Note: Since Staff's being linked the barebones and it's malleable "Script"wise to adjust on the fly for the event this is dominantly the "Eingine" for the Dungeon and the initial boss rollout! thi
s is so if staff plan/want to nick this for the shoip later this os ready to build from and yoink. Options/Variables from RNG thuis are being kept as a D4. A D6 is an option for cases more options are useful! As this is the first run of the dungeon "Engine" for me, I'm aiuming simple.


The Channels

This was not where you were last. Perhaps you were patrolling. Perhaps sleeping (How responsible). Perhaps you were doing something, anything. But not this.

What you first notice is the smell in the air. The chill of the seaside regardless of season, the biting salt and sea air, the scent of fish and ocean and clean air mizing into the perfume of the sea side. You could wake anywhere. Upon the ancient wood of a great sailing ship, be it frigate or ghalleon or something else. Perhaps you wake inside a building papered in strange charts in a language you can't hope to understand. Regardless, this... Is not Earth.

Slowly, yoiu join the others on a surprisingly stable pier - it looks like it was once a marketplace, with goods and spoices, but now nothing remains but abandoned stalls of unknowable goods. It might even be picked over -- llikely, Almadel or someone like him - but regardless of what happenedm, all faces gather here, as if led by some unseen force. Archiutechtural guidance. All about is stone and sstructures, a city built into the island you find yourself on. and as you talk, something quickly becomes unsettlkingly, uncomfortably clear....

There is no breeze. No wind.

The air feels dead.

Then the rest falls into place. There's octopus motifs all over, iundicating some ancient culture was here. Definitely a homeworld. The dead air offers some clue. And then... You hear it.

Fiitsteps. Heels cliocking on worn stone and muiimbling before she appears. Long blonde hair, Ordeer, in pinks and purples - is that a tentacle skirt? Are those pearls? And then the senshi looks up, blinking at the assembled ctrowd in surprise, brown eyes widening as she looked the crowd over. Syurprised.

Slightly shy, nervous, before squaring up.

"Ohhh... Oooooohhhhh." The Senshi p[auses. "Oh holy hells... Okay. Hi. I'm Limosa." She blinks, looking around, then at a map in hand. "I guess you're all here to help. Er. Wether anyone asked opr not. Sorry. I - sorry." Limosa seems embarressed. Homeworlds can be mysterious... At least she's hospitable.

"So.... Yeah. I'm Limosa. And I guess IO need help down below the city."


Quick Rules

1. Official updates occur oince a day from Limosa herself! Might be late at night/early, early AM but I will try to get in the posts daily. If I am missing... I mean, I shot staff backups with consent to cover anmd advance warning. Woo-

2. You may make 2 posts a day, per character. One MUST involve interacting/triggering an RENG element!

3. No deleting posts. If you forget a rull, consider it as a 'null' roll, and absolutely nothing happened. However, please use the dice next time.

4. You run on live HP, meaning you CAN be knocked out if you're unlucky!

5. No stage swapping whatsoever. That means if your character just grew, you CAN NOT use this RP for the upograde from any cats to get more HP! You can RP at the stage you have art for. This also LOCKS any players whom unlocked a stage 4 character. Your character must arrive in Stage 4 form to recieve the bennies opf stsge 4! Otherwise you are locked at stage 3..

6. I'm not a total Godking of Misery. EVERYONE regardless of stage or faction gets 1 free 'Revive' from Limosa and 1 free 'Small Heal' of 20 HP as well from her. I want this fun so if things look dire, for everyone I do intend to have Limosa help reveryone. Her main job however is to walk you through to the end.

7. Assuming RNG likes you/isn't drinking again, any trinkets found are NON-=MAGICSL and mostly fglavor. You're allowed to keep Mementos! Even if it's in the form of some alien marimo or something.

8. You are ENCOURAGED to use magic this event! So... Ignore use caps. Consider it my way of helping. This means healing magic if your senshi has it especially. Please don't make me cry and regret this. XD

Day 1

Roll that D4! The corresponding number is the event your character faces today!

1. You step on a switch and something in the wall grinds as if freeing something... But nothing happens. It seems like whatever was meant to happen since wiothered away... How sad.
2. You find a small sea shell. Pretty!
3. You step on a switch and barely dodge a dart! This place is trapped! the dart does 1 damage grazing your skin.
4. You step on a switch and with a clicjk you see some small ctabs rush you! Aw,m they look cute!... Until they begin to pinch you aggressively. You defeat them with a single blow or use of magic, but you take 3 damage. Ow! little jerks...

Day 2

1. You find a switch in the wall and a feeble barrier blocks harm to someone in the group (Player's choice!), p[reventing harm for 1 minute. Useful!
2. You find a... Marimo? It's cute bvut maybe you shouldn't keep the cute algae ball.
3. You step through a trip wire and when it snaps, darts fly, injuring you for 3HP!* If someone gifted you a barrier via RNG, this damage is nullified.
4. You step on a switch and large crabs attack! The only thing these guys are good for is eating hot, with butter! Ow! Tajke 5HP of damage!

Day 3

1. Find a strange small spring of clean water. Something in the water seems to make you feel a lot better. Heal 3HP!
2. Is that sea glass? What a lovely bit of glass! You pocket it, for not, or leave it.
3. [The crabs hate you. They run after you and do 5 damage to your pride. Rude little things.
4. Is that octoipus not cute?... OW! It bit you with it's beak! Take 8 da,age! At least a single blow keeps defeating these horrible creatures....

Day 4

1. You find a crate of... Some kind of liquid in a vial. It.. Seems safe. When you drink it, you restore 5 HP! Nice!
2. Find a carved gemstone octoipus. It's actually well made with golden or silver filigree to compliment the stone. You pocket it, for fuin. Seems luckly.
3. Tiny octop[i are attacking the crabs. That's great!.... Get attacked by a tiny octopuis for 5 damage. Nevermiond, now it sucks.
4. A large octopus comes for you when you pass a hole in the wall and bites with it's beak! OW! Take 8 damage and take it our with one blow!

Day 5

1. You find another switch. When you press it you hear grinding... And than a trickle of faintly glowing liquid appears to trickle out. It seems the basic it enters is made for drinking from and there's enough for you. Heal 10HP!
2. The ground trembles... And you tripo! You've landed funny, taje 3 damage!
3. Is the ground shaking?! You stumble and fall, actually twisting your ankle! OW. That HURT. Take 8 Damage!
4. The ground is shaking! You don't fall but something comes off the wall and hits you! OW. Take 15 damagw!!

Day 6

1. You accidenmtally bump into the wall. And there's a brightly glowing liquid on it? Yoiu heal for 10HP!
2. Touch a... Magic fresco of a massive octoipus? Fascinating! You gain a barrier for 1 minute. Soimething tells you you got lucky....
3. The ground is shaking more violently now! You stumble, if your ankle doesn't already hate the world, taking 8 Damage!
4. This place is still shaking! You stumble onto a trap switch and are viciouslky attacked by... Crabs? What...? Take 15 Damage! Those pincers seem... Strangely strong....

Note to staff from Engine build: The 4 weapons do noit need destroyed to best the boss! This is merely to remove attackjs on players, so that thjey can mitigate the damage done.

You enter a colossal chamber that initially appears empoty, and withing the walls appear to have once been part of an undersea cavern, likje the rest of this place, although the walls are painted in frescores and magic coral illuminate the place. In the center on a pedestal lies a shimmering topaz, illuminated by an impossible internal light that flickers as if blowing with.... Wind?

Before the party can grow near the ground shakes... Violently and then you hear it and see it.

Metal on stone, whirring, chuffing, grinding, but present. Akin to a mix of modern drone and steam pounk monstrosity emerges a six legged aberration in reds, steel, and rust. The body is like a towering crab, and the claws hiss as they slam shut. Small energy cannons rest up front. This is the shaking source, this is.... Well a giant of a ctrab - it seems all of them were some ancient, decrepit automata, and still dangerous!

Limosa suddenky moves. Instead of helping or opening doors and the like the senshi moves quick as possible and slams her palm on a switch. The Automata grins as Brachyura turns to face everyone, not shutting down. No.

Instead a drizzling of glowing water rains on everyone from above, offering a healing effect.

And then Brachyura fires it's weapons.

Gain 12 RP from the healing liquid, after the splash damage!

Will you attack the body itself... Or focus on those weapons?!

Switch to attack dice it's time for the main event!
