Trier idly wondered if there was really anything but Knights in the city. She knew, based on what she had been told that there were. But she had yet to meet anyone…so when the aura popped up and felt…different. Not bad just. Different. Trier made her way towards it, cautiously optimistic that it would be…something else.
She was rewarded for her bold investigation, for it was something else…something…very else. The colors that the person wore were lovely, like a sunrise on a spring day but…there was absolutely a tail. And…strange ears…goat ears? Cow ears? She wasn’t sure, and it didn’t matter. There were horns too, and tiny wings peeking from the person’s back.
“Huh. Okay, enlighten me please, I was hoping to meet someone who wasn’t another Knight, and now I’ve run into…you…what are you, if you don’t mind my asking?”
She was trying not to be rude, but. This was. A lot. So.
Trier was doing the best she could. “I’m Trier, Page of Saturn, just…so I’m not being rude.”

Tianyi was more than a little surprised, to be addressed so...directly. His ears flicked, and he tilted his head to the side, pondering the Page before him. Was she new and inexperienced? Perhaps. That would make sense.
"I'm Tianyi," he said. "Sailor Tianyi, that is. A Senshi, a warrior meant to bear the heart of a planet and protect it from harm." The phrase came out like a recital; the words his tutors had taught him over and over again, when teaching him his responsibilities. "So no, I am not a Knight. And I am also not from your world."
Id she was so confused, though, he should clarify, probably.
"Most Senshi are, now, as I understand! From your world, that is. I'm one of a few...lucky? Ones?" Perhaps. "Who survived on isolated worlds and were drawn to Earth recently."
Oh, that was so much. To just drop on her out of nowhere. But oh well.

“Oh…uh. Neat.” That was a lot of words and concepts that Trier wasn’t quite sure about all wrapped up into one very ruffle centric outfit and she simply nodded, as though she understood perfectly, because. Sometimes that’s what you had to do. “I’m…glad that you survived, I suppose not surviving would have been…really awful. And your outfit is really beautiful. I’m still in the process of learning…all of this and I’ve only ever run into other Knights before so. Excuse my enthusiasm…do you have magic?”
The question was…not planned. Trier wasn’t going to even ask it, hadn’t intended on asking it but now that it was out there…
She wanted to know. And to see what it was like. For. Science. Or just because she was morbidly curious.

"It is neat, isn't it?" Tianyi had learned the phrase, knew that it was mostly positive, and if she seemed a little baffled, well...he'd done his best, hadn't he? Explaining a lot of very difficult concepts very quickly without getting "into the weeds," as he'd heard people say.
"I do have magic, yes! For me, it comes form my sphere of kerria flowers," he said, and he lifted off his flower crown and held it out to show her. "These lovely things. We called them something different on my home planet, but they were sacred to us. Represented nobility and prosperity. So my magic makes people listen to me, the way they would someone in power." His main magic, at least. The new little spell he'd found on his world was different, but, again, bogged down in details.
"Do you? I don't really know much about how Knights worked, I never dealt with any."

“What…does it do? Your magic. Would you be willing to show me? I don’t mind if there are negative effects. I can assure you that I think I’ve dealt with worse.”
Necro’s magic still…upset her. But. It was best to get friendly fire before fighting others with magic who weren’t friendly. She could perhaps figure out the best way to…deal with it if she ever needed to in real time.
“I don’t have any magic, but I’m told I’ll get some if I grow stronger. I think…I’m trying to get on a path to do that. Or at least. Trying. I know I have some things to do on my Wonder, I’ve still not gone there but. It’s on the list.”

Well. This wasn't the first time Tianyi had used his magic on someone to help them, rather than to try and stop an enemy or draw an attack towards him and create an opening. He knew it could work that way, had seen it do so; so he simply gave a brief nod.
"I can do that," he said. "But yes, you absolutely sohuld want to get stronger. There are plenty of dangerous things on this planet." To say the absolute least.
He took a breath. If he could help, could expose her to this particular variety of magic, that would be a good thing.
"Blossoming Decree," he said, and then, shifting his posture, drawing himself up like the Imperial royalty he had once been, he said, "kneel."
A mostly harmless order. Maybe a little embarrassing, if it worked, but nothing too terrible.Quote: Super Sailor Scout Attack: Blossoming Decree! Trier wasn’t sure what kind of magic this was going to be, but the flowers were lovely…she wasn’t sure why she was being told–
And then she was kneeling. It was as though she had no real choice in the matter that…
Oh that was uncomfortable. Not the kneeling. She wasn’t old, it just…being told what to do? Not understanding quite how she got there. Obviously she had knelt but…
“Okay…” Trier shuddered. “I hate that. I see how it’s…useful but…jeeze, that’s some magic you have. Absolutely hate it though.”
…It would be useful on Cordell though. Getting him to maybe pick a guy who wasn’t an absolute a*****e...

Tianyi's smile became just a little woeful.
"Such is," he admitted. "But it isn't designed to be used on friends." Only one person had ever seemed to like it, and that was...complicated, anyway. "I usually use it to make people stop what they're doing, or encourage them to fight harder if I am using it on an ally."
He thought of the one officer who had been so greatly offended by his powers, and sighed.
"I'm sorry. I understand it can be an unpleasant experience. But I hope it wasn't too bad?" He offered a hand to help her back up, in case she needed it.

Someone liked it, hm? Okay, so a revision on the idea of using it for Cordell. What if he just did enjoy being…bossed around.
Nope. Nope, Trier was not going down that lane of thinking and she took the proffered hand, getting to her feet. “It wasn’t…unpleasant. It was just. Startling. I have no real…recollection of telling my body to move like that, I wasn’t expecting it. It seems like it could be very useful. The only other magic I’ve seen has been fire that…didn’t allow me to move? And made me feel extremely tired…and tiny unicorns which…ripped into some kind of winter beast. All very different but…interesting all the same. I want…to see what I’ll end up getting…I hope that we cross paths again and I’ll be able to show you.”

Tianyi nodded, encouragingly--he hoped.
"You'll come into your own," he said. "And I'm sure your magic will be quite useful. There's all kinds out there, and everyone can help in different ways, using it. So even if what you get doesn't seem useful....it will be, someday."
He had never even considered his magic's use, before coming to Earth. It had simply never been a tool he considered worth applying. No problem ever really required it. But here....he'd learned so much.
"Good luck, Trier. I hope to see you again as well!"
