I am interested in unraveling all of the mysteries of magic and its place in the universe. With such a passion for truth, I can come across as skeptical at times, as I like to see the proof of claims that have been made rather than believe in blind superstition. I am incredibly perceptive, and I appreciate people who are genuine. I don't have a lot of tolerance for people who are clearly pretending to be someone they're not, and at times can come off as brash or sarcastic, able and willing to use my words to cut straight to the quick when I become annoyed with someone. In addition to my more academic pursuits, I also enjoy exploring the realm of music and poetry, and using them as a form of self expression when there is no one else to talk to. On those days, the stars and my guitar are my best, most loyal friends.Mყ bᥲᥴkgroᥙᥒd storყ ιs a short one, as I've not lived long. My mother was muggle born, while my father came from an established wizarding family of Celtic origin. They met at school and married young, though perhaps not for the best, as they've started bickering more and more lately. My mother has always thought very highly of herself because she was the pretty, popular girl in school, more interested in learning new charms to gussy up her appearance than studying anything meaningful. My father on the other hand was always the bookish type, though he had a certain grace and charm about him that inexplicably drew people in. My father would say that the day I was born was the happiest day of his life, and it's true that he took to family life quite heartily, while my mother seems to have a bit of disdain for anything that doesn't fit into her perfect little boxes. Like me, for example. Let's just say my interest in collecting taxidermy is not on her list of ladylike behaviors. Needless to say, I ended up growing quite close to my father as he shared with me his interests in astronomy and herbology, and encouraged my love for music by gifting me my first guitar for my tenth birthday. I can tell that he wants me to grow and learn all I can, though he can often be quite overprotective, as though he's not quite ready for me to grow up and spread my wings. But honestly, I'm kind of excited for the chance to leave the nest and grow on my own for a bit, once I start school. Just don't tell him I said that.I ᥱᥒjoყ stargazing, playing my guitar, hanging out with my dad, reading, and collecting taxidermy.I dᥱsριsᥱ when my parents fight, snobbish people, clowns, unoriginality, and brussel sprouts.I'm ᥲfrᥲιd of losing my family.Mყ strᥱᥒgths ᥲrᥱ that I'm very observant, and highly driven once I set my mind on something.Mყ fᥣᥲᥕs ᥲrᥱ that I'm quick to judge, and have a hard time opening up to people.I ᥣook ᥣιkᥱ this.
