Now, I know every magic player on Earth goes to MTGSalvation to read the new spoilers. What does everyone think of the new cards? Infernal Tutor just spells BROKEN. Gonna be restricted in at least one format. Hellbent on a whole isn't too bad. I'm not liking these names though..."Gobhobbler rats"? "Cranky Hufflepuff"? Come on, R&D, get better names. Oh, and Transformation is the SHITZ. It is so going into my U/G deck, and its gonna bring up a bunch of rules questions...So, discuss.

infernal tutor is rather overrated, in my opinion. Definitely not going to get banned or restricted. "Cranky Hufflepuff" is just a placeholder name MTGS is using until the cards are translated. The real name is something along the lines of "Howltrotter Indrik", though it'll probably be a bit different, as translation is hardly exactly literal.

Meh. I just hope they don't neuter the Infernal Tutor to make it completely unplayable like they did Wreak Havoc.

Hellbent is AWFUL! Sure, in block in won't be TOO bad, but in Standard. YUCK!
Yeah, you're vreatures get minimal bonuses, and you're in topdeck mode while your opponent is beating the tripe out of you with card advantage.
Come May we'll see Owling Mine DESTROYING Rakdos. And you can quote me on that!
On an upside, YAY! SPLIT CARDS! Crime//Punishment is AWESOME as is Supply//Demand. I can't wait to see what other split cards are in the set. Maybe even COMMON split cards. Ohhhhhhh
The Simic and the Au... Az... Blue-White guild (leave me alone xd ) are going to rock. The BW will be a definate tournament viable guild, while the Simic will be played all over casual.
I love the flavour of the Simic, I had no idea how R&D would make it work, but they did biggrin
