Daniel stood up to make sure he had gotten everything ready in the never before used building. Et did say that he needed to make use of the building that was supposed to be his living area. Why'd she want him to move into there in first place? The basement is heaven enough. Daniel agreed to have this place made into some sort of Daycare for the time being and he was responsible for preparing the place up until he could find teachers and such. He looked about noticing each and every detail, from the bunch of toys in the corner to child safety equipment throughout the building. Each room was different as it seemed as if there was a different environment in each. Touching up on the windows, he gazed over at Et approaching the door. Jumping up, he ran over to the door and opened it.

"Uh, Et...I've finished getting everything ready. I think it's time to let parents drop their children off." Eyeing Vivina, he smiled and pet her. "I really hope this goes well. I'm not really an expert when it comes to children, but I've been around enough to do well enough. Don't worry, the children will be safe with me. Come on Vivina, shall we wait for the others?"

Et smiled and pat Dan on the shoulders. "Good luck pal. I guess that this place will be useful after all. I'll be back with snacks later and if you need anything, I'll be over at my place doing last minute work." Pushing Vivina towards Dan, she smiled and left.

Vivina happily grabbed Dan's hand and walked in. A day with "Uncle" Dan! Yes! She has always waited for the one day she'd spend some time with him and it seems she got her wish today. Giggling, she started to formulate questions for him as soon as some other people arrived.

Raven pulled Anoki along, glancing at her watch as she did so. Whoever this Dr. Daniel Insidious was, she was grateful to him and his marvelous idea of a daycare center. She might have had to actually arrange a playdate with a parent otherwise. Being able to simply drop Anoki off and go about her business was so much simpler.

While Raven was overjoyed, it was not contagious. Anoki trailed behind his mother, getting his arm tugged every few seconds, the other dangling loosely in his sling. A small draconic face peeked out, comforting Anoki a little bit. Having his dragon plushie made him feel a little bit better. But not better enough to stop worrying. Was his mama really going to leave him with a bunch of strangers?

"This must be the place," the teacher muttered as she came to a stop. She rapped at the door, and while waiting for a reply, smoothed Anoki's hair with her free hand. "Now Anoki Kenelm, mind your manners and do what you're told. If I hear any reports of bad behavior, there will be no dessert for quite some time. Am I understood?"

Most of the words spouting from Raven's mouth were Greek to Anoki, but the message was clear. Be good or he wouldn't like what happened. Gulping, he nodded nervously, and waited for the end to begin.

Laial waved back before also turning his gaze towards the ibex. No, he hadn't seen him before, either. He cocked his head and waited for the answer.

Scheu stared helplessly at the clipboard. He KNEW Maji forgot to teach him something...like reading and writing. He sheepishly passed the clipboard onto the other woman standing there. "Ah, I live in Wing C, Apartment 13. Maji should be there. But, she won't want to be disturbed..."

Nexen peeked out of Scheu's fluffy tale to look at the other kids. There was two fuzzy ones, Laial, and an evil looking adult. She stuck her toungue out at Raven as a way to show her unfriendly-ness.

Daniel blinked as Scheu passed the clipboard to Raven, who left quickly without further comment. "Oh dear..." He walked over to the coon and asked him some questions. "Ok, um...right here's where you write the child's name, here's where you write the parent or guardian name or names, and here where you put emergency info down. Um, if you need help, I'll be glad to write down what you say." She smiled and looked over at the others. At least they were socializing. That's good. Better make sure none of them will cause too much trouble.

Vivina giggled and shrugged as she followed Laial's gaze to Anoki and back.. "Nice to meet you too Anoki!" She glanced over at the plushie in his arm and squeed loudly. "Ooh! That's a dragon plushie right? It's cute! I wish I had one...I saw one at the toy store, but Mom wouldn't let me buy it cause I already had too many toys at home..." She shifted from one foot to the other and tried not to scare the ibex with her hyperness.

Well, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Vivina liked his plushie, and so did he! Smiling shyly, he tugged it free and held it out for further examination. "M-Mahou gave him t-to m-me," he said proudly.

The smile faded slightly, however, when attention was drawn to his sling. Instinctively he curled in on himself, as if trying to protect the injured limb. "G-got hurt-ted." That wasn't something to be proud of at all. He could still hear Mama Ray yelling at him for that one. "A-arm g-got b-b-broked."

Anoki's eyes narrowed and settled on Laial, as if to say, "happy now?"

Daniel smiled and pet Nexen on the head. "Aww...Such a cutie...Sadly, I don't know any German...Hopefully this won't cause too much trouble..." He watched Scheu write down the info and took the clipboard when he was done. He placed it back on the desk among all the other paperwork. "No no, I don't mind at all. Just make yourself comfortable."

"That was very nice. I don't think I've gotten much from anyone other than my mom so far..." Vivina was too focused on the plushie that she didn't notice the sling at all. She blinked and looked at Anoki's arm and froze when she found out what the two were talking about. "You broke it? Ow...that must have hurt...Ooh, I have to be more careful. Mom said that if I'm not careful I can get hurt." Her gaze went from the sling to the plushie again, then over to Daniel, Scheu and Nexen, then back to Anoki again.

"Ohhh..." So his arm had to be like Laial's real arm, not bendy or anything like tentecles. "Di' you fall?" That was the only way Laial could think of that would get something broken.

Scheu bowed. "Thank you for your generousity."

Nexen turned her attention to Anoki. "Hallo. Wie heisst du? Was ist dir?"

Part of Anoki was nervous, but another part of him was enjoying all of the attention he was getting. He nodded energetically to Laial's question. "I f-fell off a b-book-thing." A pause. "T-t-twice."

Hopefully that wouldn't make him sound silly. He twisted up his face a little, then let it slacken as he listened to Vivina. That sounded really icky, and his features soon contorted again. He wasn't too fond of dinosaurs, even if they did look sort of like dragons, and the thought of one eating another made him positively queasy.

Nexen's comment came not a moment to soon. Unfortunately he still couldn't understand it, and was reduced to shrugging and repeating his former comment. "What?"
