Dixie Carter would be in her office after being announced as the new General Manager for Friday Night Throwdown. She would be sitting in her office chair, with some reading glasses on as she would be going over paperwork involving future storylines for the show going forward.

Matt Gennison would be walking down the hall, as he would knock before coming in to meet his new boss. He would have the CWF World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, and one half of the CWF Tag Team Championship over his shoulder. "You wanted to see me?" as Matt says, coming in. He would sit his tag belt over a empty chair, standing in front of Dixie's desk.

Dixie would stand up when Matt came in, and she would have a smile on her face, looking to shake his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I've heard good things about you, and I am absolutely a fan of your in ring work. I'm excited to see what you can do to elevate Friday Night Throwdown under my watch." Dixie would be eyeing Matt Gennison up and down, enjoying what she was looking at for sure.

"Thank you. I'm a fighting champion, and I'll take on everybody and anybody, at any time. If you need me to the ring right now, I'll be there! .. even though truthfully, I'm not exactly 100% right now. Trent and Ryback did a number on me at WrestleMania." Matt Gennison would say, as he pulls open his entrance jacket and shows his bruises on his ribs.

"That's what I've been meaning to talk to you about. You're beat up, and I think you should take the night off tonight, and you have the night off for Bad Blood as well." The fans would begin to boo, since the segment was being played on the big screens in the arena. "As CWF World Heavyweight Champion, and a valuable member of the Throwdown brand, it's in best interest that you're protected." Dixie would open her desk and grab an ice pack, where she would hold it onto Matt's ribs, and hold his waist with her other hand to apply pressure to help him heal.

Matt would have a concerned look on his face. "I'll use tonight and Bad Blood off. But next week, I want to give these people a show!" The crowd would begin to cheer as he would show he's a fighting champion. "Ah!! Cold!!" Matt reacted to Dixie's ice pack on his body. "But yeah, um, next week, how about I issue an open challenge? I'll defend the CWF World Heavyweight Championship against anybody."

"Hmm.. if you really want to. But just be careful." Dixie would say, as she held the ice pack on Matt's body, very closely and looked into his eyes as the tension was now there and the fans would notice immediately. Dixie and Matt would be face to face, locking in eyes.

Dixie would then grab Matt's hand to let him hold the ice pack himself, as she would back away. "Oh! Have you met my Nephew?"

EC3 would step into the camera shot, as the audience would begin to cheer loudly just to see a new face in CWF, and on Friday Night Throwdown. He would be standing next to Matt Gennison, looking off into the distance, then he looks at Matt. "Top One Percent. Nice to meet you." EC3 extends his hand to Matt Gennison.

Matt Gennison would look at EC3, as he knew who this guy was from way back then. "Matt Gennison. World Heavyweight Champ." Matt shakes EC3's hand when he extended it.

"My Nephew will accompany you to your matches from here on out. I know you don't necessarily need it, but someone has to ensure your safety." Dixie said, putting her hands on her hips.

"Uhh.. I really don't need a manager." Matt would grab his tag title, putting it back over his shoulder. "And I already have a tag team partner, as you can see." Matt would say, as he subtly adjusts his tag title over his shoulder.

"Listen, Matt. In this business, people come and go. But it seems you're on your way to going to the top. And guys like Trent, will just hold you back. I mean, look at what he did to you!" EC3 points at the bruises on Matt's body. "All I'm saying is, I wouldn't do that to you. I'm here to have your back."

Dixie looks over at EC3 when he speaks and she would nod her head in agreeance. "Just trust the process, Matt. EC3 will follow you to the ring next week. Who knows who will show up anyways right?"
