Gaia Homes have been released, and I read the announcment here http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6383085and it seems like the first home you choose (bare default home) is free, but I can't see the previews of the 3 choices in order to choose properly, and all the other images are loading so slowly if at all, so it must be really busy with everybody all excited about it! Now we've got something else demanding my gold! eek

Ooooh, a really neat feature is that you can add yourself and up to 5 friends in the home, which means tangodanser can come stay in my home with me! heart
EDIT: Since gaia changed the filename that avatar images have, everyone has to re-save their avatars or else they'll show up as Red X's, and if they're put in a house, the house will break! Lisa has no way to re-save her avatar, so I can't put her in my house with me anymore unless gaia admin can go into her account and manually re-save it for her. I've emailed support to ask about this, but have not heard back.

I love all the goodies you can get for you house. And we can see everyone home too. Please tell me what you all think... I spent so much, I couldn't afford a table. But I love it!!! biggrin heart biggrin

I have a home--don't know when I'll get around to furnishing it--probably once the rush is over--I still want my Kimono, so I'm going to concentrate on that now.

Woohoo! i can't wait to see if we will be able to use the homes as a hangout base . then that we would be so cool . kind of like "knock, knock, can i come in and chat" ..i am gonna get so broke , so quick . must get my fatasy_boy to spend more time online , cheaper than using the telephone and i can earn gold gossiping with him too.

eek All of our homes have been blanked! Even the really, really nicely decorated ones I posted in my thread. Oi, some people are gonna be upset. But mine was easy-peasy to put back like it was.
