Mirror space was vast, Liam wasn’t even sure if there was an end to it, it could be ever growing for all he knew. It was hard to keep track of a place that was all white, and long hallways with doors here and there, it was boring and enough to drive a person mad. Liam felt like it would be an effective punishment for a person who had committed a heinous crime, leaving them to wander these hallways forever, the lack of anything to do as well as no one around would drive a person to depression and lunacy he was sure.
It was why he didn’t go there often, there was nothing to do, the only thing to do there was to look about for crystals, which weren’t so easy to find, beyond that there was nothing which mirror space offered. Mirrorscape was different but a place he didn’t go to often, the idea of building up an island, a blank island, that was so large was nothing short of daunting and while Liam didn’t shrink from challenges…he shrunk from this.
He’d built up Aloysius, built a life for himself and for the other, he’d helped in cleaning and repairing a manor and making it into a home. There was collage and a career as well. So many things he’d toiled away at, a long hard path walked, but he’d built all these things for himself. But to build a slice of a world, where no life would exist, seemed hollow and daunting at the same time. He was trying, slowly, but it felt like it would take several life times to make the area into anything of note. The sheer amount of crystals he’d need just to get grass, and that’s if he only ever found green crystals, was unimaginable for him.
Why he was going here - to mirrorspace was almost beyond him. But he knew why….Agatha. Agatha had asked and he’d consented, maybe she’d find the citadel where senshi arrived when entering the mirrorscape, to be interesting as he couldn’t see her finding the white hallways of mirrorspace to be of any interest. He hadn’t warned her though, maybe he should have, but he would let her make of the places as she wanted…let her venture as she wished. He was just waiting by the large mirror in the manor for her, there was one mirror he used more than any other in the house.
Powered up, his signature smothered by a certain mauvian, Melpomene waited. Maybe, if he was lucky, he’d find one of those unique crystals…maybe not.

Sitting in front of her vanity, Agatha looked over her appearance one more time before adjusting the ring on her finger and pulling the henshin out of its drawer. The instructions and limitations of the thing were both on a piece of paper, as well as forwarded to her on her tablet for when she was powered up. The new watch that she had from Desireee would ensure things were done in a timely manner as well, something she appreciated from the mauvian.
Putting it on, she stood up and powered up, looking in the mirror again with a pleased smile at the face that reflected in it. Lightly tan skin, brown hair ombre into green, and not a hint of the alien features that she knew might give her away. Fixing a stray strand of hair away from her face, she left the room and headed up the stairs to the large mirror Liam had shown her before.
Something about the mirrorspace seemed interesting, and she had been mildly curious about it after reading a few of the novels that were fiction from the collection of books on the shelves in her room.
Looking down the upstairs hall, she knew one of the rooms was where both men slept. Even now, she could hear coughing from the one she didn’t quite like. But her attention returned to Liam, well, Melpomene, as she approached him and the mirror.
“Desiree did very well, she’s such a dear.” Offering a smile as she looked at the man, she was in a much better mood this time, powered up since the last time with the wolf-like creatures.

“Indeed, she normally does. Desiree is very diligent and makes sure everything comes out perfect, or as close to it as she can manage.” The mauvian who had long ago claimed his spouse as her own, she still slept with his scarves, was a family member they couldn’t manage without and he knew it. The only thing he worried about, or even thought on, at rare times was did she have the life span of a cat, a human, or something else entirely. Because if she had the life span of a cat…that would ruin things when she passed - Aloysius would suffer tremendously. So would he, and now Agatha too.
That wasn’t something he liked to dwell on, or even think about, because the very notion of losing her was something he’d like to never think about. She was such a needed part in this family.
“Ready to see what is beyond the mirrors surface?” He questioned, holding a hand out to his fellow chaos senshi. She looked different, not better or worse, but the changes were dramatic. The skin was different in color and while the hair had some of its unnatural color it looked more like a fading out dye job, it looked unassuming and like something you might see anywhere else in this city. It looked good, but did she like it?
“What do you think of the look? I mean you seem to like looking like everyone else normally. This is good for you as well?”

Taking his hand, she nodded. “Yes, let’s go look.” It was simple enough to do, apparently, for the other, but the concept of stepping through what was otherwise a solid object was fascinating. But then she did notice him looking her over, and she raised an eyebrow as he did so. At least until she heard his question.
“Yes, it matches that glamour Desiree made for when I’m out and about as Agatha. I quite like it, and now that it works across both sides, I won’t have to worry about any pests from before that might recognize me otherwise.”
It was a relief and something she was glad had been done, though now that meant some of the responsibilities that came with being part of the Negaverse would get added to her plate finally. But from what she was gathering, there was some level of understanding given to her special case. Something she was again relieved about.

“I did wonder if you’d at least want your normal looks when powered.” To look like herself, rather than constantly looking like a normal human, but it seemed she liked being human in looks. She wanted to fit in, which would make living here easier, but it wasn’t such a bad thing in the end. Though he did wonder what would happen if she ever decided to date someone…that would be a huge secret to keep, and Liam was a rather firm believer in not keeping secrets from those you dated. At least not if it was a serious relationship.
“Alright, let's head into the mirror.” And with her hand in his Melpomene led the way right past the mirror's surface. While others, like Portia, might find the passing to feel odd or even uncomfortable he was used to it. It was something he’d done enough times that it was second nature and the feeling of passing didn’t even register to him, it wasn’t something which he noticed. Rather what Melpomene noticed was white, all the white, it was always like this.
It felt empty and hollow…too big. “This is mirrorspace.” Already the words were slipping past his lips, his feet taking the first step forward after they’d arrived. “If you spot any crystals let me know, they are a bit random in when and where they turn up - if they even turn up.”

It was a valid question, even if she hadn’t felt the way he probably thought about it all. “It’s easier this way. How else would I live out my time here in peace if someone recognized me?” Not to mention how she wanted to distance herself from the version of her she saw in those fractured memories.
With their hand holding hers, she shivered at the feeling of cool water as they both stepped through the mirror. It wasn’t something she’d felt before, and she wasn’t sure she liked it either as she looked herself over for wet spots, considering how it had felt.
The blandness of the area around them was.. Interesting, and she took a moment to look it all over as he mentioned what to look for. The fact that the item she was tasked with helping spot could be rare had her scrutinizing the blank walls more for a moment.
“I see.. Crystals similar to what Desiree and…” pausing for a moment as she tried to place the powered name to the face of Liam’s husband, “Chalcanthite, that’s it.” While the man was in charge of her, Desiree was the one she listened to, and rightfully, they’d left her alone otherwise after she’d made it to that manor.

“I understand.” And he did but appearance was tied into so much, how someone felt about themself, how others felt about them which affected a person as well. There was so much tied to appearance. To not want to look like yourself was an odd concept for him, though he supposed he could consider this similar to people who dyed their hair and inked their bodies. It was as close as he could get in relating it to something which did make sense to himself, as an easier way to understand it.
“Yes, similar but not the same. These crystals contain a little bit of power, and allow things to be created - flowers, grass, water, light, other small things. But it helps in the mirrorscape.” He would show her, he hoped, as he had his fingers crossed for them to find a crystal or two. If something was found he would put it to use, in order to show her what they did, Melpomene assumed she’d find them interesting at the very least - because they were.
“Would you like to lead the way, go where your feet want to take you?”

With the task at hand, she took another glance down what seemed like an endless hallway and decided to go the opposite direction. While she didn’t particularly care about where they ended up here, she was happy to wander and examine the blandness of it all.
“Desiree had said that things were different for you compared to what I can expect regarding things. I guess these spaces and the crystals are part of that, as well as the fact that you use those mirrors to get around.”
It was just an observation as she came to a fork in the halls, unable to continue forward and only being able to go left or right. After looking back at Melpomene, she nodded to herself and decided to take a right.
“It must be so easy to get lost here. How does one find their way around anyway?” Teleporting seemed unlikely, and with how it all blended together, she wondered if it just came with time, a sort of muscle memory of the place.

“Yes, things are a lot different. We may be chaos, the same as those who follow the Negaverse.” Like she did. “But things are very different, as you can see. We don’t have a homeworld, like order, but we also don’t have offices or training rooms or anything like the Negaverse has. No youma, no meeting chamber. We don’t have a single ruler or anything. We just have royal senshi but that’s it.” They had to build things, their version of homeworlds, but they were nothing like the Negaverse and its senshi.
Letting her lead the way Melpomene followed at her side, a half step behind so she had the lead, incase she turned he would have time to follow and turn as well. “There is no way to find our way really. If you leave something here, in a room or the hallway, it will be somewhere else the next time. So there is no way to mark things.” To leave a way to get back, or to know where you’d already investigated. Following her to the right he sighed, running his hands through his hair.
“For me I just leave if I get lost. But I also don’t come here much, it’s not a place I like, it’s too boring and endless. There isn’t much here for us. The mirrorscape offers more but the amount of time it would take to make it into something…it would take a lifetime - or so it feels.” But Aloysius liked going there with him, so he brought the other with him.

“Of course…” Speaking a bit sharply at the mention of homeworld and order, she waved her hand away at the topic before they continued. It was during this distraction that her heel bumped into something. Stopping, she looked down at some sort of crystal before looking back at Melpomene with an odd look.
“So, even you get lost in this place?” It seemed like a joke that the group he was part of didn’t even have knowledge of its own domain. From what she remembered of the offices in the dark kingdom, they were all organized easily, and finding someone wasn’t difficult either.
It did leave her a lot to think on, even if the wandering through these blank halls seemed so daunting yet interesting at the same time. They did irritate her slightly, though, as if they were pushing at some button she no longer remembered but still felt.
“Perhaps another time then, if this is what you’re looking for, at least something came out of it?”

"Yeah, I know I've been lost a fair few times. To be honest it's one reason I don't come here. The other being how boring it is here, there is nothing really to do. Aside from the hall of mirrors and the golden mirror, where we go in order to join the dark mirror, there isn't much else where really." And with so muich whiteness, along with all the winding hallways, it was easy for him to get lost. He felt bad...he really did, he shouoldn't get lost in his own domain so easily, but how could he not?
"Think of it this way...this area isn't really ours. We aren't corrupted per say. Our starseeds aren't corrupted at all. It's just a mirror coating over them. So in a sense we aren't even corrupted - we don't really belong." It made some amount of sense to him, they didn't fit into either side entierly and so this world of theirs also didn't fitand wasn't really theirs entierly. "What I'm trying to say is that it makes sense for us to have a realm that isn't really ours...that has so lilttle in it. Mirror scape is made up, by us, as time goes on, and here is a blank canvas with no painter."
Looking over at her...and than down he stared for a moment. "Yeah, that's the crystal I'm talking about. They turn up at random, you never know when or where, but they allow us some control of things in the mirror scape." It really was an odd state of limbo they were in really, and how many outside their court knew this? Knew the state of their starseeds? Approaching Portia the blond knelt down in order to pick up the crystal, they really were pretty, he'd been working on collecting them with the plan to use several all at one and see what happened. He was hoping for big change all at once...to go from nearly nothing to a whole lot of something. [/coplor]
