Carrollitte was out and about looking for those she could just pull little bits of energy off casually to hit her bare minimum numbers. So far no one seemed to question it, and she was okay if it stayed that way at least for now.
The lieutenant sighed as she just lightly took the energy from someone and paused for a brief second feeling an order signature. Her eyes rolled and she sighed already annoyed as it seemed something was making her itch just ever so slightly on the back of her hands and her arms that were exposed.
The snow of course was freshly falling but she didn't think that would be the issue. She dismissed her small orb of collected energy hoping the order signature where ever it was, hadn't seen it.
She didn't want to deal with the harassment over energy gathering, she already hated it enough.
Cut Cold (16) : The latest snowfall looks normal from a distance, but the moment it touches your skin you realize something is off--each flake feels sharp, abrasive, and strangely gritty. Brushing against it leaves your skin itching, stinging, or marked with tiny scratches that sparkle faintly as though dusted with crushed glass. Even bundled up, the snow manages to sneak into sleeves and collars, leaving patches of irritation wherever it melts. It’s not enough to cause serious harm, but it's annoying, uncomfortable, and unpredictable. Sometimes a long, warm shower is enough to dispel the agitation, or sometimes it goes away on its own after a day or two. It's not a common feature this winter, but no one can quite explain why the snow has taken on such a biting edge this season.

It had to be the snow, he thought.
Haik was ambling through the quiet streets of Destiny City, doing a rather standard night patrol for any signs of Chaos causing any kind of trouble, and every bit of visible skin seemed to be red and puffy and irritated. He looked none too pleased by it, but was doing his best to grit and bear it. He'd be home soon enough, and he planned on asking Jishui for her thoughts once he got there. If it wasn't the snow, maybe she'd have heard of something in the winter air that could cause this to happen.
He noticed the Chaos signature and started walking towards it, his eyes focused on the state of his arms so he didn't notice anything strange about them when he finally looked up. He blinked at the perfectly innocent looking agent, then slowly narrowed his eyes.
"I always get more suspicious when I run into one of you guys not doing anything," he said, his expression certainly one of suspicion and uncertainty. The reddened skin, though, might have made him look a bit too ridiculous to be taken seriously.
Carrollite could only sigh when she was finally confronted by the order signature, "Of course you would." She said irritated at the way he said it.
Her arms crossed as she tried to ignore the fact her chest was starting to feel the effects of whatever was causing the itching. It almost reminded of her fiberglass which -- fantastic if the snow had become fiberglass only in Destiny city would that happen.
"Its not like there's some sort of strange quota we have to hit to be considered efficient." She added, as she narrowed her eyes, "Of course you all wouldn't know about hitting numbers to make sure you stay out of trouble. It seems order is just lackadaisical." She added, though she was starting to think it wasn't a bad idea.

"I've heard something like that before, I think," he lied, though it sounded like it made enough sense that he began to wonder if it might actually be true. "Leave it to you guys to think of an organized method to terrorize perfectly innocent civilians."
Haik frowned at the agent even as he moved to scratch at his arms. They were covered in puffy, thin red lines that looked as though he'd already done a fair bit of scratching. Which he had, in all his irritation. Not to mention stubbornness not to go in and take cover, or just go home early. Though he realized that it was probably lucky that he didn't, otherwise he wouldn't have run into this agent.
"Don't you have better things to do with your life?"
He scratched on but started moving into something of a loose fighting stance, staggering his feet and slightly hunching his shoulders. Agents could teleport, couldn't they? So he had to be ready in case this one decided to try and surprise him.
She continued to look irritated at the deep space senshi who seemed to not really care to understand. "Terrorize? That's what you think this is? That all of us willingly terrorize civilians?"
She paced, if only she could teleport. She'd remove herself from this banter. "Of course there's better things to do but you try being in an organization that requires certain things. It's almost like a job."
She sneered at him, "And mind you not all of them are innocent. But hey who cares? It doesn't matter if they do things that are unsavory they don't have an energy signature that screams out hey look at meeeee I'm doing s**t I shouldn't be~! Because oh those are still innocent people but those who have an energy signature different than you are suddenly enemy number one. Maybe that thought is the problem; have you thought about that?"
She had summoned her light string and was playing with it now trying to not focus on how dumb she thought this one was and debated on how to get out of this situation.

"I have my reasons," he said simply, lip curling. Considering what Chaos had done on his homeworld, it only made sense that he didn't see anyone aligned with Chaos in a very positive light. Most reasonable people, at least as far as he was concerned, likely wouldn't. It wasn't like the majority of people volunteered to donate their energy for their cause. If they ran drives to receive energy donations the way other organizations ran drives for blood donations and the like, then he'd probably take a lot less issue with them.
That, however, was certainly not the case.
His eyes snapped to the string she was playing with, absently scratching at the spots on his skin where the snow was falling. Which was everywhere, because the snowfall had gotten a little stronger.
"Besides, if it boils down to being a job you don't even like then why not quit? Have you ever thought about that?"
Carrollite looked at Haik curiously when he said he had his reasons and she shifted on her feet, "So why not give me suggestions on how to do things better huh?"
She was still playing with her light string as she thought, it seemed a lot of order were all the same always with the answer to the problem but never a method of how. "Oh, all you order folks are the same."
She said irritated at the fact they thought it was so easy just to quit, "You should just quit. Just walk away, have you not thought about that." She gave a rather dramatic performance of the question putting her hands up to her cheeks as if it was a horror sort of thought before dropping them and sighing. "If you all are so smart how come you don't have the how to quit it. All I ever hear is the end."
She finished by putting her hands on her hips. "You try to get out of an organization who also has your sister and probably wouldn't hesitate to force you to stay. I've heard no means on how to get to the end of quitting something I dislike and not finding myself on the business end of this particular thing you take issue with."

Haik curled his lip distastefully as she shot questions one after the other at him in such a manner.
"Oh, well sorry if you have to do any kind of leg work to get yourself out of the nasty situation you're in," he shot back, though looking a lot less intimidating or threatening given the state of his skin and the fact that he was still scratching at the various spots on his body that were being pinpricked by the falling snow. "Are you supposed to be some kind of," and he paused to try and think of something to compare her to that she could relate to.
The last time he'd compared someone to something on his home planet, the remark had lost some of its edge.
"Some kind of damsel in distress or something, just waiting for someone to swoop in and carry you off into the sunset?" Yeah, that sounded...like a good comparison. It felt weak, but it sounded like it made sense.
"And if it were me, I would try to take my family wit– what is this stuff?!" He glared skyward...and regretted it immediately, as a snowflake fell squarely into one of his eyes.
Haik was really starting to push her buttons and she was trying very hard not to lash out beyond the annoyed tone she was giving him. But he kept pushing and making her feel like she wasn't doing enough but she didn't know what to do.
"Maybe instead of judging and preaching against something you don't understand how it works maybe you should learn about the issue too before you open your trap." She hadn't heard of any way to get out, she knew they could force corrupt.
"You could end up on the wrong end of a higher up negaverse agent and get corrupted yourself." She added. "I'm trying my best to figure s**t out but it seems wholly I might be stuck here."
When the snow fell into his eye, she was itching some but she was luckily dressed perhaps better to keep from being as itchy. Mostly her hands and chest. "It's called snow." She snapped, "Maybe you're allergic to it or there's fiberglass in it."
She snapped her christmas lights in frustration though close to him but not actually at the senshi who decided to be a jerk. She didn't need his opinion of her situation really. She also started walking since he'd gotten the snowflake in his eye. She felt like he'd try to blame that on her with the way he was acting.

He glared after the agent as she started walking off, one eye puffy but closed against any future damage from the snowfall that, for whatever reason, was particularly irritating to his skin tonight. It'd never done it before, but maybe there was something about that night that was causing it to be this way...
"Is that a threat?!" he called after her, and then, out of pure frustration, raised his hand and focused, using his magic to push her further forward and away from him. "There! Let me help you run away from your problems instead of maybe having a real conversation!"
And with that admittedly rather petty move, he turned and bolted for home. No sense in sticking around to get pelted with more skin-irritating snow. Or possibly some kind of attack from the agent he'd just magically shoved.
Basic — Haik speaks the name of his attack and makes a sharp gesture with his hand, mimicking the direction of the current he wants his attack to follow (toward/away from him or to the left/right of him). Those standing within 15 feet directly ahead of him will feel themselves being suddenly pulled in the direction his hand mimicked for 15 seconds. It will feel as though they’ve been taken up into a strong current, and they will feel the sensation of being cold and having some difficulty in breathing for the duration of the attack. They are free to move and attack from within the current, though it might be difficult. It’s possible to be lifted out of the current, and one could actually move out of it if they happen to be near the edge. He can use this 3 times per battle.
Carrollite sneered at the deep space senshi as he asked if that was a threat, "Keep ******** around and find out sir."
She said indigently. She wrinkled her nose as he said she should have a real conversation instead of running away from her problems. and then some how she got magically shoved away from him and he was running,
She yelled back at him, "If people wouldn't have attitudes right off the bat; others would be more interested in working through their problems and having a real conversation so stop judging the book before you read it!!!"
Carrollite knew she should've expected that but it made her mad that he was just so .... rude right off the bat and no one seemed to care why she was keeping up appearances of the energy draining until she actually decided what she was doing. She stomped off scratching from the snow that was being super itchy.
