For those soquili with a green hoof, it is almost time to harvest before the summer sun wilts crops. Does your soquili partake in any farming or gardening? If so, what do they plant? How do they care for their garden? Do they work solo, with familiars or are they part of a herd or family who work together? Are they farming for food, are they gardening flowers, do they grow herbs for medicine or are they trying to conserve or restore a damaged plot of land?

If they don't farm or garden, why not? Do they not have the skill? Have they killed every plant they've tried to keep alive? Do they want to learn but don't know where to start? Maybe they can reach out to a farming or gardening soquili to get some tips! If they don't farm or garden, how do they eat? Do they live off the land and forage for food or are they hunters?
Write an RP responding to the above prompt telling us about how/why your soquili farms/gardens if they do. Or why not if they don't and what they do instead.

Xanthippe, or Xani as her friends call her was tending to her gardens. She loved growing things, the love, care and attention required made her feel like she was needed.

She had a garden full of varying species of flowers. On the opposite side she had a rather large vegetable garden, behind that was large berry bushes that she also tended.

She made her home on the outskirts of a heavily wooded area and lucky for her there were some fruit trees within a short distance of where she planted her gardens. She tended to those as well, to make sure she had fresh fruit and the trees were kept healthy.

The sun was shining, a soft breeze swirling about her as she toiled in the soft rich dirt. It was fragrant which tickled her nose causing her to laugh. She gently placed the seeds, added a special blend of fertilizer and food then covered gently with the dirt before moving on to the next hole and repeated the same steps. She hummed to herself as she worked, a few hours later all the rows were done, and she took a large watering can and watered row by row until the ground was wet enough.

Sighing, she refilled her water can and watered the fruit bushes and trees before stopping for the day. The sun was high, bright and hot. The air around her was beginning to feel very hot and stagnant, the wind had almost dissipated and it made the air feel heavy. She was happy she finished in time and went inside to clean up and make some food as she was ravenous.

Taking her food outside, she sat under the large overhang off the roof in the shady corner and looked at her gardens with satisfaction. She now had 3 separate vegetable gardens in varying stages of growth and 2 flower gardens both in full bloom. The smell was incredible outside her home. The colors of all shades were dazzling against the green landscape.

Some of her friends asked her for tips and help with their own gardens and that was rewarding in it's own right.
