In a couple weeks, my mother will start scheduling my councelling appointments to try and "turn me straight". Thinking about it is devastating and depressing. We can't afford anything right now, but she's so opposed to WHO I AM that she's spending money she really needs to save. Now every time a friend spends the night, she asks me if I like her. She asks me to point out in the car rider line who's gay(of course i lie). Any characters I plan to cosplay as at anime conventions, she asks if it's really a girl character, and if she's a lesbian too. She gives me this LOOK every time I hug a girl.
I can't stand it.
The b***h thinks councelling will make everything better. It makes me furious. Pardon my language.
I hate myself. I hate my family. I hate religion, and school. I hate sounding like a whiny, selfish complainer-- the type of person i despise the most.
Being in the southern neck-of-the-woods, it'll be hard to find a gay-rights-supporting councellor, especially with my mom being the one choosing where i go.

Dude... You could always lie so she'll stop sending you to counciling. Like go for a few weeks and kinda not listen.. then pretend to be straight and keep it secret.. dont even put it on your diary. That's what I'd do...
You could run away and stay at my house. lol Cause I live in NC too.. domokun

And if I pretend to be straight then she'll rub it in my face that i was wrong and she was right, and never let me forget it. She's that type of person and it pisses me off.

Thank you ;_; crying This is great, considering she also already printed out lots of internet crap full of gay-bashing statements and so-called "facts" about how it's wrong and can't be tolerated. Now I can 'fight fire with fire' or whatever the saying is. That jerk thinks she'll always have the upper hand in this.... maybe this'll help bring her to her senses.

I think I got lucky with my mom whom has turned out to be more understanding than I thought she'd be. Just, no matter how much "therapy" she puts your thru, dont forget who you are. Well I dont doubt that you could take it. I just thought I'd offer since we're both in NC. You wouldn't have to go far if you did need some place to stay. 3nodding
