XXXXXXXXXXA Backstory
Born in a small town on the edge of a river, he grew up in a rich family that gave him everything he could have ever dreamed of. His brother, sister, and him were inseparable, and he grew up in a happy home.
When he was eighteen, his brother started acting strangely. He spent more time sleeping, and spoke of a girl that Silas had never met. Soon, his brother slipped into a coma, and when he awoke, a girl materialized beside him.
The problem with dreamscape creatures, is when they are manifested, they are there only because of the deep wish of whomever dreamed them. But in order to be given life, one must be given in return. A year later, Silas's brother was dead, and the girl disappeared.
Torn by the loss of one of his closest family, Silas became obsessed with the dreamscapes and shadow realms. He researched for hours, and weeks. Soon, they turned into months, and years later, he found his answer. Using his sister Alexis' blood, he tried to open a portal into wherever his brother was lost to.
The power was too much for a mere human to handle, so he stole magic from demons, writing their very spirits and souls into his own flesh. He became a chaos demon through his own work. When the portal was open, however, he lost control, and his home, and everyone he knew was killed. He heard their screams of agony as he and Alexis were transferred to wherever it was he had opened a portal to.
Bits and pieces of his family home were melded into the walls of the caverns the two woke up in. Alexis, of course, blamed him and left immediately to be on her own. However, Silas found out something quite interesting. Because of what he had done, he was now immortal.
They moved from place to place at that point, never staying too long in one location, not wanting to draw suspicion. The world was far behind where their own was in technology, and the people were primitive. Silas used this to establish himself, and become quite prosperous again.
Centuries passed, and Silas was losing his mind slowly.
