Sasuke opend the door to the roof were the Gargoyle sat.A gust of Cold air hit him and all most knocked him over. He walked over to the Gargoyle and looked up into its stone eyes "Whats so great about you" he said over the wind but stoped he was talking to a stone Gargoyle he had to be going crazy."I dont really like Gargoyle anymore its just kid stuff" He looked up and saw the sun set He didnt see however the stone crack as the night tuched it.

The previous night had been a long one. Cosworth hadn't been able to find anywhere to get any food, so he was really hungry when the sun had come up. The day wasn't much better. All that came up was dreams of his parents, or what he could remember of them. He was almost there, almost able to reach them, then the sun set. Darn it. It happened again, so close. Well, now that he was in Manhattan it was time to see if the rumors were true. Hmmm..., what to eat? As he started to turn around he saw someone else on the roof top. Now he started to worry, could this be someone who was against gargoyles, who would try to hurt him, as had happened to his father, someone who would just run, or, hopefully, someone who might be friendly with some answers. He decided to try the last one. "Who are you?", he asked cautiously.

Sasuke almost fell off the roof at this. Some how he saved him self.However now he might have a bigger problem on his hand's."I-I'm Sasuke." he said trying not to fall.Could this be real or was it another dream.And if it was not a dream he had I bad feeling that this Gargoyle would not be as kind as the ones in his mothers storys. He put his hand in his pocket and raped his fingers aroud his knife.Some how he knew if it came right down to it he would to little harm to this Gargoyle.

Seeing that Sasuke wasn't used to being by gargoyles, as is with most people, Cosworth didn't want to startle him. Ok, what's next? Uhh, hmm, oh yeah, a name would help. Still staying low, he started to introduce himself also. "Hi,... I'm Cosworth." Ok, so far so good, "I'm from Chic..." Cosworth stopped dead as he saw Sasuke's hand reach into the depths of its owners pocket. Could it be a gun, mace, cell-phone for 911, knife, or wait, it might not even be anything bad. But, being so close to finding other gargoyles, he didn't want to risk getting killed. So, he just kept quiet, trying to keep his eyes under control, hoping for the best.

Sasuke didnt know what to do.The gargoyle was blocking his only way out.Some thing clicked in his mind.Mabe this gargoyle,Cosworth, wouldnt hurt him.So insted of trying to get by his,he ask the one thing that had been killing him from the frist moment he'd seen the gargoyle."Im sasuke.....Did you kill my mother." she said all in a rush.His hand rapped back around his knife.

"Did I wha.....", Cosworth started off. But, in mid-question, what he was being accused of hit him. All he could respond with was a slight "no", which came out only a little louder than a whisper. Knees buckling, Cosworth fell to a sitting position, his mind suddenly flooded by memories of his parents, both murdered. One from a shot to the head from a mugger's gun, and the other murdered by cancer. His eyes fell dark, flooding with the same tears that ripped through his mind. Each tear, a day without a parent's love, each accompanied by a tear in his mind, childhood memories, lost, never to be regained.
"No,... no I didn't. ....... crap." He now knew that whatever was in Sasuke's pocket couldn't be good. Cosworth's mind jumped from thought to thought, thinking of what to say. Finally it came out, "No, it wasn't me. My father was killed trying to help someone, but I'm not one for revenge. All I was trying to do here was find somebody else,.. like me."
After a silence broken only by the noise of the traffic many stories below, Cosworth looked Sasuke in the eyes, barely able to speak, it came out, "I think I have."

Sasuke pulled out the knife and dropped it it the floor. "My mom was killed by a gargoyle.I was the one who found her and she said that a gargoyle came in and killed her.I tryed to run and get help but I'm worthless and she died befor help got there.I live with my Uncale now.He tryed to smile."My mom tolled me lots of storys with gargoyle in them.I think she loved them more than any human.
