oh, i think most of us simply wish we were there. biggrin I know Tsuki Chan is going there soon. I want to go on a trip my sensei put together this summer, but if I ever make it to Japan it probably won't be until after I gradute next spring (I hope to do JET then).

i will be in 21 days 2 hours and 48 mins ^^
wooot! can't wait to get out of this boring a** hypie town and
being in a real city ^^
and in a country that takes education sreously...
(maybe alittle too seriously...but that's ok ^^)
has a decent nation wide heath care coveraged
and is no loger all gun ho about attaking and invadeing
every other contry in the world

Need to look into that. you probably won't be eligible for a while but it's still a great opportunity to go to Japan and actually get paid.

DeathOfSoul I wish I was in Japan... but I won't be able to go unitl next Summer (not this Summer) or the Summer after that (my senior summer vaction before going to College) you're so lucky, I only went to Australia for my senior trip biggrin . Nah, it's cool, at that point I didn't have much interest in Japan yet. mintymoon; wow, 9 months in japan? How is that going? Is it fun, or do you miss home yet?

Lived in Nagoya proper for four months, and will be in Toyota for five. Its fine, but I do regret the fact that the Meitetsu overcharges for rail fares... Quite honestly, it was cheaper for me to get to Yokohama from Tokyo than it is to get from Nagoya to where I live in Toyota by a good 500en. :/ I'm not even that far away. emo
But beyond that, things are interesting here. I liked the atmosphere of Osaka more though....
