Out of all of the Soquili in Okeley's friend group, he is truly the one who would stand chance caught in a blizzard outside. Coming from the deep north of Kawani, Okeley spent his winters alone or with one or both of his mares watching over the lands for those who migrated south for an easier lifestyle. You see, he grew up this way, his parents raised him to watch the lands and keep the avalanches and snow from ruining the homes of their neighbours and such. He became a beacon of hope for Spring. Okeley also welcomed guests and trade up in the north during the deep winters, he loved to help those lost in the deep snow to find a way out and back on track to their wished destination.

Okeley stood strong in the blizzard, keeping a watch out over the small enclave his friends and Lilliana had found themselves hiding in to tough out the storm. Okeley was a rare soul who welcomed this cold, he did not fair well in southern summers but he found a way to weave blankets, scarves and knits to trade south. It was only recent that Okeley got to take on the winters with others around him back at home. He had been on his way back with Lilliana and it was upon their reunion with friends to start their trading route that the mountain front blew through.

Okeley swiftly helped the thinner Soquili of his friend groups find shelter and then stood out as a beacon of vibrant blue hair bustling in the strong winds. His mane and tail acting like a shimmery, electric blue flag in case a lost soul in such a heavy snow and wind was so lost and in need of shelter. He didn't get scared of much, his temper he was known for truly was 'levelheaded'. The only time he had quivered in fear of weather was the time he witnessed a double-tornado-event. He was glad he had listened to Aviva and her creative way of ducking into a deep ditch and covered herself from being taken by the tornado. Aviva, and Cyprus, were amoung the friend group now that stayed in the cave with Lilliana to tough out the late snowstorm. The mutual respect warming the brown and blue stallion.

Perking his ears up and attentive as he felt a part of his thick winter coat that had stuck around just like the snow this winter, he took note of how it had moved on his withers. A set of four little paws that would have gone unnoticed if whatever little creature hadn't shouted into his ear that she had found her way tucked up behind his ear. "Friend! It's Roseberry! I was almost buried alive out here, please allow me refuge in your thick mane?!" Roseberry, a tiny little mouse with a fancy set of wings had been battling the blizzard under the blanket of snow but she had been quivering and quick to chill. After finding herself on top of the snowbank she was flung into her friend Okeley. With a deep laugh, he had given her a quiet understanding rumble, moving slowly through the squall into the cave to tuck her into the thick fur of Lilliana to warm up. That was Okeley, in a dangerous storm he was the well balanced hero for any of his loved ones. Even those as small as Roseberry.
