pool (since the little copper couldn't believe the thought of a giant "puddle" of standing water), and since Jenner hadn't anything better to do that day and Tizzy was getting stir-crazy, the entire Preston family had made the expedition down to go for a swim. Indigo and her dragon bobbed along at the head of the line, the one chattering and the other listening (while plotting a clever tail-trip at some juncture), with Jenner and Tizzy taking the rear. Jenner was intent on finishing her cigarette before they actually made it to the pool deck, and so was deccelerating to a practical crawl, letting the gap between her and the kids widen. Not amused in the least, Tizzy snatched the towel from her mother's shoulder and bounded off after Indigo and the dragon in a blur of brilliant blue.
Jenner just snorted at their antics, her crawl slowing to a complete stop outside the pool gate as her kids ran on ahead. Let 'em have their fun; she'd finish her smoke and then go sun or something. Tizzy could keep them out of trouble.
Indigo shoved the gate open, fumbling the lock with her eagerness, before finally swinging it wide and letting her dragon and Tizzy through. She followed after at a half-jog, trying not to run but not quite able to contain her excitement. Her dragon, on the other hand, stopped dead just on the other side of the gate, tail swishing back and forth in amazement and moderate distress. "Bwrr," she declared after a moment. Indigo glanced back over her shoulder at the noise, and put two hands on her hips.
"Oh, c'mon! You can swim, right? Don't be a big baby about it!"
"Mrrph," the dragon muttered, lifting up a forepaw as Tizzy and the towel passed her by. The towel caught her attention as it flapped in the breeze and she heaved herself to all fours, fanning her wings a little and pattering after the demon. Tizzy herself was unaware that she was being followed so, intent on catching up with Indigo--so when the copper planted one big paw on the towel, there was a brief rrrrrip! of tearing cloth before the demon found herself catapulted into the pool.
Sploosh! She didn't make much of a splash and spent several seconds under the water as a sinking ball of blue fluff, before clawing her way to the surface and shrieking like a scalded cat. "AUGH! Water! Get me out of the water! Indigoooo! Motherrr!" Despite her protestations, Tizzy could swim, though right now she was more focused on thrashing around in a hysterical circle.
Indigo watched all of this with wide gray eyes, shoving her glasses up on her nose when they slipped down. At last, she started to giggle, doing her best to stifle the laughter behind one hand. Her dragon wasn't quite so polite about it, dragging the torn towel over and sitting down upon it with a satisfied smirk and an amused rumble. That had worked surprisingly well.
Now to get everyone else in the pool. Including that other wyrmling over there.

Vivina gazed upward and giggled. The clouds sailed across the sky through the glass and she watched them go by. She had completely forgotten that she was supposed to be teaching herself how to swim, if she even knew the first thing about swimming in first place.
Of course, with her membranes on her arms down to her legs keeping her afloat, she wondered how she could swim. She would be slowed down by them while swimming and she knew that you had to use arms and legs to swim. There's an odd situation...
Staying afloat was easy enough. She could stay like this the entire time, but what fun was that? It was relaxing, and part of her wanted to fall asleep like that, but the other part told her to learn how to swim and not to drown herself in her first attempt. She blinked a few times as she noticed that something was trying to talk to her in a muffled, watery voice.
At first, it sounded like a blur of words since her ears were underwater, but then she noticed the spotted boy was nearing her and looking up. She guessed that he asked what she was looking at and let her body sink under the water until her feet touched, or nearly touched, the bottom of the pool.
"Um, clouds...I guess. Nothing much is up there. Besides the glass I mean...Um, I never caught your name the last time I saw you. You know at the egg place? Never really heard anyone saying anything, cept I heard Sahra saying something beginning with the letter K." She stopped as she saw Sahra come in. She grinned and jumped up and down in the pool, not realizing that she was splashing water around her in mini waves.
"Sahra~ Whatcha doing here? I thought cats didn't like water...well that's what everyone says." Looking around the area to see if anyone else was here, she noticed something purple and another thing close to it. It looked like a giant bug of some sort, then realized it was another girl and her dragon. She giggled as she watched someone was flung into the pool and sank under the water without knowing.
She blinked a few times, still giggling, before realizing she was underwater. She could see the legs of people and stared at the strange patterened tiles of the pool. It sure looked different under here. Running out of air, she sprang back up above the water and let out the rest of her laughter, hoping that no one would notice her being the only on laughing.

Clouds..? Why? You could see them anytime. Why bother with something like that when you could be doing something better? People really where puzzling. He flicked an ear; partially to be rid of water, and partially in dismissal of the idea, before listening as she spoke again. "Eh, oh... Keanu." He called, smiling. "And I didn't catch yours either... I... Wasn't paying too much attention to everyone that day. Mind telling me yours?" He added, finally reaching a point where he could reach the bottom, and standing there. The fur around him bobbed with the waves as they splashed against him, but unlike most cats... He really wasn't afraid, or too bothered by water. It was wet, and it took a while to dry out, but all things had to be tolerated, and dealt with in order to be a true hero.
So he had to learn to deal with it.
He grinned as he caught sight of the spotted girl, who he was running into for... the fourth time now. Something when he was a lot younger, though all he really remembered about it was a forest. And that his mother yelled at him for a long time after she found him. The second was at that one class hunting for things. They hadn't really talked, and then at the egg place. Where he'd seen this girl too. It was like all of them where coming here to swim today too.
Though that idea left his mind as he spotted the thing near the girl. Grown, with two legs. Isn't that was the guy had described about her dragon. So that was... "Waaa! SAHRA YOUR DRAGON HATCHED!?" The boy called, ears darting up in surprise. Why hadn't his hatched? He tried to recall if Raja had said anything pertaining to D.Corp recently. Any letters? Any announcements? Sadly nothing came to mind, and he knew that meant he wasn't going to get to see his yet. Well... He could still play with this one though, right? He could wait longer, just as long as... It hadn't died, or something. The guy had said it would boil if it got too warm. He frowned, but pushed it aside. No, that place was all snowy, it would be fine.
He started to make his way over toward the edge, doing a half swim to try, and move faster until the water was below his waist. A dragon a real live dragon. Not just an egg now, but a living one. Now that was cool. "What kind was it that you got again?" He asked, not really noticing the fact all his fur was clinging to his skin, making an even more comical appearance than he must have looked in the water.
He'd been to busy watching the first dragon to notice the second coming in with the other girl; the one he'd called Miss Monster at the treasure hunting class, walk in as well. Though at the sudden yell he glanced behind him toward the blue creature in the water, blinking at it before glancing at the odd brightly colored shape in the corner of his eye. And what was nearby. Another brownish hued creature. This one with wings. Another one!? They where everywhere now it seemed! "T-two..." He muttered in disbelief, before a foolish grin crossed his face, and he glanced back at Sahra. "Hey, do your dragons swim? Can they? Are they coming in?" He asked, automatically assuming that the pair had to be coming in together.

"Wah...huh!?" Her head shot upward, looking about, she finally realized that she was surrounded by people that she knew! How odd and coincidental? But that was fine with her; it meant she wouldn't have to worry about swimming alone! She peered down into the water, not far from herself was a something she knew well enough. "Vivina!" She yipped happily, a grin formulating onto her face rather quickly. She watched the girl float, but then she suddenly switched to bouncing about, it nearly made her jump, and oh how sudden things always caught her off guard. But it happened often, so she was rather used to it by now. "I am here to, er, swim? At least I thought." The cheetah kicked her legs about contently in the water, making the water fold out into tiny waves.
What? Cat's not like water? Well, she certainly didn't care for it, and she sued to be afraid of it, but since she had been taught how to swim by Nen she had grown far less afraid of it. Now it just didn't bother her, as long as others were around, that is. "I've never heard that before." She exclaimed, watching the ripples in the chlorine infested waters. "I don't really mind it, at least not now."
Something else quickly caught her attention, something had made a splash near the other end of the pool, or at least that is where she thought it had come from. She wondered what it was? But all she could see form her position was bubbles arising from the bottom. But a ripping sound that had occurred a time earlier had caused her to gaze about the area, quickly setting eyes on a coppery form. What was that winged thing? Was it another dragon? Oh this couldn't be good, Re had never been around another dragon, and he didn't like other people much, oh she hoped that this wouldn't be a problem. "Oh!" Soon spotting Indigo, she waved to her happily. Maybe that copper thing was her dragon? Well, the only way she could find out was if she asked, but she would save that for a few moments later, since it appeared as someone else was trying to get her attention.
Sahra's hands fell over her ears, squinting slightly; there was no doubt that she had heard him loud and clear. "Eh, yeah, he hatched a few days ago." She said with a shake of the head and a flick of the tail. The cheetah hadn't really thought about the downsides of bringing her new companion with her to the pool, but it just didn't seem right to leave him behind. Besides, he was content in his spot next to Mew curled up under the table, off far in their corner. She wondered if it was even possible to get him in the water. He didn't seem to like it much at all...
"He's a Lindworm." The spotted girl replied simply, returning to her activity of splashing her feet in the pool water. "Er, well, I don't really think that Re-- um, Ephrem likes water much..." Sah was speaking truthfully in name of her friend, knowing he wouldn't do what he didn't want to do, and she most definitely did not want to make him.
Lifting his head up in response to his name, the dirt coloured dragon twisted his head to the side, peering lazily at the children near Sahra, his companion, and then ultimately to her. Why had she called him? He wasn't doing anything wrong, or at least he didn't think he was. "Rrr..." He moaned, scraping his long claws against the concrete floor. He rose, purely out of boredom, and slithered his way over to the pool side. He of course stayed a short ways from the edge, not really feeling like being pushed in again as the bird creature had done to him before, and he coiled his long tail around, sitting in a comfortable position rather near to the cheetah.

By now, Indigo was kneeling at the side of the pool near where Tizzy had gone in, one hand held out beneath the water to help the faceless demon up and out of the pool. The velvet worm's dragon had shifted off the torn towel, leaving it free for Indigo to scoop up and drape around Tizzy to let the demon dry off. She turned away almost immediately, though, antennae twitching with interest as she realized some of that talking was aimed at her. "Hey, Sahra!" She waved back with one of her uppers, and goggled as the Lindworm emerged from beneath his table haven to come join Sahra at the edge of the pool.
"Wooow," she breathed. "He's really neat." Her dragon watched all of this with a thoughtful look in those molten-copper eyes, shrugging and resettling her leathery wings before rising and padding after the Lindworm. She was immediately distracted, though, by the sight of the water--turning her head to follow Keanu as he splashed about in the pool. Sitting down, she curled her tail around her forepaws, the very tip twitching slowly like a cat's would when it was hunting.
Indigo blushed a little with pride as the snow leopard asked about her dragon. "I dunno; I never asked her," she admitted, after a moment. "Her name's Citrine," she added. "Hi, Re!" This last an afterthought directed at Sahra's Lindworm.
Tizzy poked her head out from a fold of the towel just then, small face screwed up in a grimace of dismay. "I'm going to sit down over there, away from the pool, Indigo. Don't go too deep," she said, acidly, before stalking off, trailing the towel after her once more. Such was Citrine's fascination with the water that she didn't even look away once as the little demon departed. Indigo just shook her head, watching her "aunt" depart with scarce-concealed amusement.

Vivina giggled and turned over to face Keanu. A sleepy expression was on her face and she yawned before speaking. "Oop, sorry...Um, it's Vivina. Nice to meet you...again..." She noticed how Keanu's fur clung together in lumps and she bursted out into sudden giggling. She dove under again and let out all her laughter in the water, bubbles spewing out of her mouth until she ran out of air.
She swam back up and took a deep breath before trying to apologize through her giggles. "Hahahaha...I'm...so sorry...Your fur...it looks funny!" She brushed her hair away, which now clung to her goggles and blocked her view. That was going to get annoying...
She waved back at Sahra, noticing her jump in surprise. She spun in a circle a few times and tried to stay floating without having to lie down by kicking her feet rapidly as well as moving her arms to keep upright. "Oh cool! Swimming is something new to me, but I think I like it! It's kinda hard though..."
At that moment, she dove into the water forward as she lost her balance trying to stay afloat. She stood back up straight and saw only a massive clump of pink and black. Ugh, her hair had clumped onto her goggles again. Next time, she was going to tie her hair up when she swims.
Vivina looked back at Sahra after her sudden drop into the water. "Really? All the cats at my house say that they hate water...except one I think. Well, ok then. I'm gonna go and try to swim some more then!"
She turned her attention to the dragons and grinned. She hoped to get her dragon to hatch soon so that she too can have fun with them. She wondered if a feathered dragon would like being in the water. Shrugging, she jumped along into a deeper portion of the pool to try and swim through the water without having to sink too low into the water and ending up on the bottom of the pool. That would be odd...

Vivina, Vivina. The name repeated once, or twice in his head. He'd try to remember it, like he did most things he heard. It was anyones guess how well that would go though, considering how he could be. He might have been confused about his fur had he still been really paying attention when the girl had burst out laughing, and mentioned it. Embarrassed though? No, as long as she didn't dislike him because of it, it was fine. His fur would do what it would, and frankly, he knew there was no changing that. If it wanted to clump up, and be a mess when he was wet... Well that wasjust how it would be. Why let it ruin his time? He looked a little funny, so what, he was still able to swim around.
"A lindworm." He mumbled, eyeing the creture a bit more closely as it came nearer to the waters edge. Well closer to Sahra to be exact. How curious, like dirt. Hadn't his egg been a rock though? The boy flicked an ear. He'd expected gray, but it was still really cool. Especially how it moved, slinking along somewhat like a snake. "He's awsome." He mumbled, drawing closer to the edge, thinking to climb out, and examine the dragon more closely. Though aother voice stopped him, and drew his attention up.
"Well... We can find out right?" He asked, peering at Indigo, and the dragon, who he now knew to be Citrine. He finally caught hold of the edge near the shallows, having been walking that way,a nd hoisted himself up. Yes, examining the dragons was going to be important, it must be done. He shook himself slightly, some whater flying everywhere from the rather damp fur, which now clung to allof him. The boy seemed to have lost quite a bit of body mass with it all now caught up against his skin, as for his tail... Well it certainly wasn't fluffy.
He wandered over toward the closer of the two dragons, the lindworm, before kneeling down a few paces away. "Hmm..." It didn't have wings, though that as obvious. Claws, like dragons where supposed to. He flicked a damp ear, sending water flying. "Yeah! Ephrem should go siwmming!" He called brightly, standing up. "So should Citrine! I bet they'll like it!" He added. Looking at Indigo, the she monster he'd met before. "Besides, it will be more fun if they play with us, right?"

Edging her way away form the edge, Sahra nudged her dragon companion, trying to get some sort of response out of him. He had always seemed like the not-care-about-much at all-ish type, and a bit on the anti-social side, of course. The girl knew that he would need all the prodding she could manage! "Re," She said, speaking in a rather hushed tone as so only he could hear her, "I know you're not, er, going to like this much, but try to behave this time, will you? Please?" Sighing, she tried her best not to remember what had happened the previous day in the arcade, something with a mean kid and shoving her, he didn't like it, and "took care of it," although not in a very nice way.
Lifting one hand to stroke the neck of the serpent, the cheetah watched Vivina and Keanu as they swam about. It didn't seem too bad, nope not at all; it hadn't been bad before so it shouldn't be now, right? She kept on reassuring herself, as if attempting to talk herself into finally getting down into the water instead of just sitting on the cement edge and making waves with her feet. Well, at least she didn't have long fur like the other cat, it looked rather annoying in her eyes to have such a thing weigh you down in the water. She guessed that she never could complain, now, about her own fur, since there were others who had it worse!
"Hur? Ah, er, you might not want to call him Re, he won't like that very much..." Surely sounding hesitant, the spotted creature didn't want to seem rude, but didn't want her companion getting to angered either. But sure enough, he let out a growl, quickly recognizing his name as it was said a few different times. Ephrem didn't much appreciate others saying it if they did not have business with him, or needed him in a sense. The creature had not reacted to much else, although instinctively wrapping his snake like tail around the cheetah, he otherwise made more action or sound than a log would, but unlike a log he was a much more aggressive fellow.
"Yeah? Hm. I guess it just really depends on the person, don't you think? I think everyone is just different, simply said." Nodding, it did sound rather logical, and the facts seemed to add up correctly. "Okay?" She eyed the girl, watching her movements in the water, if Vivina could swim, then couldn't she? Yes, she could. And she could probably drag Re into the water, too, even if he would hate her at the end of the day. "Eph-RE-um, com'on, come in the water with me~!" Grabbing hold of his tail, she scooted her way back to the pool's edge, and quickly dropped into the water, dragging the creature with her, before he had a chance to react.
"RRRR--" Not a happy sound, nope, Ephrem didn't like water, and wouldn't stand being forced into it. Feet and tail flailing, he attempted to slither right on out of the water, but was obviously being held in by the girl. "It's not that bad, really, you'll get used to it Re, I did." Speaking softly in a sing song sort of tone, she allowed the creature to "constrict" himself around her body as a snake would. Resting his limbs against one of her shoulders, his head whipped around, trying to calculate a better solution to escaping the water! "ARRRR." He grunted unhappily, finally holding still long enough for the girl to walk out a bit further.
Not being able to help herself, Sahra began almost randomly cracking up, her laughter being directed at her Re. He was so funny, just the way he went about this; he acted as if water was some sort of lethal substance that would make him meet his end! Just like she used to act, but maybe not as bad. "Uh--ahah, he is, now, keh, whether he likes it or not. Although I don't much like forcing him to do things, I think he'll get used to it fast, or at least, I HOPE."

Vivina giggled again as she continued to look at Keanu. She didn't mean to sound rude, but funny things were something she couldn't help but to laugh to. She swam around some more, actually, more like paddled. She was getting used to how to mov through the water. It was nothing like the bathwater in the bathroom. It tasted funny. She wondered if anything was in the water. Honestly, she didn't know. She turned to Sahra again and nodded. "Yep! If everyone was the same, the world would be boring and creepy!"
Waving her tail around, she dove under water and tried to use it to help her swim faster. She looked around under the water, her goggled enabling her to see clearly. She saw a body enter the water, no, two. She noticed that it was Sahra and her dragon. She swam a bit closer, but stayed a decent distance away. She forced herself up above the water as she ran out of air. As soon as she came up, she took a few deep breaths and made sure her hair wasn't blocking her view.
She looked around again to look at Indigo and her dragon. There was someone she hadn't met before. She wondered how she'd be like and questioned going near her. Her dragon seemed fierce at first, but then again, all dragons look fierce. She decided against bother someone she didn't know and laid back in the water, staring back into the clouds again. Once again, all she heard was watered mumbles of everyone and occasional splashing. She could almost fall asleep like this.
Et all the while still slept, even through the constant splashing of the water on her. She shifted every so often, but never waking up. She deserved this sleep after being tortured by the mess at home. She'll have to remind herself not to have too many people help bake cookies, cupcakes, and cakes.

"Huh?" Indigo looked over at Keanu as he took the knee beside Citrine--then smiled at him. "Sure, I think we should try! How about it, Citri?" Her dragon looked a little more dubious about this, not making any sign of her affirmation or denial, instead leaning over to snuffle at the damp leopard kneeling beside them. Hm. Chlorine and cat; not exactly the best combination.
Indigo couldn't really help but laugh at poor Ephrem's plight--he did look a little silly, and the water wasn't THAT bad, after all. At least it got her mind off of him growling at her, something that had caused Citrine to shift her weight and hough at the other dragon, eyes narrowing just a little. HER partner; the only one who got to make noises like that at Indigo was Citrine! She looped her tail around Indigo's feet, giving another chuffing noise, this time of amusement, as Ephrem went into the water.
The velvet worm looked over at Vivina then as the sugar glider spoke up, and cracked another smile. "Yeah, it would be. --I'm gonna go take a shower, okay? If you wanna get in without me, Cit, g'wan! I'll be right back." She pattered off at the not-quite-run kids adopt at the pool-deck to avoid getting pulled over at the lifeguard, heading over to the courtesy shower to rinse herself off before swimming. Bereft of her partner, Citrine turned her attention back to the water, leaning out as far as she could to investigate Vivina. ...well, it probably wasn't too bad, even if it smelled strange. Besides, she could show the grumpy snake thing how to REALLY have a good time.
Gathering herself, the copper dragon leapt into the water with a tremendous splash, momentarily going under before buoying herself up with her spread wings. "...rrrf," she opined of this, twisting around to see if she'd splashed the others like she'd intended to.
Jenner meanwhile slipped in through the gate, having finished her cigarette, and ambled over to take a seat beside Tizzy where the younger demon was sunning herself. Aww, kids and their wyrmlings--how cute.

Vivina closed her eyes and thought of several things. Like what whould she do later that day and what she'd be eating. She was getting hungry after all. Having fun can drain one of energy. She heard a watered splash and wondered who came in. Standing back on her feet, she looked around and tried to get the water out of her ears. After shaking her head and clearing her hair out of her goggles again, she looked at the the thing that came in the pool, but was met with a series of splashes. Sputtering to get the water away from her, she dove under and swam towards the scaley object. She ticked what seemed to be the thing's belly and swam off to surface.
"Haha...gotcha!" She turned around again and noticed that it was a dragon. A copper dragon. This was the purple girl's dragon wasn't it? Shrugging, she prepared herself for what was next. Another tickle attack? Or just attacking it with splashes of water...she couldn't decide. She crouched in the water until only her eyes and up were visible and she lurked about the dragon. Oh how fun. If she can play with this dragon, it wouldn't be that hard to play with her own when her egg hatches. 'sides, her dragon would have feathers and she'd be tickling everyone with them if not the dragon tickling her.
Et woke up to the splashing Citrine had caused. She looked around and yawned, rubbing her eyes at the same time. She looked over to see where Vivina had gone and saw a mass of pink hair floating around. Vivina seemed to be having fun stalking the copper. She'd better get used to her playing with a dragon. Any day now the amphithere egg will hatch and who knows what the two will do. Pillow fights? That's for sure. Treasure hunting? The dragon will probably be hoarding everything for itself. Oh dear, what would the dragon eat? She hadn't thought that far ahead. She planned to find out after returning home and taking a nice long bath. These beach chairs were very uncomfortable to sleep in. She stretched out before leaning back on the chair to watch everyone.
