((Alright, so I was bored XD))

For months, Isoke had discovered herself in the care of her parents and the company of her four closest siblings. It was nothing out of the ordinary to be protected by parents until one was old enough to care for themselves, but Isoke found herself growing more annoyed with it by the day. They were told of older siblings, yet there were none that the young princess had encountered yet, and it seemed wrong. In her mind, family was supose to spend all the time they could together, and if she did have older siblings, she could see them as no family.

And that is what made her feel sick.

She wanted to meet her sister and brothers, to see just who held the hearts of her parents and to find role models to follow around and grow from. Same-age siblings were alright, but older ones, in her mind, were much better. So, there she was sitting alone at the front of the den, under the watchful eye of her parents as she was known to wander like any cub would. Her posture was stiff and her eyes set ahead, as if willing the other family members to appear. It hurt a lot to know that they wouldnt visit, but she felt today would be a good day to see them, if any. The sun was out, the winds were light, and her mother seemed to mention names over and over. So there she waited, for any sign of life to pounce upon and discover if the 'rumor' was true.

Days would go by when a dark female would emerge from the cave, happy as could be when one of her cubs were near her. Then again, there were days that the same lion was down in the dumps as the memories of her first litter growing up already and leaving to have their own children. Such thoughts were bad for the aging lioness, for it caused her to become depressed enough to stop eating, making her mate worry for her.

It was a good thing that these were not one of those days.

Aru gad watched the almost identical female cub go out, deciding to follow her a moment later. "Where are you going, Isoke?" She called out, light blue eyes looking to the small charcoal form.

"Come on!" a light huff came from just inside one of the dens near the two females, "If you want to go outside, come now." Tafari growled teasingly to the little cub who had just recently been adopted and named his brother. The light male slowly made his way out into the sunlight, his head still turned towards the den, waiting for the younger male. The soft breeze ruffled his soon-to-be handsome white mane, blowing his bangs into his mismatched eyes. Arugh... Tafari turned the way the wind was blowing and shook his head to get is future mane out of his eyes.

Suddenly he stopped, freezing up completely- the wind knocked his long fur back into his eyes, but he took no more notice of it. His blue and grey eyes locked onto the dark, older female, and then fell on what looked like the same lioness... only much smaller. He and Hasidi were definitely not alone. Maybe he should turn around now? They probably didn't notice them, right? Yeah, he'd just tell Hasidi he would have to wait a while before going out because... Er... Well, he'd think of an excuse when he had to, but for now, backing away slowly seemed the best idea.

Turning sharply, Isoke had no idea her mother had followed after. Letting out a nervous laugh, she just shifted her paws and sent her mother a light smile that made her eyes glitter lightly.

"I was just waiting out here for the siblings that should be visiting." It was an innocent comment, and said right before a flash of white and silver caught her eye, and she interrupted any words her mother could have put out, "Momma, look! There is a silver lion!" She stood up on her short legs and seemed to just glow with anticipation, but her smile soon faded as Tafari started moving away.

"Where are you going?" She called out, frowning before jumping fully into the light and away from her mother. As she neared the larger lion, she caught sight of one that seemed to be the complete opposite, stopping in her tracks and letting out a sound of awe.

"Eat you?" She said as Hasidi's words caught her attention, making her nose crinckle up. Shaking her head, she flickered her ears and looked back towards Ari with a questioning gaze. Just who were these lions?

"Hmm I don't know if your siblings will be around today or not. Your older sister has to take care of your little nephew, and your brother is out roaming somewhere I suspect it." She told Isoke, not mentioning the first male of the litter's whereabouts.

Hearing the sound of the talking in the background caused Ari to look up. "Yeah, that's Tafari, Tisha's son." She told her, sitting down as she gave the white lion a wave with her paw. The queen tilted her head, spotting Hasidi with the adolescent. "Why, who's that?" Her blue eyes shimmered as they settled on the juvenile.

A slight giggle emerged from her maw. "We're are not going to eat you, dear boy." She grinned, lifting herself to move over to the smaller male. "I'm Ari. Alongside my mate, we run these lands." She nodded, explaining to the juvenille.

Tafari's eyes grew wide, a bit of panic flashed across them as the little cub hurried over to him and Hasidi. She was so small! What if he accidentily stepped on her or something? As that thought crossed his mind, he quickly froze again, glancing nervously down at both the cub and his brother.

Now Ari was making her way over! Well... He was never one to stay hidden... It didn't matter if it was day or night! Tafari bowed his as he approached. He opened his mouth to say something... But quickly shut it. He didn't want to sound stupid to the queen! ... Okay, he just didn't want to sound stupid, period... Hasidi could introduce himself, right?

Hasidi stepped back slowly looking at both The large lioness and the dark cub. "I was afraid you'd eat me," he grinned sheepishly, his nose and just below his eyes turned bright red from embarrassment.

"Oh, umm.. I'm..Hass-Hasidi," he stuttered out glaring sideways at Tafari. Save me, please big brother!
"You're the Queen then?" he spoke to the older lioness and then turned his attention to the cub, "Who're you?"
Hasidi wasn't sure how to speak infront of the queen or sure how to act, one thing he did know was probably not making the best first impression.
"Umm, sorry I'm a bit nervous, only other lions I've seen are the Cubeater, I mean Tafari and Tisha," the red of his face deepened as he spoke.

Her ears fell sharply against her dark skull as she lowered herself onto her stomach. Shaking her head while her mother passed, she only let her sharp blue eyes peer out from the shadow she hid under. Tafari seemed to afraid to do anything, so she only looked at him for a moment before looking to the younger lion. The two weren't related, at least from the looks, for all they held were tail markings.

When he spoke, her ears sprung up and she let out a light hearted giggle. Clearly the young cub didn't know what was going on. Yet when he referred to her, she shut her maw and blinked, before standing.

"I am Isoke, princess of course." She didn't sound stuck up from the idea, just humorous about it all. Stepping towards her mother's forepaw, she rested her cheek on it and smiled again, glancing back towards Tafari. Ari would be the one to speak for now.

Ari quirked an eyebrow. "You okay there..Tafari...?" She asked the younger lion, sitting down.

The lioness giggled. "Sorry, I'm not one for lion's meat." She smiled. "Heard it's real bad for you." Ari nodded. "Pleasure to meet you Hasidi. Have you've been here long..?" She looked to Tafari for this answer. She nodded slowly. "Yes, I am the queen, though I do not like to be called one. Ari is fine." She nodded again, looking at Isoke.

"Yes, this is Isoke, eldest daughter of my second litter." She told them, purring quietly.

Cubeater?! Tafari frowned, glancing down at Hasidi. Oooh... He wanted to get pounced, didn't he? "Yes, I'm fine. Sorry... Mother said she found him and decided to adopt him as her own," he mumbled at first, but then raised his voice a little as he realized Ari couldn't possibly have heard him at first. "He's only been with us for a short amount of time, but you don't have to worry. I'll take care of him when mother's out," he added as he stared intently at his front paws, not wanting the queen to think they weren't responsible enough or something to take care of him.

Tafari was just starting to relax a bit as Ari introduced Isoke. He raised his gaze from his paws to the cub; a difficult feat as his mane insisted on getting in his eyes, blocking the majority of his sight. Isoke? That was a pretty name... Coming to his senses, the adolescent tensed up again, dropping his line of sight back down to his paws as he felt his cheeks and nose flush red.

"You don't have to worry about anyone eating you here, especially while I'm around," Tafari nodded reassuringly to his brother, "Except me, of course," he smirked lightly, simply teasing the young male's nervousness before realizing what he was doing. He quickly straightened back up, holding his breath to make sure he didn't say anything else.

Ears flattening again, Isoke could only look as her mother filled the words in her mouth, and she was unable to fully introduce herself. Shaking her head once more, she straightened at the introduction and tried to look regal enough. Yet she lost it as she caught sight of Tafari turning red, and laughter bubbled from her being once more. She couldn't help but find his appearance cute and funny, his white fur ruffling as his mane fell into the intresting bi-colored eyes. As he said the words, her laughter fell and she just blinked at him, before glancing to Hasidi.

The other was laughing now, and she felt it contagious as a smile crossed her maw. These two were quite funny in her opinion, and she was happy to see the pride wasn't all stuck up lions who didn't want to have fun.

"I for one like them, mother." She said with a sudden nod, keeping her words loud enough for Tafari and Hasidi to hear, "They are true lions, one that know how to have fun, and give our pride a sense of spirit." She tried to keep a straight face, but soon was smiling again, showing that she was only rambling the way she heard other adults go about it.

"May I play with them?"

Ari nodded. "That's a good deed, what you are doing Tafari. I'm sure your mother is quite proud of you right now." She smiled to the white lion, gazing over towards Hasidi. Her smile had widened at the juvenille's words. "I bet they can," She said softly, her blue eyes following on her little princess once more.

"I like them two, Isoke." She giggled. Then again, Ari liked most every lion! Well...except the ones Asi hated, such as Bahkti for instance. If they were hell for her mate, then they would be hell for herself.

"If they don't mind," Ari nodded, slowly sitting down. "you can go play." She gazed up to the oldest, Tafari, silently asking if the small charcoal cub could play with them.

Tafari frowned lightly as the younger two of the company laughed. Maybe he missed something amusing? The light breeze batted at his longer, white fur, distracting him from trying to think of what might have been said or done that was amusing to the two. Finally figuring that if he missed it the first time, it wouldn't be very funny when he did indeed figure out what had been done, he let out a small sigh. Maybe he just needed to pay closer attention to things. His mismatched eyes raised cautiously to meet Ari's as she spoke. She approved of him and what he was doing? The male felt the heat in his face rise even more. If it looks like he's having a bit of trouble right now, wait until he's stuck in a crowd!

Play? The light coated male gave his head a quick jerk, trying to keep his mane out of his eyes before further pondering what might happen if he was given charge of the cub and something happened to her. He flinched at the thought; moreso, he didn't want to know what would happen. Then again, she and Hasidi were both quite young. They would probably enjoy each other's company. "There's no problem if she would like to come along," Tafari said, bowing his head, once again, to the queen, "I'll be sure to keep them in sight at all times." Er... Hopefully they would cooperate with that idealist idea of his.
