Outside it looks like a cute vintage cafe, but inside, the shop has been decorated so convincingly that you feel like you've just stepped into a snowy northern forest. They have an array of delicious, cold drinks, and the trip would be worthwhile for that alone--except, shortly after the first sip, anyone who has ingested the drink will find that they sneeze a flurry of tiny snowflakes. The more drinks consumed, the longer you will find you are sneezing little snowflakes. It feels like there is a tickle up your nose for an hour or longer, depending on player choice; drinking more can also lead to longer effects. There are no negative impacts--just the need to sneeze often, and a little burst of cold snowflakes along with each one. Surprisingly, the shop still doesn't have any bad reviews.
Fame had to come from somewhere, and eight thousand followers on instagram wasn’t bad...but it could be better. It could always be better.
The drink was acquired and several photos were taken, most in front of light displays, where the background was blurred tastefully. It looked magical and Alexi was pleased. The cold weather was perfect for this drink as it was cold too, so the ice wasn’t melting and the drink was staying nice and fresh. Finally, when there was enough content, Alexi moved to a more secluded area and sat on a bench, taking a sip of the drink. It was good! Tasty and had a wonderful mouthfeel. It felt like drinking the holidays, and that was comforting. It wasn’t long before the cup was empty and Alexi stood, stretching to throw away the trash…but. Then they sneezed. And snowflakes appeared…
It had to be a fluke–the trashcan was covered in snow, so obviously that was the issue, Alexi had sneezed some off. But…as they turned around, they sneezed again with the same result. Huh.
Rubbing at their nose, Alexi kept walking until something shiny caught their attention, because shiny things were always attention grabbing…that was the whole point of them, honestly. Reaching down, Alexi picked up the small ornament, blinking at how delicate and pretty it was. Another sneeze, and Alexi was far too caught up on the snowflakes and ornament to realize that they had changed clothing, and that there was…someone nearby. Very nearby.

Tempesti couldn’t help the impulse to wander by the strange little café where she’d gotten that bizarre drink. The whole incident would have been far less funny it the side effects hadn’t worn off, though sneezing that long was still not an entirely pleasant experience. It had certainly been a relief when they slowed, even more so when they finally stopped. Still, she couldn’t deny her curiosity about whether other people had the same reaction to the drinks there. The sensation of an Order energy signature distracted the senshi from the snowy mystery, though it seemed like she would be following the same path, or at least a similar one. Curiosity piqued, she followed the gentle pull toward the potential ally until she found herself standing in front of a young page seemingly contemplating their weapon, a lovely stained glass bauble. She’d never given stained glass much attention before it began reappearing on Tempesti and though this didn’t quite resemble the art of her homeworld, it caught her interest all the same. With a smile and a friendly wave, she approached the knight. “Hello! Your weapon is beautiful, I haven’t seen one like it before.”Orangeish Sherbert Sorry for the delay, I got caught up in holiday stuff

Jumping slightly, Windsor looked over, blinking in confusion. “My…weapon? I’m not sure what you’re talking about…” Their eyes roamed over the woman in front of them, she didn’t look too much older, maybe close to Sabrina’s age, but…
Weapon? Alexi didn’t have a weapon and that was when they noticed that they weren’t wearing…the same…clothing.
“Um.”
Looking down, all they could really take in was a very pleasing pastel rainbow and a lot of ruffles, and a pleasing purple with almost a starry design…it wasn’t…a bad look, and they wished they had a mirror.
“I’m not really sure what’s going on, I don’t think I have any kind of weapon, I mean. I just picked this up and now I’m in a different set of clothing? So if that’s what you're considering a weapon…then…thank you?”
They weren’t trying to be rude but…they were very confused.
Another sneeze, and another flurry of snowflakes and... "Yeah, I'm also. I've got a snowflake issue? There's that too..."

“Oh, you’re welcome. And yes, that is a weapon. Or something people call a weapon. From what I can tell they don’t do much when you first start out.”
(Mental note: learn more about knights to better help in situations like this.)
“It’s also what transformed you, which is why your clothes changed when you touched it. You’re a knight. Not like a medieval knight, a magical one. Which I know sounds insane, but it’s the truth. I’m not a knight, but I’ve got magic too.”
Hopefully the markings glowing on her arms and face would sell the magic angle.
I’m what they call a senshi, and I know this is all overwhelming, but there are a lot of people like us who can help you get used to this. Or as used to this as you can be…just so you know, the snowflakes are unrelated. They came from that place’s drinks. Happened to me the other day. It stopped after a few hours.”
She didn’t want to completely bombard the young stranger with everything at once, but it was a matter of safety. After she answered their questions as best she could, connecting them with another knight would probably be a good next step. A knight would understand all of this far better than she did.
“By the way, I’m Sailor Tempesti. It’s nice to meet you.”

“Huh. That’s a lot, but I’m sure it’ll all process, and the thing that I can focus best on…is the snowflakes came from the place’s drinks? Why were there no reviews saying that?” Windsor’s voice was indignant, and they scoffed, glancing behind them at the trashcan where the sneezes had started and where the offending cup had been tossed.
“I‘m going to leave a review, I’ll tell you that. Anyway. Next…I’m a magical knight and you’re a magical…senshi? What’s the difference, how do I tell the difference and why did picking up the little ornament do this to me? Like, should this be something that’s well known because, never read anything about that on the city blogs or anything…”
Windsor held out the ornament to Tempesti, she had said she hadn’t seen anything like it before so…maybe she’d understand and get some…meaning from it. It was really pretty.
“Nice to meet you too…uh. Is that your real name or like a code name you made up?”

Tempesti couldn’t blame the new page for having an easier time focusing on the snowflakes coming out of their nose than on the huge revelations she’d just dropped on them. Even with what limited exposure she’d had to this world before her own awakening she’d had time to process the fact that these things existed. Encountering it for the first time as she found magic for herself would have been beyond overwhelming. “You know, I wondered the exact same thing when it happened to me. I was sure that someone had to mention it somewhere. Maybe they scrub them from the websites somehow?” She had no idea if that was possible but it felt like the most likely answer. “Well, a big difference is that you’re tied to a wonder, a place outside of this world. Well, usually but Earth knights’ wonders are hidden by magic on Earth. From the look of you, you’re a Cosmos knight. So your wonder is probably in space. If I understand correctly, each wonder protects part of something called the Code. I’m not exactly sure what it is, but it’s what gives you your power. I don’t think you have access to any magic right now, but it’ll come. When it does you’ll be able to channel it.
As for your wonder, it’s probably pretty broken down now but the more time you spend there the more it’ll wake up, restore itself even. I’ve seen it happen and it’s amazing.
I’ve heard about people talking to the Code, but I have no idea how that happens. Another knight would know, I’d have to ask to put one in contact with you but I’m sure someone would be happy to help you.” Taking a look at their pretty little weapon she wished she knew more about how they worked. “I’m not really sure how the magic in the weapons work, just that it responds to the touch of the person who’s supposed to have it…but the ones I’ve seen for people who just awakened haven’t been so pretty.” (Mental note: really really learn more about knights.) She gave the bauble another admiring glance before continuing. “In a sense Sailor Tempesti is my real name, but it’s not my only name, most of the time I’m Rowan. Senshi, like me, get our power from celestial bodies. Tempesti is the name of my planet. I’m not an alien, I’m from Earth, but I’m connected to it. I can visit it too. You’ll probably only be able to visit your wonder every few weeks at first but it’ll get easier. Senshi magic is also linked to one specific thing. Mine is harpies, but a friend of mine is linked to revelry and another is linked to petrification. So it can also be concepts or physical phenomena. We can’t channel the magic on and off either, it comes in short bursts and we need to rest after a few of those.”Another heap of information, another chance that she’d put too much on them at once. “I know I can’t answer all of your questions about knights, but if you need help with anything else I can give you my phone number. My regular phone number.” It might not be the safest course of action, all things considered, but until the page found their signet ring she figured it was important that they have a way to reach someone who could give them some magical backup.
