History:

Childhood: Freya, the younger of Fianna and Lochlainn MacDavis-Grey, was born on September 1st, 2056, coming into the world in the manner most of the Greys’ children have over the years. She was born in the Grey Priory, delivered by her great-grandmother, Mother Grey, in the comforting presence of the extended family. While her older brother was there, Linsey was not, nor was her Aunt Lynn, as her cousin needed to go to Hogwarts, even though she wanted to stay and be a part of Freya’s birth. Growing up in a family with a strong magical tradition, Freya became well used to having magic around her from the earliest time in her life. Another fixture in her life was having her older brother vanish for large portions of the year, and hearing about this place called Hogwarts. Quidditch and music were also fixtures in her life, as her mother and aunt were longtime members of the Irish National Quidditch team, and her parents were members of a Celtic rock band known as the Causeway Hares. Meanwhile, her brother and cousins formed the Mad Rabbits.

School Years: As is traditional, Freya attended the primary school affiliated with the church that the Grey Family has been fixtures of for centuries. She quickly learned she had a family name to live up to, and her teachers remembered her older brother and her cousin, Linsey, fondly. Learning to play piano from her cousin, Ella, and other instruments from her family, Freya’s singing talent came to the attention of Happy and Weldon Adams, the music directors of the church, and she soon was a member of the Youth Choir along with Ella; the same choir Linsey has helped with for many years.
