In a loosely related story, a hearing was held on capital hill that invoked the name of MySpace and other so called social network websites that cater to teens (Gaia Online escaped their attention and wrath for the moment

Justin Berry ran his own male modeling website for 5 years. He started when he was 13. Now he's calling foul, despite the fact he was the webmaster of the project. Now for some quotes...
Quote:
"My experience is not as isolated as you might hope," Berry told the House committee.
"This is not, as so many want to believe, the story of a few bad kids whose parents paid no attention. There are hundreds of kids in the United States alone who are right now wrapped up in this horror."
"I was paid by more than 1,000 men to strip naked, masturbate and even have sex with female prostitutes while on camera," said Berry.
http://www.abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=1803413And now he's shedding crocodile tears before the House while tens of thousands of other teens are posting their images on the web in places like My Space. Guess he wants to be a victim now that his business model has petered out.
The flood gates are already open. I doubt anyone can close them now. Even if the Senate and House pass laws, the means to enforce the kind of laws that would purge child pornography from the web would fall in the hands of the ISPs and web sites, none of which want the job.
MySpace is just the tip of the iceburg.
