Quote: Snow Glow (15) : On especially cold nights, strange puffs of light rise from the snow like warm steam--only this 'steam' glows in soft, sparkling colors and moves in slow, liquid shapes, like wax escaped a lava lamp and is rising towards the sky. Scientists insist it’s an unusual, but natural, phenomenon caused by pressure and temperature changes, but that doesn’t explain how the lights react when you reach for them--swirling around your fingers like playful, weightless ribbons. Sometimes, around these strange pockets, the snow beneath your feet glimmers when you step near the lights, and coming into contact with the glow results in it clinging to your skin or clothes in faint, shimmering patches. The luminescent residue fades after a few hours and has no lasting effects. Magic~ Alexi was magic. Shifting into Windsor was easy, and felt so natural it was almost like slipping into a soft pair of pajamas. They loved it.
Going out at night was an absolute adventure now, and that…was fun. It was amazing, there were things…people mostly to feel...and not in a creepy way, but like…a magical way. And the city itself was…doing some damn magical things too which…made the excitement go up to level ten at least. There was the feeling of someone nearby, and Windsor was absolutely going to go and introduce themself, but there was something…strange going on with the snow and it absolutely had Windsor’s full attention. It was beautiful. Colors that were coming up from the cold mounds and…he wanted to touch it.
…Windsor wanted to eat it really. It looked pretty enough to eat.
Of course, as the aura came closer, their attention was pulled away from the lights to greet the newcomer and.
Oh.
Damn.
“Woah, you are ripped. Holy s**t you’re so hot.”

This wasn't the first time the snow had behaved strangely- or rather, everything was already strange, so he did not consider the reappearance of snow-lights to be more strange. Lovas thought of them as little more than an interesting backdrop to an already-interesting city. Other things held his attention a bit better. When he felt an aura, he always found himself pulled to it. Curiosity, mostly. He'd been the only one with any such signature on his world, so it was just... bizarre to go out nearly every night and find someone new. Someone who could power up and protect the planet- or condemn it, in some special cases... But this one- tonight's aura- it was the friendly sort. Kind of reminiscent of Regal and Sawtooth's, but... perhaps not quite as strong. Another Knight. Lovas barely even had to catch sight of them to realize that they didn't represent a familiar planet. Not Saturn or Chronos. He didn't recognize their symbols at all. And they certainly stared. Perhaps they were not very acquainted with many aliens, yet. Lovas' fanged smile quirked his lips. "Ripped?" He asked, peering down at his shirt. A finger came up to trace the split in his top, just beneath his pecs. "No, it is not a tear. It is always like this." And he did not find it weird or shameful to be showing off a bit of very.. shapely... underboob. Though it did seem like an uncommon thing to do here. He understood 'hot' a bit more. "Ah ha! Yes. This is a relatively common appearance among my people!" Being tall and more built more for physical altercation- as there often was. "It seems less so on this world. I have found almost everyone to be on the smaller, skinnier side." A tip of his head, a finger at his lip in thought. "Though I've not found it to be unsatisfactory," Lovas admitted, letting his gaze wander down to a thin waist cinched with a sash, form getting trousers clinging to slender legs. "I am Lovas."

“Ripped is another way to say you have incredible muscles. It’s a compliment, one hundred percent.”
Windsor’s eyes roamed shamelessly up and down Lovas’ body and they licked their lips in appreciation. “I’m Windsor, Page of Cosmos, it’s fantastic to meet you. Where are you from? You said your people?”
Fangs. He had fangs. Be still Windsor’s heart. They wanted to feel how good it would be to have those fangs mark him up. How Windsor kept from growling was…honestly impressive.
“Smaller, skinnier has been forced upon most of us. It’s the ‘ideal’ look that people chase after. I’ve always just been blessed with a super high metabolism, and I’m tall so. The lithe thing has always worked in my favor. I do enjoy people with more muscles though. You’re. Not sure what your other people looked like, but you certainly have my attention.”
Holding out a hand, Windsor nodded at Lovas’ own. “May I?”

"Hm?" He smiled as he tipped his head, brows pursed in a very slight confusion. He'd said... his name was Lovas. And he was a Senshi. And so obviously he would be from Lovas- But perhaps it was not obvious. All of the human Knights and Senshi were from Earth and only knew... 'Earth things(?)' until they came into their power. Which as far as Lovas understood could be literally whenever. "Yes, my people. Lovasii. They all looked strikingly similar to me: skin, hair, physique- there was not so much variety on my world as there is on yours. Oh. Besides the eyes. No one had eyes like mine." "But I thank you for the compliment! I am still in the process of learning your social arrangement. There are many humans who seem to live very close together, and I have seen no large predators... Perhaps smaller is better for this setting? I have noticed that it is a bit of a detriment to stand out. Many... eyes on you." Lovas stepped nearer, to the point most would consider it crowding. But this little Knight reached for him, and it would be terribly rude to ignore such entreaty. ...Except he did not know specifically what this entreaty was for. "May you..?" Lovas echoed, eyeing the offered hand and the Knight's little nod toward his own, where it was still at his lip, thoughtful. "Touch?" He guessed, taking the other's hand and lifting it toward Lovas' face.

“Really? That’s interesting! I’m very new to this whole Knight thing, like…I came into this two days ago or so? I’m still learning, but…” Windsor drew closer still, looking at Lovas’ eyes and nodding. “They’re lovely! What do the eyes of the others look like? And, yes.”
Reaching out, Windsor took the Senshi’s hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it. “I do adore purple, it’s one of my favorite colors.”
Taking a half step backwards, Windsor grinned. “No, there aren’t any predators who attack us…other than other humans, honestly. We’re our own worst enemy. I haven’t met any of the capital C Chaos yet, but I know for a fact that humans themselves are their own type of chaos so…yeah. We suck sometimes. I’m a great example of how humans should be, at least I think so. I’m happy to answer any and all questions you might have~.”

"My! Only two days!" Lovas' suspicions confirmed. "There must be some wisdom I can offer you, as someone who has been a Senshi for centuries. Alas, it escapes me. The circumstances are different on this planet than what I am accustomed to, and the Knights I stay with have told me that my way of things is not always appropriate for this planet. I fear I would steer you wrong." But he did know more experienced Knights who might be a valuable resource for someone newly awakened... But Windsor did not seem so daunted as many others were. He was out, alone, exploring. Grabbing his newfound powers and running with them. What better resource was there than experiencing what you could do for yourself? "What 'did' they look like," Lovas corrected. "I am the last. But my people had dark eyes. Dark eyes, dark skin, dark hair. My world has no sun, and this is helpful to blend into the night. Less likely to be seen by something that wanted to eat you. There were great and powerful beasts on my world. Any creature that could consume would fight and kill anything it could find. Everything was prey. And everything was a predator too." His head canted, curious at the unfamiliar gesture, a little pass of lips against his hand. Almost tasting. What else would it be for. Despite the smile still on his face, a soft rumbling sound slipped out of him. A little growl. A little promise. He would bite much harder than anyone could bite him. "I have not yet found a human I am intimidated by." Though it had been many years since Lovas had found anything he was intimidated by... And that was perhaps a mental failing on his part. His ultimately goal should still be his survival. His world's survival. No one could bring it about except for him. He needed to live for that... And fear was healthy for survival. ...But it was also such a distant emotion that he barely understood what it felt like anymore. "I have found the individual harborers of this world's Chaos to be-" A soft, dismissive cluck of his tongue. "Manageable."

Oh, that growl. Windsor felt a slow grin spread across their face and chuckled. “Interesting reaction to a kiss on the hand. Do you not have kisses on Lovas?” The list of things that Windsor could and should teach this tree of a man was growing and he liked all of it.
“No sun, hm? That’s sad. But I suppose I understand, I hope you can find someone here who can brighten your days. How are you coping with our sun? Do you burn easily? Are your friends giving you enough sunscreen when you’re out?” There was a hint of real concern with that question and Windsor once again looked the Senshi up and down. There didn’t seem to be any signs of sunburn, but then, it was winter so…that might just be why.
“Humans can be real assholes. I’m glad you’re not intimidated, and same with the Chaos crap, but. Still, I would be happy to give you some extra lessons, if you wanted.”

Disregarding the impulse to say that there hadn't been kisses on Lovas for centuries, he met Windsor's chuckle with a vibrant little laugh and shrug of his shoulders. "Hm. They are not such... chaste things," he replied. ...Not that he was exactly an expert on Lovasii courting or intimacy, himself... A lot of things had fallen out of importance during the last years of his peoples' existence. And what had still been important? Well, it had happened over a thousand years ago. How was he expected to remember such things? He was adept at prioritizing his own needs and desires. And less so those of others. "I do not like your Sun," Lovas continued with a dismissive wave of his hand. "It is sadder to have one, I think. It is oppressively bright." Bright enough to makes his eyes burn and keep him indoors during the day, bright enough to keep him from resting peacefully while he was trapped indoors, bright enough to make people bold- He truly couldn't believe how many people wandered, how crowded certain areas could be while the Sun was out. There were surely more people in one, single shopping center than there had ever been alive on Lovas at any one time. But although he preferred to avoid it, it did not cause him any immediate physical harm- that he was aware of. The Knights who'd taken him in seemed to do all of their Important Tasks while the Sun hung high. Just the human way, Lovas supposed. He would have to adapt. He quirked a brow, amusement warming his eyes. "Oh? And what lessons could a fresh Knightling, with barely even a few decades of life under his belt, teach me?"

“They don’t have to be so chaste, I just…was trying to be somewhat romantic–gallent!” Windsor grinned, looking just a little sheepish. “You know, I can absolutely get behind the not enjoying the sun, but I bet I could find some ways that you might like it. It’s beautiful sometimes…if you’re free tomorrow, I’d love to show you one of my favorite ways to enjoy it? And oh, it’s easy, there are a lot of things I could teach you about the earth and I’m sure there’s a lot you could teach me about Lovas, and about magic in general. I would appreciate it. Do you have a way to…blend in?”
That was the only worry that Windsor had. Sure, they adored how Lovas worked, but the skin color? It was worrying. Normal people in the city would find it so and that would seriously impede the whole…human lessons…thing.
“I’ll get you a nice pair of sunglasses when we’re out, it does help with the brightness.”

While he didn't know a ton about Knights and their stellar history, nor did he have a complete grasp on their role in the universe and to their planet, what Lovas did know: "Ah, yes! I have heard a Knight should be gallant. And romantic?" Another inquisitive brow quirk, an uncertain little smile, as he was not so sure about that part. "To... everyone?" The two he was familiar with were certainly romantic to each other (and had not been excited at the thought of any inclusion from Lovas), but they were bonded in the way humans did to signify loyalty and passion and love. Perhaps Knight were supposed to 'be romantic.' "I could be free tomorrow." Realistically, Lovas did not have any obligations to absorb his time. He didn't have that 'job' thing that everyone else had. "As you wish, yes, I will heed your expertise and learn of acceptable ways to enjoy the sun. Tomorrow." "I do!" Lovas said eagerly. "A Mauvian gave me this device." He took out his Senshi phone, which would have never been necessary on his world, but... he supposed it was fine to have an additional resource for this strange planet. "It can... project? A human appearance onto me so that I can 'blend in.' It is disappointing that such a thing is necessary... I didn't have to blend in on other worlds I've visited... But no matter. If it helps to make things more convenient for you, I will wear my glamour."

“I mean. And this is a “quick Earth Lesson.”” Completed with air quotes, of course, “But I’m Pansexual so, yeah? I could be romantic to everyone? So long as like, they’re not complete assholes…but. When I’ve found the one, nah, I wouldn’t be romantic to anyone else, unless like, it was a mutual thing? I could absolutely do mutual things if that were what my partner wanted. I’m easy to get along with, I think.”
The one two punch of both having Lovas accept his invitation and the fact that he had a way to blend in a bit better…that was fantastic.
“...Are you still as hot? So muscled? I hope so. It doesn’t change you too much, does it?”
Ah, word vomit. Sometimes, you just weren’t needed but. Alas.

Lovas was still smiling. He did his best to hold that expression when dealing with Outsiders- when dealing with everyone, really. It had served him well in his youth from what he could recall, and though he'd only been on Earth a handful of weeks, he thought it made things easier here, as well. But there was a pinch in his brow and a quirk in his lips as he said, "I... do not completely understand," Lovas admitted. The 'Earth Lesson' just seemed to be that there were a lot of caveats to every choice- and Lovas didn't like to make things so complicated. "Ah, you humans. You enjoy complexity, I think." He hummed softly, lifting a hand to tuck a strand of dark hair behind Windsor's ear, tracing a fingertip along the shell of his ear, down to his jaw, his chin, lifting it so Lovas could study vibrant green eyes. "If I like something, I have it. If I like two somethings, I have both. Maybe the somethings appreciate each other. Maybe they don't. Shouldn't that be for them to work out?" He notched his finger up, flicking away from Windsor as Lovas leaned back. "I'm partial to my natural appearance, so not as 'hot,' I'm afraid. But the alterations are acceptable." No pressure vents beneath his eyes. Humans didn't have those. No long ears. No fangs. And less... gray. Which Lovas didn't think was necessary, but Miros had said a livelier color would make him stand out less. He wanted to stand out less, apparently (he did not care if he stood out less). "I think I am notable enough. I have started calling myself 'Iriel' when I use my human guise." And then he was looking at his Senshi phone again, which was supposed to be useful for communication. ...And it probably would be for most, but... Earth script still eluded him. "Can you-" He waved the device vaguely in Windsor's direction. "Make this do something? To help us meet tomorrow?"

“Iriel…I love that. It sounds so…mysterious.”
Windsor wasn’t…trembling from the touch, but they had felt…was feeling…giddy. Absolutely giddy and if that was going to happen from a simple touch? Well. That could mean trouble.
Carefully, unwillingly, Windsor took a step back and closed their eyes for a moment, letting their Page form fade and leaving Alexi behind. “I’m Alexi in my normal hours. They sound pretty good together, if I do say so. Iriel and Alexi. Exotic and fun.”
Sure, this Senshi had a lot to learn, and his ideas on…liking something and having people just deal with it…were kind of problematic but…nothing that couldn't be fixed. He was new to the planet, and absolutely had a good excuse.
“I’ll meet you here tomorrow? Maybe around noon?” That would give Alexi some time to sleep in…and get themself ready.

Mysterious. Lovas supposed that was an acceptable compliment for the throwaway name he'd selected. He hadn't gone by anything besides his Senshi name in so long that any other barely fit. Almost insulted him to even be called by another title when he knew who- what he was. But... Thad and Eli seemed to be right in this case... Another name helped him more on this planet. Windsor- Alexi liked it. That wasn't worth nothing. "Then, I'll meet you here tomorrow." That was easier than any alternative, surely. He'd hoped to make use of his Senshi phone, but- It wasn't like he knew how with perfect clarity. He couldn't read Earth text and couldn't write it out to send messages, either. Well, he would get a refresher from Mirosnjha about how to record names on this device with his voice, since the memorizing letters portion was still a little beyond him. It was surely possible, since most other human things seemed to respond to voice command. Lovas would have an excuse to leave the house during the day, which he usually avoided. So that was... interesting. It would be worthwhile, probably, to do those sort of 'learning Earth' things Thad and Eli encouraged him to do. They helped him in every way they could, of course, but... More was better, and now he had Windsor in the mix. Should be interesting.
