What do you do to warm-up your voice? I usually sing the pitch ladder going up by a half-step when I reach low do again. I also sing Ti la fa re do on "ca" descending. I think my favourite warm-up that I do outside of choir is singing in the shower.^^~ The steam is really good fo the vocal chords

Oh, and I remember some warp-ups from middle school:

'Mama made me mash my M&M's, peanut M&-ah-ah-ah-ah-AH-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah.. and so on'

Jonny has a nose like a ping pong ball, jonny has a nose like a ping pong ball, jonny has a nose like a ping pong ball, PIIIIING, Ping pong ball! Ping pong ping pong ping pong ping pong ping pong ball, Ping pong ping pong ping pong ping pong ping pong ball! (Repeat, mucho faster)

And there's the mamma made me mash my m&ms oh my.

Or stuff from Jabberwock, or My God is a Rock in a weary land.

Or just scales, or chords, etc.

Our musical warmup was Seize the Day from the Newsies.

That sounds alot more like solfege than a hawaiian Chant to me. It reminds me of when we practice intervals and pitch reconition

::Shrugs.:: It's a hawaiian chant according to our director. But she's always been a bit off her rocker anyway.

Though I wasn't in chorus this year(I didn't have enough room on my scheduel D smile I remember the things we did last year.
We did the alphabet, but it went fast and maybe I'll record myself doing it later to show you what I mean >.<
We also did something that went along the lines of
"Picolo mi ni pi co lo mi ni
Picolo mi ni pi co~
lo mi ni picolo mi ni picolo mi ni
picolo mi ni pi~
colo mi ni picolo mi ni picolo mi ni picolo mi ni
"

One of the best warm ups I have ever used is a siren. You go from the very highest note you can sing and slide down to the lowest note you can sing. It's best for a quick stretch if you've had time in between a warm up and performance, and it works the vocal chords fairly comfortably.

we do arm stretches to lift the rib cage and all
then neck stretches, after that we do vocal range warm ups then cresendoin/decresendoing stuff and thats it
