**This is a branch off from x. Odain has left Joy and Neona to speak with the code.

Odainsaker wasn't sure why she was concerned as she parted ways with Joy and Neona. Neona knew the wonder well and after all she did invite Joy to keep Neona company while she dealt with whatever this might be. She'd paused after walking for a moment to put some space between herself and the other two.
The squire after a few moments drew a deep breath before moving on. She didn't mind the code, but she didn't interact much with it. Perhaps, she was a bad knight? She wasn't sure. The last time she'd spoken with it there was the whole thing where she needed to find it and well, it being on the largest island was a bit of a walk.
There was a moment as she paused something had caught her eye. The squire tilted her head and looked around to see where the color had come from. It didn't take much before she noticed there was a butterfly, perhaps the size of a Rajah Brooke's Birdwing butterfly. If she had to guess what the size of it was. But there was a stark difference in the fact that the wings were translucent and what had caught her attention was the fact these translucent wings looked very similar to a stained glass. With the colors and the light traveling through them.
"Oh.... this is interesting." She said softly as she held her hand out for a moment. Watching as the creature landed for a brief moment before continuing on.
It seemed almost as if it was a sign, perhaps something meant to encourage her? She wasn't sure but butterflies were typically creatures of change so perhaps it was a positive omen.
When Odainsaker arrived at the codes home she paused for a moment closed her eyes in a quiet moment before entering the small shrine. The outside had columns and statues of different faes. The temple always felt cavernous to her. And it had taken a while for her to realize that the code was not in the vaults themselves. It was just the original way that Neona showed her to access the code.
The temple was much easier access point when she was finally trusted enough by her ancestor to be shown the entrance. Odainsaker knelt before the code, quietly giving it a moment to collect her thoughts. Then after a moment, she gave a soft nod and sat down legs crossed and hands in her lap. She thought perhaps she just needed to sit with the code until she understood.
She wasn't sure if she needed to speak to the code why she was here but she wanted to take a moment to let the peacefulness set in. When she was ready, she looked at the code. "I'm afraid."
She slowly started with a pause, "No, worried. My weapon doesn't feel as if it is mine anymore." She said softly, "It appears wrong, and doesn't always work as it should."
She couldn't explain why she knew that but she hoped the code understood. It seemed as if the quiet continued for a while before the code told her to present her weapon to it. The squire nodded and did as instructed.
She couldn't say how long the process took but she was rewarded by following what had been spoken and soon found herself with a new weapon. She held it in her hands as if it was something to be in awe of. Taking a moment to spin it and swing it. The arrows had been replaced with a bo staff, opalescence in color with stars engraved across the surface.
The squire gave a soft grin and bowed to the code thanking it profusely for assisting her. Perhaps the butterfly had been a good omen indeed. The squire left the code, there had been a training ground she thought. Perhaps she would take some time there before returning to Neona and Joy. It would give her a chance to get use to the staff that she now held in her hands.
