Cassarria went straight to the office of Wayne, the Sniffer currently in charge of security. She worked to arrange the transportation needed for the operation tonight. The Sniffers would do the driving and act as a protection detail. They also had a medic, if needed. He was relieved to know about his replacement. He'd been wanting to retire with Greg for a few years now. He deserved it. From there, she moved to wrangling her brother... Bast walked in with Desmond just in time to stop Philana from hitting Zer, "Don't! He's pure electricity in human form. You touch him, you get zapped!" she called out the warning fast then looked at the man in question. "Uncle Zer, we need access to the full network across the street. We also need access to the network of the warehouse for tonight. Please set up an access point for Philana and be nice. I'm asking, not Aunt Cassarria," she said to him. He finally gave a heavy sigh and his shoulders slumped, "For you, Kitten, I'll behave," he said simply then disappeared. Cassarria walked in on the tail end of that with a Sniffer trailing her with a box containing a computer setup. She gestured to Philana, "Show him where you want the computer, Darling. And please, for the love of everything you hold dear, do not ever touch my brother. Your hair would never recover," she said halfway teasing. She looked at Bast and Desmond, "Tonight. They're staging them for deployment. We have to get them out tonight. My sister is going to see if Trey is on the island. If so, we're going to need her help to track down three missing bears before we can let the rest of them leave. I'm tempted to send them all anyway because they're going go insane with the wait," she explained simply. She turned to Toross as Bast moved to set her gear on a table to lay it all out. She'd arm up when they were ready to go. Cassarria looked at Toross, "Varos will be directing you all from here. He's supposed to be dead as far as RRT is concerned. If they catch sight of him, even a hint, they'll tear the city apart looking for him. Plus... I'll worry," she finished that with a huge understatement. But that was part of their agreement when he agreed to stay with her. He'd avoid RRT and she wouldn't complain about his sailing. Bast laid out her bow, quiver, extra arrows daggers, garrotes, ropes for running lines, and a box of matches. Next to that went the full set of Hylarr Fighting Leathers she'd been gifted before she'd left. How it had been dyed to match her fur so perfectly she didn't know. But it did. In it, she would be able to disappear standing in any shadow. She added a hooded coat that blended into the city better than a cloak would. In that, no one would be able to tell that she was Hylarr. Next to her gear, she laid out Desmond's.

Philana Narrowed her eyes on Zer with a pointed finger at him a serious look on her face pausing to look at Toross for a moment and then at Cassarria and sighed “fine! Over there” she pointed at the table with a dufflebag loaded with gear in it. Toross grinned and just walked over to his dufflebag and opened it revealing his Long sight Cannon in two parts, the weapon sporting an integrated suppressor sleeved over half the weapons length and just put it together in a few short adjustments before he pulled a Cylinder out of the bag and slotted it in before locking it in and checking the sights. Philana pulled out her equipment she needed, her magi-tech equipment that they used for hacking being placed on the table, pausing when Varos walked in and spoke up as he stood behind Cassarria putting a gentle hand on the ball of her back “alright listen up we’ve got to a very short window pull out the rest of the pack from RRTs grasp, thankfully information has come to light that gives us the best possible chance to do that without alerting RRT of our intention” Philana sat there listening but didn’t say anything, Desmond holding his Bow his quiver on his back already spoke up “what’s the window of extraction?” Varos grinned “the Warehouse, as we already know minimal security, our packmates have been put on pre-transit preparation before being shipped off to the island, at this moment all dogs of war should be in staging that will transport them to the warehouse for final equipment checks before they are moved to a waiting ship for transit to the island, Desmond are transportation protocols still the same or did they change?” everyone looked at him who grinned “if they do what they did with me, no changes Transport will have four enforcers for transit and hand off at the warehouse. When are they dropping off?” Varos shook his head and replied “tonight, sometime after midnight no specifics were given, Philana if you can pull the transit reports for incoming transfers at the warehouse that should give us the time, regular personnel don’t use the warehouse for transit so it should be easy to find” Philana grinned and replied “no problem” she looked at Zer who’d been standing there and she continue “i need a direct line to the data line to and from the warehouse, i can do the rest, it should take me long afterwords.” Toross finally spoke up his focus evident “what are we looking at for sight lines to the warehouse?" Desmond replied “the warehouse is in the Industrial sector; it is surrounded by potential overwatch positions” Toross smirked “we’ll need time to set up once onsite, but once we’re in position so long as everyone going stays in sight, I'll be able to cover you should you get into any trouble with onsite security, are there windows into the warehouse?” Varos and Desmond nodded “the warehouse is a typical building, the top of the walls and sections of the roof are windows, with limited sight lines to the ground floor but not impossible if you are high enough” Toross nodded “if i can see it i can kill it, just make sure you get your people out of there alive and we’ll deal with the rest” Philana spoke her eyes not leaving the computer that was connected and her hands working vigorously “what’s the risk of backup?” Desmond replied “if a silent alarm is triggered, we’ll have a Rapid response team of heavily armed and armored enforcers onsite inside of three minutes, standard vehicle for rapid response is a MRAP IFV, supported with pintle heavy weapon, standard complement twelve enforcers” Philana whistled “we don’t want that bearing down on us, we’ve only got a couple of EMP rounds for small disruption, don’t know if they’ll be able to disable something that big, the gunner though is dead if Toross gets his sights on him” Toross nodded in agreeance. Varos stood there and just nodded “alright get onsite and sync up comms with us we’ll keep our eyes and ears open to make sure you are free and clear, just don’t miss it, else we’ll be chasing ships that’ll have heads start on us.” After a moment Philana looked amused a smirk as big as can be on her face “got it, RRT’s security is s**t, they call that high end security they have more vulnerabilities that even a baby could hack them with its eyes closed and suck a tit at the same time” she was overexaggerating of course the security net was impressive but against someone who had the tech she did it was like they didn’t at all “alright, transfer due to drop at 0130, they’ll be running dark during the transfer” Desmond nodded and replied “alright let’s get over to the warehouse before they arrive.”

Cassarria stayed with Varos, "We'll be in the main security room. We have cameras all over the place and even more watching these idiots. Be careful," she said then looked around as another of her siblings showed up. She looked like something out an old comic book, one of the renditions of Poison Ivy mixed with a bit of Swamp Thing. Her hair was multiple shades of green with flowers and vines entwined with it. She wore a tunic style dress that looked like it was made of moss. "Aunt Shade!" Bast called out with a grin as she moved over to give the woman a hug that was returned with a dry laugh. "Kitten... I brought you a gift," she said simply then passed over a small woven basket. Bast opened it and gave a soft laugh before heading to her arrows to switch out the heads, "Am I putting them to sleep or killing them with these," she asked simply. The strange woman gave another dry laugh, "Killing, Sweety. Those morons decided to try to polite my lake. I'm taking offense," she explained shortly then offered a different woven box to Desmond and Philana, "These are the sleepy ones. Be gloved up when you switch them out or you're sleeping for 12 hours. Well, the targets will be out for 12, anyone else is likely to be 24 or better," she explained. The smaller darts would be deadly any other time, but this woman had access to things no one else did. Nightshade nodded to Philana and Toross before she disappeared in a puff of green gas. She was well known by the Marsonians from her help with supplies of fresh herbs that had helped keep them alive. What she'd given Bast were arrowheads coated in a special poison mix. It would put each target down hard and fast then break down to be untraceable. Bast had no problem with the added edge and the implication that she was killing while Desmond and Philana would be tranquilizing the pack. Cassarria watched as Bast armed up and finished dressing, noting how she'd changed since she'd been with Sebastet. Their sweet and kind Kitten was now a deadly Huntress, a killer that wouldn't miss. She turned to Philana, "I'm reminding you that you have to be careful with Kitten if she gets injured. No silver at all. You'll have to watch her injuries for it as well..." she couldn't help but worry despite knowing that she didn't need to. But she knew Philana would need to know as the emergency medic. Bast pulled the hood of her coat up and adjusted her quiver before picking up her bow, "Don't worry Aunt Cassarria. By the time they know I'm there, they'll be dying," she said softly as she scooped up her arrows and dropped them in her quiver. Without the bow, she looked like anyone out on the street avoiding a bit of rain. With the bow she looked like most of the scroungers on the outskirts of town. No one would look twice at her like this. Zer looked over them all then held a hand over an empty corner of the table. Two boxes appeared and he motioned to Toross, "The blue box, the rounds are electrified. They'll fry anything they hit plus about four feet around. The red box are emp rounds. I think you know what to do with those," he offered them backed away to finish the connections to RRT headquarters. Wayne and four other Sniffers were waiting at the elevator. They had two vans ready to go.

Toross smirked and collected the goods from the boxes, Philana made sure the darts were secured, the darts would work well enough with the hand cannon they carried normally, since they were designed for multi munition tasks, and while she couldn’t load an entire cylinder with them, the weapon would at least allow for the use of the darts as long as they were preloaded one at a time, Desmond checked his arrowhead pouch and put his in there for safe keeping, he made sure to attach a hollow head to each dart for the quick use of an arrowshaft, and simply finalized his gear, his armor, his daggers along with the throwing knives. Toross and Philana did their final checks to their armors, the SOF armor was unique compared to standard light scale armor the lances usually use, theirs functioned like chameleons' skin, able to hide in plain sight with their active camouflage that such an armor could give, it wasn’t perfect but when perfectly still they could blend in with their environments making them the perfect hunters for this kind of work. Toross stepped around Philana while she finished getting her gear sorted and checked her explosive charge built into the armor, making sure it was ready, before he patted her back giving her the greenlight that her silence protocol was armed and in standby for activation, turning around Philana gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before she gestured with her hand to turn around and did the same for him patting him on the back that he was good to go. They had spent the longest time as operators than most in the lances, their unspoken language was exclusive to them, some called it elf magic what they could do, but when you’ve been with the same partner as long as they had, you could coordinate without speaking, and move as a fluid cohesive unit, which was why they were the best in all of the Marsonian Confederacy for their sniper spotter teamwork, though this mission wouldn’t allow for them to operate together, this mission required Toross to watch his wife’s back while she put herself on the line with him in his nest, something that didn’t happen often since she was his spotter and her fierce protectiveness she had for making sure that he could focus on his target without worry what was going on around him, now he had to watch his own back and hers, and that worried him. Without ever speaking a word Philana’s expression softened as she placed a hand on his cheek in reassurance that everything would be alright and with him watching her back she wasn’t likely to have anything to worry about, his right hand reaching out to rest against her cheek his face showing the gratitude for being his grounding in this moment, and just as quickly both of them seemed to switch on their expressions hardened their posture more showing that they were ready to work. They both looked at the others realizing that they had had a full conversation without ever speaking a word between them, and that was why their comrades always called it elf magic, the looks from everyone around them having noted this exchange. Philana collected the rest of her hardware and then put on her helmet on, when required they could have face plates put on their helmets to completely enclose their heads and much like their armor the helmet was the same, it allowed them to keep comms up but their faces were environmentally closed off providing gas masks that could filter out most airborne threats and could for a short time provide oxygen when they had to submerge under water for a short time. Making sure the special munitions were dispersed between them, Toross was ready to go as was Philana who stood ready, her Light Cannon loaded and held in her off hand.

Cassarria watched them all leave in silence then followed Varos to the control room, sitting to one side while he put on the headset to communicate as he watched the cameras. After a moment, he gave them the all clear to leave the parking garage. It was in their hands now...

Cassarria was pissed. Under their feet the building gave a small shake before she took in a deep breath and let it out slowly then shook herself to get to business. She looked at the Sniffers running the cameras, "Get me images if everything. Someone send a message to Vexx and tell her we have a toy for her to play with. Get the secure room ready for the pack to sleep off the meds. Get the Healer ready to treat Desmond when he gets here," she issued orders and got people scrambling then turned to Varos. "You will need to tell Desmond about Z. If we could get our hands on the slippery b*****d I would be dripping lava on his wings until he smoldered. Until then, try to think of a way to use him to our advantage," she told him then closed her eyes as she focused on getting her sister to hurry up with getting Trey back here now. When she was properly motivated, Cassarria was not a force to be denied...

Varos was antsy a war raging from within him that even had his eyes glowing with rage, his hybrid self bound and determined to come out but feeling helpless in this room with RRT at large, When Trey came into the room he was relieved to see her though Zer was looking plucked “WHAT THE HELL! You couldn’t tell us you were alive, and what’s this about you calling me short, I'm just the right size to kick your a**” he chuckled as he knelt so that he was at her height of four feet and gave her a hug “good to see you too, what did you do to Zer?” a toothy smile on her face “only what was justified, spare the messenger is just outright boring so i gave her a lesson in keeping some things to yourself, she got to keep most of her feathers” she shrugged. And finally got to work “so what’s going on, i hear you need me for a task” Varos nodded and replied “Desmond’s mate been capture by a group whose good at disappearing when they don’t want ot be found” he paused when Desmond voice came through the Comms before he continued “she doesn’t have long, sounds like they intend to skin her alive if she doesn’t disclose the rest of the Hylarr, though originally we needed you to find some bears that had disappeared not long ago, it appears they too were taken by this same group” Trey’s smile went wider if it was even possible and replied “nothing this nose can’t find where am i going?” Varos stood up and pointed at the live feeds “the RRT warehouse, Bast was taken during an op to recover the rest of our packmates they are being transported here now” Desmond along with the four elves walked through the door at that moment a Medicae and healer both following close behind in apparent frustration “is she he...” he stopped mid sentence to see trey there grinning like the Cheshire cat who’d got the canary before she stepped forward “well aren’t you just a mess, couldn’t stay still even when Jenny had to patch you up or the medics at headquarters, go I've got this, you aren’t going to be much good if you are half dead saving your mate from the creeps that have her” she wasn’t one to mince words and just nodded looking at Cassarria who had a point look at him saying go get patched up and simply left the room leaving the elves with Varos. Valerius stepped forward “good to meet the infamous wolfgang in the flesh, I'm captain Valerius of Vulture one lance, my subordinates have brought me up to speed on what was going on so we can’t skip that part, The Marsonian Confederacy has three additional Lances tasked to the area, they should be here within a day or two” Desmond stopped and replied the Medicae and healer trying to shove him through the door “she doesn’t have that long, from what I've gathered the conversation that was had with Bast sounds like a very short window before they start asking questions and carving, something about first bell” Gideon chimed in “well that’s religious if i ever heard anything, first bell might refer to a time of day... Maybe first light?” Philana sighed “if that’s the case we need to move now, that gives us about five hours before first light, we can handle breaching the location if push comes to shove but i need to know where it is” Trey laughed lightly “well it seems i need to go to work” Trey looked at them all before she looked at all of them in turn expecting them to get things going before she looked at Cassarria and paused, her eyes narrowed before she looked back at Varos and grinned “old man, you’ve been busy haven’t ya” Varos sighed and replied “young lady, let me remind you that i am NOT the old man, that was my father, and further more... yes i have been busy among other things...that... won’t be discussed right now” he looked at Cassarria who even now seemed to be brooding over that thought and just left it at that, he wasn’t going to discuss the pirate empire he was currently running with his mate in the room, she always had a tendency of trying to jump him, more so when he wore his outfit. He refocused his mind and looked at one of the sniffers get Trey over to the warehouse while we still have control over it” Philana and Toross looked at each other and just nodded “we’ll go along, we can coordinate as move along and rendezvous close to the location once we have a fix on where it is.” Philana paused a moment to look at the door that Desmond went through “what about Desmond?” Varos grinned “that boys going to have to sit this out until we find Bast, he’ll catch up once he’s recovered from being shot at least a dozen times while in wolf form” Toross raised a hand “about that what’s with the demonic look, we’ve got shifters in the confederacy but none of them like that” Trey chuckled as she started walking towards the door “oh honey, that’s what happens when you consume demon blood and that blood mutates your appearance and physical capabilities beyond normal shifters, we’re unique” Toross surprised looked at them both “we?” Varos was the one to respond “yes we, all the dogs of war are hybrids, the only ones in existence, which was what made us such a valuable asset to RRT and why it was is unusual to willing give us that asset to easily to a church edict, but that’s something to be addressed once we recover Bast, get going and keep close to Trey, i have someone to address while we wait.” Looking at Cassarria she knew exactly what he had intended to do and just rolled her eyes as he left to head down to the demon floor to prod someone into action without prodding.

Ravenna appeared after Trey had left, suddenly standing beside Cassarria, "I like Trey. She's adorable and dangerous. Thankfully I grow feathers faster than an Angel. She almost tastes like death... Mmmm... Delicious... But I'll leave them to you for now. You know how to find me if you need me. Give my brother-in-law a kiss for me," she commented before she disappeared again. One of the Sniffers shook his head as he passed over a note from Vexx. She was sending someone to collect her new toy but she couldn't leave due to an important meeting. She also passed over some new information. Cassarria simply kept the note for Varos to make use of. Instead, she went to check on Desmond with a Sniffer in tow to take notes on anything else Bast passed over. Little did any of them know that something was stirring inside of the usually playful Kitten they all knew... When it burst it's confines, they were going to need him to contain it again....

Desmond sat in a chair, the Medicae and Healer tending to his wounds, or rather the Healer’s tended to his wounds and the Medicae is standing there fascinated by the magic being used and asking questions as the healer worked, it was clear that the confederacy was without anyone who could use magic. When Cassarria came in he looked over at them “been getting regular information from Bast, apart from occasional patrols, there is no camera’s monitoring her, in fact I'm having trouble figuring out where she is, the area she’s in doesn’t seem to have any obvious sources of power even though there is light in the room, maybe magic?” When the two fussing over him were done and gone he stood up and continued “whoever they are, there is a lot of monks walking about on the main floor, a small window for airflow, i don’t suppose you know of any place that doesn’t use power?” Desmond was hopeful but considering how big New houston was, and the surrounding area was almost a dead zone for power it was hard to say that they were.

Cassarria narrowed her sapphire eyes in thought then gestured for them all to follow her to the control room. She paused at the map of New Houston and put her finger over the logistics warehouse then moved her finger to the only area she knew of that didn't use electricity. "Somewhere over here," she circled the area then told one of the Sniffers to pass the information on to Trey for her search, "Oh, and warn her that there will likely a Fallen Angel looking for Bast as well. If we want to get her first, then she's on a tighter time crunch. He'll be used for a distraction but we still have to beat him there," she added then looked at Desmond. "When she was here five years ago, Z became obsessed with her after watching her perform in the Club. And I do mean obsessed. He's a problem to solve another day. But I will say that he was why I blocked her memory and sent her to the island when I did. It wasn't pretty, any of it. But his obsession is useful for the moment. If he does get to her, he will bring her back here. But we plan on getting to her first," she explained, hoping he wouldn't hate her for it all. Still, she'd done what she could at the time. It was the only solution they'd had at the time. She looked up as Varos returned then showed him where the new search area was. Then she turned to the Healer, "Go rest. We'll let you know when we'll need you. For now, conserve your energies," she told him then gestured for the Medicae to go with him, "Make sure he rests. You can grill him about magic later. We need him rested if the bears are as bad as Kitten said they are," she instructed. Five hours... And the clock was ticking fast...

Vulture was carried in on a stretcher and put through surgery and Healing immediately. Then she was put on a bed in the same room as the unconscious Dogs of War with Varos waiting for them to wake up. The Healer was surprised that Vulture was still alive. How she'd survived was likely a testament to the skills of the one that had tortured her, unfortunately. But she was going to be on bed rest for a little bit. Add in the loss of her brothers and one had to wonder how she was going to come out of everything mentally intact. Downstairs, the rest of the bears were informed of everything that had happened and were given the bodies for their rites. They'd do a cremation outside of town. But they passed on a message for Varos. They thanked him and his team for saving Vulture. They were also ready to take their cubs to the island and knew that Vulture would have to stay here. It had been her decision before she was taken anyway.

A tall woman walked in with a body over one shoulder, following one of the Sniffers who had led her to this floor. She identified an empty bed next to an unconscious male and chose that one to put her burden on. One of the Medicae moved forward and the tall woman shook her head, "Get one of the Healers. Saryn, if possible. My sister tangled with something that didn't like her, I found her in an alley and brought her here. I patched her up but I'm better at making wounds than repairing them," she stated in that unique way of saying something without explaining anything. It was a gift, really. But the Healers here knew the sisters so they likely wouldn't complain. Well, not too much anyway. The woman backed off as someone went to get the Healer she'd asked for, letting her drop into a chair as she stretched then let down her hair. That hair was actually teal that faded to dark blue at the tips. And it grew that way. Right now it fell in several braids to her waist. She was wearing something that looked like a cross between tactical gear and fighting leathers with a small backpack. And a bit of blood on her from carrying the wounded female. They shared a few features that marked them as relatives with a certain resident demon designer: ice blue eyes, blue in the hair, cheek bones, attitude, and a certain flare for the dramatic. There, things changed that marked them as half-siblings. Very proven when one of the Medicae opened the coat of the woman on the bed and swore very creatively before getting to work on removing clothing. The woman on the bed was half Black-footed Cat Clan Hylarr and half Demon. Silverr was beautiful. Her coat had dark spots and stripes against a light tan coat with naturally lined eyes that would eventually open to show the same eyes as Ice and Yzze. She had beautiful dark hair braided tight to her head that had the same dark blue tips as her siblings. Even her long tail had a dark blue tip, the same as the tips of her fingers. The dark fur giving her eyes a natural eyeliner look also included a touch of blue that looked intriguing; her eyelashes also had a bit of a dark blue tint to them. Her coloration looked like any Black-footed Cat at first, then one saw the blue that grew naturally and had to realize that she was even more striking and unusual. That marked her demon half. For the other woman? Well... Healer Saryn walked in and saw her then looked at the bed, his eyes widening as he counted each wound. It looked like she was in a knife fight. Or upset a wolf pack. Either way, something had cut her up pretty good. One. Two. Three. Three across the belly. One diagonally across the upper chest. Two on the right thigh. And that was four-no- Five slashes that wrapped around the left thigh. Yeah, she'd pissed someone off... He knew the Medicae could handle this one but they'd need a little bit of specialized assistance. He told his assistant to go get the medical kit labeled with Silverr's name then started helping them clean her up enough to work on her. Thankfully, the assistant was quick. They used special needles for stitching her up: no silver or gold content at all. He instructed them all on how to use the herbals in the kit to neutralize silver and gold in the wounds, then the tea shed need to drink just in case any of it was already in her system. Basically, the old fashioned ways of stitching, poultice, and tea. It was unique because Silverr was a hybrid. He finally stepped back and looked to the woman sitting off to the side, "Any of that blood yours?" he asked her. Yzze shook her head and gave a half grin, "Nah. Just hers from her bleeding on me. Not sure what she got tangled with. She did leave a bit of a blood trail for a bit. Would have followed it but I thought it best to get her here first. Had trouble smelling anything but her blood and the alley she passed out in," she explained as she stretched again and yawned. He shook his head, "Give someone the location of the alley and we'll backtrack it then go get cleaned up," he told her. She shrugged as she got to her feet, "Already told your girl downstairs on the desk," she said with another shrug, "I'm borrowing the showers here them I'm going to go crash," she said as she left the room. The Healer just shook his head and went back to Silverr, supervising her care. Since she was such an unusual hybrid, they didn't take any risks with her care. If the simpler methods worked, they used them. When the female was tucked under a very light sheet, her sister walked back in. She was towelling off her waist length hair and wearing a tank top and shorts set in teal that showed her toned body off as well as the green vine tattoos that wound up her legs and arms, the tank top giving hints of more of the trailing vine under it. She dropped her backpack in a chair as she looked at her sister then at the medical people before she finally looked around the room. That was a lot of bodies for the Club... She looked at Saryn, "If it's crowded, you can ask Ice to sit on her. Might be better that way anyway. He's more stubborn than she is," she suggested then rolled her neck in an attempt to pop it. Vulture was starting to wake up and recognized the voice, "Karma..." she mumbled and slowly raised her hand as she tried to open her eyes. Yzze's ice blue eyes widened as she moved over to clasp that hand, "Vulture! What happened to you?!" she said in a shocked tone. Vulture shook her head lazily as she fought the drugs, "Fanatics... Killed Reaper and Riddle... Wanted to know where the Hylarr are," she mumbled out, thankful that the drugs gave her a bit of mental distance from everything right now. Yzze gave a heavy sigh and touched her forehead to the female bear's then pulled back again, "Silverr tangled with something so she'll be house-bound for a little while. You sleep off the meds and I'll check in when you're up. We'll drink to the boys then," she said softly, releasing her as she went back under. She looked around and saw four sets of new eyes on her but shrugged them off as she turned back to the Healer, "I'm going to get some sleep before I get grumpy," she told him simply then headed for the doorway. Saryn shook his head as he adjusted the sheet over Silverr. One of the Medicae asked him how the Hylarr could be sister to the woman that left and shrugged one shoulder, "They're half-sisters. They're also half-siblings with Ice. That means that both females are half demon. As I understand it, Ice has a lot of half-sisters. But if Yzze comes in here injured, don't touch her, just get myself or one of the other Healers to take care of her. She does require magic to heal up. But right now she's likely exhausted. She tends to stay awake for days at a time," he explained as he checked Vulture's injuries then adjusted her sheet. It should also be noted that Yzze, otherwise known as Karma to most, had completely ignored Varos. He'd said something nasty about her profession once and she was still holding a grudge against him for it. Considering her secondary bloodline, holding a grudge could last a very long time... Saryn finally looked at Varos, "We'll leave your men to you. The drugs have fully worn off by now. Just make sure they know the rules then you can arrange apartments for them. I need to get someone to call Ice to collect his sister then arrange for someone to keep an eye on Vulture. She's not out of the woods yet. I'm worried about some of her injuries that look like a possible infection. I still don't know what all they used on her. I know we got some of the silver neutralized but they could have used so many things on her as well. And don't ask me about internal injuries on her. You don't want that lecture right now," he finished that and left with the Medicae following him and asking more questions about magical healing. That left Varos with the three Dogs of War they'd pulled out and two unconscious females with the knowledge that Cassarria was on her way to him after arranging for the apartments for him. So he had just a few minutes before they gave him s**t about getting married. Not to mention being alive...

Varos observed what was going on with vulture; the pain he felt of the condition she was left stung deep. When Saryn and the Medicae left leaving him alone with his brothers and the women, Varos got comfortable as he monitored everyone condition, but he wasn’t worried, the Hybrid physiology kept them safe especially against a tranquilizer. Trey came in as he sat there her clothes new since she shredded her uniform and hadn’t put it back together yet “how’re they doing?” Varos shrugged “should be anytime they’ve more than slept the drug out of their system” Trey nodded and simply moved over to the walk to lean up against it. Their wait wasn’t long as they started to stir, growning and shifting about as they tried to wake up fully, Ron sitting up slowly as his vision cleared up and just saw Varos and Trey there looking at them with a grin on their face. Ron shook his head as it was apparent he was confused by what he saw, rubbing his eyes a moment he finally spoke up “Varos?” chuckling slightly Varos got up and replied “good to see you” Trey had a toothy smiled that seemed to reach her ears as she stepped away from the wall and walked over to the bed with Varos but she didn’t say anything as the others finally sat up slowly and saw Varos there as well the surprise in their eyes was clear, well most of them were focused on varos, Quintus’ eyes were locked on the motionless figure that was next to him, Vulture, Varos looked at Quintus confused for a moment before it donned on him what had happened and was surprised “well, didn’t see that coming” the others looked at him before they too realized what was going on, Quintus had found his mate, his eyes showing surprise, shock, excitement, and hope all at once. Hope that this female wouldn’t reject him the moment she saw him and knew what he was. Rey was the first to speak his senses finally catching up “uhh where are we?” Varos turned his attention back to Rey and Ron and replied, “at the club’s medical room, my mate and i run this place” that surprised them including Quintus whose attention instantly went to Varos and spoke “what?!?” Varos chuckled lightly and replied “yeah, well that can wait, we’ll need to debrief you three when time allows, but rest assured you are safe and best of all free, you were the last of our brethren to be pulled out of the grasp of RRT, but the work isn’t done yet still have an op to finish” Ron looked at the others and replied “what op?” Varos shook his head “not now, for now just relax and when you are ready quarters have been prepared for the each of you” Desmond came in not to long after the initial conversation Bast in his arms still the Medicae and Healer following close behind, he moved to a bed at the end giving the guys a nod of acknowledgement as he passed by their beds each of them showing concern for the one in his arms and watched as he sat down on a bed helping bast onto the bed so that the healer and Medicae could check her injuries, Varos was equally concerned and was quick to notify Cassarria that Desmond and Bast was in the medical room, her injuries looked bad. The Medicae opened a medkit and helped Bast lay down before covering what she could with a sheet on the bed and simply went to work, these injuries were serious the look of a silver laced weapon which had her pulling out a syringe and a vial pulling a dose from it before injecting it into Bast’s arm, it was a counter agent created by the Medicae corp to help those with a Metal allergy deal with the effects of exposure to such metals before the Medicae along with the healer assisted in dealing with the immediate injuries where the interrogator had started cutting into her skin the wounds were still bleeding, the Medicae seeing this pulled a pouch out of their medkit and ripped it open applying a powder to the wounds which burned but they encouraged the body to clot the wounds so that they could work easier. The Medicae looked at the Healer and spoke “are you able to heal the injuries? If not, we’ll have to do it the old fashion way” the Healer laid hands on Bast and started channeling healing magic into her the wounds closed slowly except for the worst of it where the silver blade did more damage to the flesh, the healer shook their head and replied “not fully natural healing would take too long even for a Hylar because of the nature of the injury” the Medicae nodded and replied “understood then its our way” the Medicae pussed a moment and reached up to key her comms “This is Medicae Serria two requesting Theta priority to my location, i have one female who is suffering from severe Injuries caused by a silver blade, Counter agent has been administered but showing minimal effect to the area of impact” through the comms a response came through “Theta Priority confirmed additional medicae has been rerouted to your location along with additional medical supplies” The Medicae replied “understood command, applying Synth weave to stabilize” “confirm standby additional support will be onsite in five minutes” Desmond looked at the Medicae concerned “Synth Weave?” the Medicae pulled out and entire kit and opened it revealing applicator with a translucent fluid in it “nothing to be concerned, just a second skin to keep the wound from getting infected until we can properly treat the injury” the Medicae used the swabs in the kit to clean the wounds before pulling out the applicator and started emptying the fluid onto the wound sealing it from the air, the fluid was cool as it was applied to the injuries. After a few minutes a group of medicae with specialized kits arrived and approached they opened their kits and gestured for Desmond to step aside while they worked on Bast, they all spoke in elvish as they worked they carefully removed the synth weave exposing the wound which started bleeding again, one injection a second counter agent dose along with a mild anesthetics into Bast to help with the worst of the effects of the metal, while a second stood by to hand what was requested by the two who worked on cleaning up the wounds fully carefully removing the dead flesh burned by the silver and simply made sure nothing remained before they looked over at the Healer who stood close by and waved him over one of the two speaking english “can you heal?” the Healer nodded and approached as well as laid their hands on Bast once again. This time the wounds cleared up without issue. Desmond relaxed when he was allowed to approach and simply sat down on the bed next to Bast and watched her. The Elves that had come sorted their kits out before they left the sole Medicae remained as her colleagues left.

Bast tried to be quiet but it was impossible. She still growled, screamed, and even cried as they worked on her. They couldn't use any numbing agents on her since they didn't work, so entire thing felt a little barbaric to witness. But it was necessary. It simply had to be done. When they all backed away from her, she reached out a shaking hand towards Desmond. She was relieved when he took it wordlessly and let her lean into him while her body shook from pure reaction and residual pain. While they worked, Healer Saryn noted the reaction Quintus had to Vulture and quietly had his assistants work on moving her to a double bed instead of a single. Partway through the process, Bast's screams woke Vulture up. She tried to move before she fully woke then froze as she sucked in a hard breath, then tried to breathe slowly through the pain. It wasn't easy for her at all. Saryn motioned Quintus over, "Come here. She's going to need you in contact with her for her to heal at all until her bear wakes up," he told him simply. When he hesitated, Saryn motioned to his assistants again and they started removing his gear and boots. Each time he started to protest, they just swatted his hands away and did the work anyway. Since there were three of them, it was useless to protest. When he was down to his pants Saryn pulled the sheet back and one of the assistants pushed him from behind, "As much skin contact as you can give her. I know she's in bad shape but until her bear wakes up you're all we have to help her. They used a lot of silver and quicksilver on her. Thankfully it was mostly superficial but until she can work the residuals out of her system we don't dare do much Healing on her. We don't need infection setting in under a sealed wound. They tortured her for at least a week. It's a miracle that she's still alive," he explained as he got the man into the bed next to the injured werebear. Vulture didn't open her eyes yet but she spoke in a voice hoarse from disuse and screaming, "Wanted to know about Hylarr in town... We didn't break... The boys tried to distract them away from me," she rasped out and licked chapped lips before speaking again, "Gave us injections... Suppressed our bears... Don't know how long it will last," she added, "Meant to burn us when they were finished with us," she finished. Tears seeped from the corners of her eyes as she remembered her brothers trying to be distractions to keep her alive. She knew they'd sacrificed themselves for her and it burned something deep inside of her. Saryn motioned to his assistants again and got one of them to get some water for her. Bast spoke up then, still curled up with Desmond holding her, "If your brother hadn't distracted him... He was going to skin me alive... I still don't know why he did it..." she said in a shaking voice. Vulture gave a small smile, "That was Reaper... He was the protector... Riddle was the smartass... Proud of my brothers... Reaper knew, but he protected you as he did me and the Den. Honor it, don't question it," she explained softly. She finally started to feel the warmth of the body next to her and blinked her eyes open, revealing them to be a pale brown that bordered on bronze. She moved her head just enough to get a look at the person beside her and blinked for a moment, "Well... That's unexpected," she said softly. She hadn't always been the most expressive person and missing her bear wasn't helping that. Still, the slight smile showed that it wasn't an unwelcome surprise, just unexpected. She tried to shift a little bit but froze when her body protested the movement. After a moment, she looked at Saryn and raised her eyebrows at him until he answered her unspoken question, "Broken ribs, bruised organs that I don't feel like listing, possible skull fracture, I'm not sure if the right arm is fractured or just sprained, the ankle is broken, and you've been sliced in several places that needed stitches. I won't mention the bruises," he finished listing her injuries that had been identified then took in a deep breath, "As soon as your bear is awake again, you should heal up as usual," now he hesitated slightly but knew he had to continue anyway, "Your brothers -" he stopped when she shook her head. "I know. They would have survived if they hadn't used the quicksilver," she said simply, knowing exactly what had been done to them all, "The Den will take care of them. I've already said my goodbyes to them," she added, her tone letting everyone know that she wouldn't talk about it. She felt the man next to her touch her hair, knowing that it had to feel like crap right now, "As for you.... I'm Vulture... I normally shift into a bear but it's dormant for now... I hope I'm not a disappointment for you," she said simply and a bit bluntly, "They washed me down before they brought me back here to neutralize the quicksilver and I haven't gotten much sleep lately," she added a massive understatement for her experiences over the last... She frowned then looked around a bit, finally seeing Varos, "Hey, Pirate... How long have I been gone? Kinda lost track of the days with all the torture... By the way, while they're effective, they're unimaginative with the torture stuff..." she said with a partial shrug that she stopped when something protested. Bast finally felt her shaking start to slow down but her body was still protesting. Her mind was protesting even more. She could still hear the man talking about skinning her then putting them all to the pyre... Someone else, meanwhile, had taken the initiative to call Torr in. He was apparently a universal donor for all Hylarr and they'd wanted something on hand in case they needed it for Silverr. So he was on his way up now... Saryn looked over at Desmond and Bast but wanted her here for a little longer just to make sure she didn't have an adverse reaction to the injections she'd been given. Then he looked at the other two hybrids and narrowed his eyes, "As for you two... Behave while you're here or you'll get to see the one thing that Varos is afraid of," was the only warning he gave them before he stepped out briefly. Cassarria stepped in at that moment and her looks drew every eye. That may have had something to do with the small sparks of fire in her hair, but one never knew if that was an illusion or not. She crossed to Varos and handed him a folder, "Images from the capture and a list of what we confiscated from the monastery. We got everyone out before Z showed up, but he's been tearing up the place since he landed. Zer has managed to get us updated information on our neighbors. I'm not asking how he got it. But it's all current. Also, our counterpart at Brimstone sent you another note that I haven't looked at," she explained to him. She felt his arm slide around her waist and leaned into him as he helped to calm her down, the flames disappearing from her hair, "Those images are a bit disturbing for me. I think I need a little care and comfort," her voice dropped down into a sultry purr he'd recognize easily. He was the only person that could handle her when her temper was up and she was upset over Bast getting taken plus the bears getting tortured in her proverbial backyard. But now, the three hybrids probably had a bunch of questions.....
