Temari had taken a brief break from the day, letting her pups sleep in the back of the cave where the other dogs could keep track of them. She was going to the watering hole where she had first met Jamaa and Yakuti. And of course her daughter had followed after her. A sigh came from Temari's muzzle as she walked.
"Kizaki, must you always follow me? Why couldn't you sleep with your brothers?" She asked her daughter.
"Because mom, Kizaki doesn't like to sleep, she likes to run around." Kizaki nodded happily and walked quickly beside her mother, her turquoise fingerless glove markings kicking up dust.
She loved to tag along wth her mother when she went out. She didn't know how to follow her traveling mother when she went out at night, but during the day she would go with her. Today seemed to be a little boring though. ninja

Jamaa laid sprawled on the boarder line of the Pridelands and the Hyena infested Elephant Graveyard. Lately, it's kind of dull without Temari around.
Wonder how she's faring now....and the pups. but he shook the thought away but it just kept coming back. "But Jamaa must uphold Jamaa family's tradition, Jamaa must watch this boarder!" he said confidently only to collapse again out of boredom, "But it is so damn boring....Hyenas barely ever come." the muddy wolf sighed.

Temari huffed a bit, she could see that Kizaki was going to be one of those dogs that would eventually run off from boredom. She didnt' want that, but she knew it would happen. She wasn't made to stay in one place, well, neither was Temari.
However, the golden dog could keep her nature in check by running every night. It kept her sane.
As it was they were near the watering hole, so she picked up the pace a little and wagged her white tipped tail.
As her mother picked up the pace, Kizaki started to bound, her smaller legs not really that good for running yet. She knew that her mother was keeping an eye on her though, just from the way she kept looking over her shoulder every once in a while.
Now if she could just start running faster. ninja

A shadowy figure ran past, too quick for Jamaa to get a look at what it was and it was bounding to the Pridelands. If that figure was anything it could be harmful to anyone from the peaceful lands.
"Great, this should be fun." Jamaa quickly sprang to his feet and chased after.
The creature was surely an animal. It was nore Hyena nor Lion. However it was most defiantly an animal, but what?
"Hey, stop where you are!" he cried out. What is Jamaa thinking? Who actautally stops when they are told to 'stop'?
((Don't worry the "figure" is one of my other pets. It's my Jackal, he'll make a small appearance and then disappears, just like Axel ^^))

Temari finally managed to reach the watering hole and she dipped her long golden muzzle into it happily. The cool water washed down her hot throat and she sighed happily.
One of her eyes flicked over and noticed that Kizaki was lying on her side tiredly. She had probably worn herself out. This didn't bother Temari all that much, however there was no way for Temari to just leave. She did want to run, but she loved her daughter and refused to leave her.
Huffing, Kizaki landed on one side heavily. Why did her mother have to run so fast? She wasnted a drink, but she couldn't get to it.
Oh well, it didn't matter did it?
"Ah, sure mum, just leave Kizaki behind, she doesn't care." Kizaki grumbled at her mother softly. ninja

Jamaa continued to run as the figure headed to the watering hole. The figure disappeared into the grass. As he rushed forth a small pup stood there. Immediately the large dog pushed down on all fours into the ground as the earth gave way. His paws collided with a rock or something hard, hidden down below sending the canine into the air.
"KIZAKI!" he cried as he fumbled through the air, landing with a thud. "....ow."
He rose to his feet, alert, looking around for the figure he was chasing after before lowering himself to the pup he knew well as, what Temari told him, his 'step-daughter'. "Kizaki, where is your mother? Did you wander away on your own?"

Temari flicked her ears about as she heard running. She had to protect her daughter after all. A shadow streaked by her and instincts made her dive for it, running through the long grass after the smaller creature.
What is that thing?
Her brain rushed over a lot of things. What if it was a dangerous thing? Could it hurt her?
Kizaki looked up panting at Jamaa. Her green eyes focused on him closely and she grinned.
"Jamaa! Kizaki missed her daddy, that she did!" She leaned up and bumped her nose against his softly and yipped happily.
Her tail thumped against the ground and she looked up at him with her tongue hanging out.
"Mum is chasing something, that she is. Kizaki is just resting, she is not alone that she is not." ninja

Jamaa smiled, she talked just like him, it was kind of funny. But if Temari's daughter's here and she went to chase after what he was...Jamaa pondered for a moment. Jamaa reached down, grabbed Kizaki by her scruff, and tossed her onto his back.
"Let's go find your mother, Kiza." the canine grinned as he rushed off to find Temari.
After running for a few minutes, Jamaa saw her. She looked happy as she ran, yet serious as she chased the unknown animal. Jamaa sprinted forth, trying not to lose Kizaki, to catch up to Temari.
He came up beside her, "Temari, what is that thing?!" he cried as the two continued to run.

Kizaki let out a grunt as her body connected with Jamaa's. She looked around as she was carried over the ground by legs much longer than hers.
This was so cool! She loved the feeling of the wind on her. But she would rather swim, she was attatched to the water after all, though she wasn't sure why.
Temari glanced over at Jamaa and raised her eyebrows at the sight of him carrying Kizaki. It made her laugh. He was cute with her.
"I don't know what it is." Temari told him, able to speak well even though she was running quickly. "I think I'll keep chasing it though, as long as you've got Kizaki would you like to keep up? Or can you?"
She winked at him and dug her feet into the ground, letting herself get out a burst of energy towards the unknown creature. ninja

The figure stopped and quickly jerked around to face the other two. It's body was dark, almost b***h black, two strange round symbols that look burned onto it's shoulder. It's head fur seemed to burn as if on fire and his eyes piercing. A smirked covered his face.
"So why are you following me? Are you looking for trouble?" he said with a confident tone. "Or do you want it?"
((Note: he is not retouched yet so he's not up to the description) -----------------------
Jamaa slowed to a halt, letting Kizaki off. He rose up to his fullest height to face this stranger. It was different and he was right, not a hyena nor lion.
"You're a jackal, right?" he asked. The jackal smirked and sort of shrugged. Jamaa pushed Kizaki behind him to protect her. "Who are you and what are you doing here in the Pride Lands?"
------------------------
"Well well, what a nice welcome that is. After all that traveling and I happen to run into three wild muts!" he taunted. "Fine, I'll tell you who I am when I know who you all are." he announced motioning towards the three "muts".

Temari's fur bristled up and it took her a long second before she could talk civily.
"Mutts are we? Well, little thing, what does that make you? You're not even a dog at all. You look like a mix between a dog and a rabbit, and you're making fun of us?" She smiled sweetly down at him, not letting her anger show.
"I'm Temari and this little one is my daughter Kizaki"
Kizaki shuffled backwards wen Jamaa pushed her behind him. What was that black thing? It looked mean.
"Momma? Daddy?" ninja

"Jamaa" the brown canine growled. "We gave our names, now tell us what you want here, jackal." Jamaa was a little more serious than he is on the hyenas, if was as if that if this strange made a single move that he would kill him. Jamaa lowered his body low, raising his tail, and letting a growl echo out of his body.
--------
The jackal sighed, "The names Homu Goma'ota, but most people who worship me just call me Goma. Goma. Got it memorized?" the way he talked was belittling. But without another word he disappeared almost instantly.
---------
Jamaa stood dumbfounded at what has just taken place. He raised himself to his family. "Are you two alright?" he asked, worried that something might've happened to them.
Picking up his daughter onto his back, Jamaa started off. "Come on let's go to the watering hole." he paused. "Race ya, Tem!" foolishly, he sprinted away with Kizaki on his back.

"Im fine Jamaa, and so is Kizaki from the looks of it." She chuckled softly a smile spliting her muzzle as she nodded her head.
Then he took off, Kizaki riding on his back again, that had to be his favorite place for her. But to run? Silly.
A laugh came from her smooth muzzle and Temari took off after him, her back legs digging into the dirt and hurling her past Jamaa. She was the fastest dog on the Savannah, no other dog could outrun Temari of the Wind. Or at least she hadn't met the dog that could yet.
"Come on Jamaa! Keep up slow poke!" She yelled back to him playfully.
With a yelp Kizaki was tossed onto her father's back again. She did like it up there, but at this speed? Sheesh!
She lifted her head to the wind and watched her mother speed by her. But her mother was gonna win! She was gonna beat dad!
"Run daddy! Beat mom!!" She yipped out happily.
Oh what fun it would be to beat mom! ninja

Jamaa grinned leaving his trot into a full running speed passing Temari as his daughter yipped and cheered. Jamaa knew well that Temari loved to run, and after being limited with her pregnancy she must be really wanting to.
Jamaa dashed ahead, being careful not to lose his daughter, to the watering hole. Most likely many animals are already there getting their afternoon drinks.
"Come on, Temari, you can do better than that!"
