Between school, mentorinng with Luciana at the watch shop, and his own projects took up a lot of Kinsey's time but he hd decided to check out new library he'd heard about online. There was no way he'd ever hear of a library in high school, from some classmates, kids his age rarely went to an acctual library as it wasn't much needed since books were digital and on audio. It wasn't a bad thing though, he had a love for books and that inluded digital ones, but a physical book was just as good in his opinion. So when he'd heard about the lirbary, and that it was supposedly big, Kinsey had decided tgo take a long walk from school to the library in order to check things out in person.

That being said Kinsey was glad he was bundled up, it was cold today, and while he was half Norwegian he was not built for the cold like they were. He'd never been there and he wasn't so bulky as to have a lot of body heat, he was tall and slender in build, the cold winters here were also not as bad as the ones in Norway; or so he assumed. That said the blast of warmth when he entered the library was much appreciated and even garnnered a sigh of pleasure from him.

It took a moment, a moment in which he savored the heat, before his pale eyes finally looked around him. "Oh." He could understand now the posts he'd read online about this place, they weren't inaccurate. The place was big and had a certain opulanace to them...but it had suffered at the hands of father time....though that could have been worse. The place was still standing after all, and it wasn't in as terriable a shape as othe such libraries, though it could use some updates and pehaps be made into something fa more eyhe catching and grandious. Could anyone fault him, as he walked further into the placed, for imagining what this place could be made into - what it could become? He didn't think so, especially for those who actually knew him. He was a creative person who liked to plan, design, and create things which came from his imagination; which was fueled by the many books he read.

Arlen Halibert was, for once, peaceably drawing.

Was he technically on the clock? Why, yes, yes he was. And while he understood that it was probably not the best choice of his time to be leaned over the front desk, pouring over a sketch page he wouldn't ever show anyone, he didn't think anyone could fault him for trying to occupy himself during an otherwise monotonous time.

No one really came into this particular library. Whether it was due to the distance, the rumours of haunting, or the state of partial disrepair the old girl was in, Ye Bochord's halls stayed just busy enough to keep them receiving stipends from their county, but that was only barely enough for the payroll and the utility bills.

So.

Arlen didn't have the means to fix anything he couldn't fix himself—and he'd never really been a "Fix-It Man" or anything of the sort. Nope. He could barely get thumbtacks in the wall sometimes.

To say he was surprised when he heard the bells above the door jingle, signalling a new patron, Arlen's surprised couldn't be overstated enough
He shot up from his drawing, shoving it back behind the counter unceremoniously.

"Oh. Wow, ah—hi! Welcome to Ye Bochord! Can I help you find a book in particular?"

"Nothing in particular." He'd sort of hoped no one would notice him, he liked to go through life without notice, it was easier for him not to be noticed or thought of by others. It meant there were no questions, no looks and whispers, and no olne piecing together things. It wasn't always easy to go without notice though, he was rather tall and he'd once been told that his eyes stood out as they were so pale, but he had hoped for that when he walked into the library. Even more promising, when it came to being unnoticed, was that the worker at the front desk seemed to be preoccupied with something. It looked like they might be drawing; though what he didn't know or care.

"I'm just here to browse." Casting his eyes gaze around the room, not at all surprised the smaller details which spoke to the places age, this place really needed moe funds so they could repair things. Maybe he could put his social media account to use to try and help this place? Mind you Kinsey never posted on social media, he was not that social, he used it to keep up with things and e what certfain people in particular were doing.

Maybe it would help...maybe he would post about this place, though first he should dig into the places history, if he could appeal to those who liked history and even architecture as both were groups who would be interested in this place. Both groups might also have deep pockets with which to help this place.

Hmmm....
