Alright, well... Some of you may already be aware of my occupation as a member of a Paranormal Investigations Team. I know that the job doesn't pay, but I like doing it and I hope to maybe help people one day in doing this. But anyway, I made this board to post some of our cases. I'll post things such as EVP readings, personal experiences, thermal imaging camera findings and so on. I'll also answer any questions that may be brought up whether out of curiosity of the subject or just plain questions on evidence.
Please keep in mind that I am a medium, however, I only use my abilities when I need them and prefer to not rely on instinct while on a case. I do it frequently, hwoever at the request of my boss but, ayone who's ever seen a show where a medium does a reading, you all know that there are those unbelieving people who call them crackpots and whackos so... >__>;

I've always wanted to work with the whole paranormal investigation thing, yet never quite gotten the chance... though I do work with just digital photography to see what I can pick up.
I've been meaning to save up for some equiptment to do tempature readings, sound recording, and the like... but I always seem to spend all my money on other stuff. I have no money saving skills whatsoever. XP
Be sure to post the results of some of the other investigations you do! ^^

Well, personally, my dear, I am extremely familiar with how well you save your money xD. However, the equiptment is like.. Uber expensive. Good thing Jay bought the stuff and not me {grin}.
Still shots are usful too, but it's harder to determine whether or not 'orbs' are actual types of manifestations or simply a random piece of dust that perhaps landed on the camera. This is a problem we have when we review all the film from an ivestigation. Sometimes you think you see an orb hover across the camera, but you have to look closely. You can tell by the movement of it whether it's actually a being or just some random piece of ignorant dust screwing with your investigation.
My point is, even though still shots are useful, it's better to look at it from a skeptic's point of view, because, since there's no movement involved in still shots, you have to look at it semi-logically. With all of us being mediums, this is a difficult thing to do but, if you want to actually open others minds, then you have to be sane about it. When you catch something that you can't explain, then don't explain it. Leave it as evidence for others to interpret however they see fit. If they except it as something supernatural, so be it. If not, well hey, you can't convince everyone ^^

Yes, yes... with some still shots it's sometimes difficult to dertimine what may be an orb, or what's just dust, glare, or moisture.
But I do try my best to analyze the photos I take and see what can and can't be explained. A lot of things are just glare or moisture, but those I can't explain I just leave open to interpetation. 3nodding

man, i really need the two of u to help me with my medium work.
Im glad to say my channeling is somewhat decent, and i seem somewhat sensitive to "touches", but besides that, help me pleeeeease!

Alright everyone... Teh Tash is back with a brain teaser for ya. This is something very odd that happened to me on a previous investigation just a short while ago. As I wasn't the one who recorded everything, I forget what the exact date was. Anyway, here we go...
While we were doing a night-time walkabout of the building, me and Mike, another member of the team were down in the lower level of the house. Not the basement or the first floor... Somewhere inbetween yet still underground... It was weird.... Anyway... As we were heading back up to the main floor to meet up with everyone, something or someone left two large scratches down the left side of my chest, starting at about the middle of my neck. Here's the strange part...
Afterwords, Mike and I went out to the van so that we could use the lighting and not disurb the others in the house who were 'manning their posts'. We were rather... Confused to discover that my shirt hadn't been torn in any way, yet the scratches went down to about the top of my breast. A little unnerved by this, I decided to bring Pheebs into the house and do sort of a spiritual walkabout. Now... For those of you who know Pheobe, she's... Well... A bit childish for her age. I won't say she's an idiot because, truthfully she's not. She's simply immature.. But then again, aren't we all? Anyway... Pheobe is rather good with sensing other risdual energies. I'm telling you this... We searched every inch of that building and neither of us sensed a thing.
When I realized it was probably some poltergeist who went from house to house, I asked Jay if I could go and do a little search of the area. Luckily, the same people owned all the abondoned buildings in the small area so I could go in them all. Still, I found nothing. Later that night, when I came home, I decided it had been either a hit and run... Or some kind of S-Class spirit or, possibly, underworldly activity. This... Did not exactly bring me comfort and I still feel a bit uneasy, almost like it's still lurking about. But, unfortunately, none of my spirit guides can sense it... So... I need help... Opinions... Something. C'mon guys, help a girl out.
